Liz looked around as he told them to pair up. This is when she really wished she was with Hebred. He was pretty much the only one she trusted enough to pair up with in these drills. As she watched some pair off two by two, she found a girl similar in build as herself. She smiled slightly and caught her gaze. The girl pointed to her and shrugged,and Liz nodded. She had just found her partner.

"I'm Liz," she said as she moved towards the girl. She had black hair and light green eyes.

"Julie," she said in returned and then turned back to face Don. Liz did the same.

Liz looked for a punching bag and made her way over, Julie following. Julie was the one that began to punch first. Liz held the bag, but was soon surprised at the force of her punches. Beneath Julie's small frame was a lot of surprising strength. Liz had to really work to keep the bag still for Julie.

Soon it was her turn and she switched with Julie. Liz would punch, and she would see that the bag didnt move too much. She clenched her teeth and punched again, feeling the sting on her knuckles. But the bag still didnt move all that much.

Liz looked at Julie and nodded, Julie taking her place. She watched as Julie placed a hand next to her face, lashing out with the other. "You're rather good at this," Liz said as she watched Julie's motions.

Julie flashed a smile and punched before answering. "It just takes practice." Liz counted mentally as Julie punched the bag, counting twenty and then switching to stand in front. Liz drew a breath in and then raised a hand, punching at the bag quickly. Her knuckle were no longer pale white, but rather a growing purple with a few cracks. However, she ignored the pain, refusing to look hurt while training.

Liz switched once more, letting Julie have first rounded. Julie kept hotting har,, seeming to gain speed with the more force she put behind her punch. Liz was impressed.

On her turn, liz didn't punch as hard. Her knuckles we're growing numb and her arms burned. However, she was able to out a bit of speed behind her punches, even if they wouldn't hurt anything.

Though, he was being nice to them, he still showed that it was he who had authority. In a few weeks, they'll be able to improve by a lot. I'm glad I didn't get any mindless cowards. Liz and Julie switched a few more times, though Liz was very aware that Julie could show her up in this. However, she knew she needed to worry about how she was doing in these training sessions so she would make it. I may end up having to train more than the others she thought, knowing she had to take all of this as serious as possible.

Defense. Dodging was something that Liz felt like she could do well. Blocking punches, well, she would have to get use to being hit. She drew a deep breath and let it out slowly. Dont lose focus she repeated silently. She let her arms drop, feeling how heavy they now felt.
