    The sun rose gently over the horizon, releasing bright, golden pools of sun over the land. Spottedpaw, as usual, rose with the sun. A cool breeze nipped at her nose, sending small shivers down her back. Beside her, Wolfpaw began to stir, a bit aggravated that Spottedpaw always rose at such an early time. He stretched his paws and grunted quietly. His sister padded out of the den, looking at the fresh-kill pile with ravenous eyes.    [/size]

    Duskpaw opened his eyes and stretched in his nest, beside him was his sister and she was still asleep. He moved her body slightly as he stood up and slipped away. She always slept with him and he always curled his tail around her whole little body to keep her warm. He looked around the camp and sat down to lick his paw and run it over his face.



    Littlepaw picked her head p slowly with her eyes sleepy as she looked around "Duskpaw?" She called out softly but it seemed he wasn't in the Den. She got up sleepily and walked out the den, not watching where she was walking, and bumped into Duskpaw outside the den "Watch it!" She hissed picking her sleepy head up immediately to see Duskpaw. She looked at him embarrassed and sat beside him on the other side with her head down still and looked away. She wasn't going to apologize, he was in the way. Still, she felt bad because it was him, but continued bathing herself with her ears flat and irritated.



    Lilypelt moved around in her nest trying to get comfortable then sat up giving a grunt "This is so uncomfortable..." She said softly trying to move her nest around and make it comfortable "Moss...I'll get more moss, Fresh" She said and walked out the Warriors Den "Someone come with me to get fresh moss? My nest is getting uncomfortable" She said out loud for someone to go with her. She was fine going alone but still, it was too early. She looked over and saw what Littlepaw had done and gave a sigh That apprentice... she thought to herself.

    Socktail opened her eyes, realizing it was a brand new day. "Ah, a brand new day..." She whispered to herself, getting up and taking a good look at her surroundings. She was still inside of the den, so she thought it was a good time to head outdoors. During her trudge out of the den, she stepped on a stick, the object responding with a loud snap. "AAH! O-oh, it's just a s-stick...okay..." She panicked quietly, trying to understand what just happened and why she is like this.

    The Massive tom watched from his post as a guard. He was surprised when he saw mostly apprentices out, the younger cats like to sleep in on his opinion. Lionwhisker yawned at the long nights of boredom he's been there since the moon has risen and was the Tom was tired! He stretched his fore paws before looking to see lillypelt asking for asking for a assistant to get moss. "Lillypelt", He called the grayish she-cat. Lionwhisker walked up to her"Can you, Socktail, and Sandystone go out for a border patrol?"

    Ivystar woke, still a bit enervated since the events of yesterday. The leader stood, wincing at her sore paws before padding out to join her lively clan." Goodmorning, " she said to Lionwhisker," have you organized any patrols this morning?" Ivystar asked, yawning silently.

    Lillypelt looked at Lionwhisker a little surprised "Y-Yeah. No problem" she said and gave a smile then saw Ivystar come to them and dipped her head as respect before padding off to round up the patrol. She went into the Warriors Den and saw Socktail first "Okay there?" She asked with a small smile "We're on Border Patrol together, with Sandystone as well" she said with a small purr.

    Socktail turned to see Lillypelt and gave a nod. "Ah, I'm okay." She purred, then realizing Lillypelt also added on about the patrol. "O-oh! Okay!" She stuttered, giving a shy smile to the other she-cat. Socktail has always been an awkward anti-social around others, but at this moment she actually felt alright. Aaah...all the loud noises that can be made while on the patrol...that makes me worry... She thought to herself, shuddering a little. She decided to shake away that feeling, and focus on what she needs to do right now.

    Lillypelt gave a smile and looked around "Alright, Let's fine Sandystone and then be on our way" she said cheerfully. She then looked around the camp and looked around for Sandystone "Sandystone!" She yelled out, obviously not caring if she woke anyone up.

    Yelloweyes walked out of the warrior den. It was morning? She yawned and smiled, feeling good today. The tabby started over towards the fresh kill pile.


    Squirrltail slowly opened his eyes. Morning. He stood and walked out, obviously not in a hurry. He didn't like getting up so early but he knew it had to be done. He sat down, not in the mood to eat.

    "Actually Ivystar, I've just put Lillypelt,Socktail and Sandystone on a borer patrol", he mewed while turning to the She-cat. "Should I put a cat on Guard duty?" Lionwhisker replied again with a flick of his tail. He sat down and curled his paws around himself as his fur was already room with the extra time he had, the Tom groomed himself earlier than normal
