• It'd taken quite a while to build this beauty, but frequent trips from this little shed to various clans and even the feral lands for parts had definitely paid off. Now, the fox ran a paw over the piano's rough wooden exterior, closing his eyes for a moment to simply enjoy the feel of the instrument. Then, he settled down upon his haunches before the keys, fixed his tie, and began to play. It was a lovely tune, one that he'd picked up from his father before his disappearance, the only other thing from his blank past that he could remember. Letting his paws fly across the smooth keys... It felt so right. And he enjoyed it.

She hadn't been too far away, so she made her way over on little pawsteps. She didn't know how someone could be enjoying life right because of what was happening in SunClan at the moment, but she decided not to question it. The clan needed a little optimism right now.

  • Raf, of course, had no idea anyone had stumbled upon his little safe haven. So, the male continued playing, and finally began to sing after a while, British accent clear in his voice with every word. Sure, a lot had been going on in Sunclan as of late, but hopefully everything would be alright soon enough. For now? He'd simply come here whenever he was stressed.

He simply found himself muttering, absentmindedly, humming in a nondescript contemplation and acknowledgement. Music.. huh? That reminded him of those radios, that Peacemaker had listened to, back in Aogiri. Whilst she had been listening into them for information on the 'centipede', no doubt, music had trickled in from time to time.

    Not music like this.. Though.

Now that he was thinking about it, this was the first time that he had heard live music, wasn't it? Maybe that was why he lingered, for a little longer than usual.

Wow, the music was so... pretty. She couldn't think of anyone in Aogiri or anyone else she knew who could play. Listening to a live performance would be... risky. This was her first time, too. She had definitely heard some music while listening to all those different radios, in Aogiri. "Wow..." she breathed, standing next to Dea. She wished she could play like this for him. It was the very least she could do, if she knew how.

    serah .

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]It was the sound of a piano that made Misao drop the papers she had been shuffling through- a book that had fallen apart she was trying to mend. The countless pages fluttered to the ground likes fall leaves after such careful reorganization but it was as if she didn't even notice, the deep and rich sound sending a shock down to the core of her soul as she moved from her paralysed state only to relax her shoulder and exhale gently, her eyes sliding shut as she let the music sing to her soul. It was very much the same as when she had walked in on Phantom playing- like a beckoning to her heart, reaching out to her and pulling her into a warm and kind embrace.

Without realizing it her paws followed the noise where there was already a crowd, so instead of barging in to see who it was she simply leaned against the wall outside and stared at the ceiling, letting the notes take her on a roller coaster of noise. With every forte she felt her heartbeats grow stronger and as the notes grew faster and softer so did her mind and heart, filling her with a sensation unlike any other. She wasn't sure why the sound of paws moving along the soft ivory piano keys made her heart weep, but it was a notion she found both painful and pleasant and brought a slightly relieved smile to her face as she lifted a paw and let it fall against her birdlike chest, feeling the rhythm of her heartbeat in time with the music. "Beautiful," she murmured quietly, her voice entranced.

  • Raf was only slightly embarrassed when many of his clan mates seemed to show up out of nowhere. His singing faded off into nothing, and he finished off the last few notes of the song before removing his paws from the smooth keys. "Er... Hey, guys..." he offered haphazardly, grinning.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:7pt;line-height: 130%;]Anything that Peacemaker played, would sound beautiful for him.. She happened to be his only solace, after all. Therefore, the fact that she couldn't play piano, wasn't a bother to him. If she were to, though.. He'd no doubt be capable of listening to her, all day long.

His optics angled towards the pianist, as he spoke. Ugh.. He was supposed to respond, right..? He glanced at Peace, subtly, before returning his gaze calmly towards Rafael. "Yo." He'd mutter, in response, somewhat nondescript in his tone. "Do you play.. often?" Dea would add, though such a phrase was a little, um, forced.. He just had to do his best to make such responses seem natural, for Peacemaker's sake.. He probably needed to make a few friends, or something like that, unless she'd likely be worried about him. Making friends seemed very much beyond him, however, as he didn't quite care, in the end.

Nodding curtly, her mismatched gaze would flicker lazily away, no notable expression on her face.[/fancypost]
