A wormhole, they've named Magmea (from latin, magnum mea which means "big enigma") was discovered by a group of NASA astronauts on an expedition into a foreign galaxy. The authorities have marked off the area as unfit for any more travel missions, deeming it too unsafe. But this new discovery is intriguing scientists and many are seeking legal permission to send in a drone.

    After nearly two months, a visual reported back to Earth from the drone. There hasn't been any sign of the four astronauts who embarked on the long journey, so their deaths have been declared. The drone, however, finally gave Earth a view of where it has landed. It's still on earth, as scientists have so obviously pointed out. But it's 225 million years ago, during the Mesozoic Era. They've estimated it to be during the jurassic period. Yeah, dinosaurs. As if our world isn't crazy enough.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; height: auto; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify;]It's been over 400 years since they discovered Magmea, the world of the dinosaurs. Although scientifically speaking, it's just Earth 225 million years ago.
    They sent waves of settlers in the first few decades - mostly scientists, architects, and labour workers - to populate and research the area. They built small underground towns, as they discovered dinosaurs would just flatten any buildings they constructed aboveground. But the fascination and wonder of Magmea slowly faded as the dinosaurs and other species began posing problems. They stopped sending people there, and came up with a new system.
    Earth was becoming overpopulated and resources were running out. The world's governments knew that they had to come up with a solution, and fast. Together, they implanted the Universal Punishment Arrangement (or UPA for short). This new method called for all criminals who were legally adults (over 18 years old) to be punished with execution by government firing squads. Anyone under the age of 18 was given a slim chance of survival - while still getting rid of them - by being sent to Magmea on special shuttles.
    This system only lasted for about 200 years before the shuttles stopped coming to the land of dinosaurs. No one knows what happened, but no one has heard from the future Earth (or present Earth if you'd like to confuse things) since. Through a few generations, we've returned to a more primitive state, though we're still fairly educated and have learned of our past (or I guess, future) through stories and things the first settlers have left behind. We stick together in "Grupabrodas", which are like clans and tribes. Some of them have ranking systems, like the Jungatri (our grupabroda), whereas others simply live in anarchy. Then there are those who live underground in the towns that the settlers built. They are usually very hostile towards outsiders. It's a dangerous world out there, and you have to watch out for other humans as much as you do for dinosaurs.

    - Create racially diverse characters. However, they're all similar culturally and speak the same slang/broken english language - with a few exceptions.
    - I don't wanna see pictures of characters covered in makeup and curled hair, okay? This plot takes place in the rainforest/jungle where dinosaurs roam around and electricity doesn't exist. They're a bit like pirates, aboriginals, and grounders (The 100 reference) mixed together.
    - When posting you must use a fancypost that includes their appearance (picture), name, age, gender, sexuality, and rank.
    - The language they speak is similar to Patois (the Jamaican language). It's essentially broken English, mashed-up words, and differently pronounced sounds (ex: "th" - "d"). Everyone's variation of it is different.
    - This is semi-advanced to advanced so I expect a pretty good paragraph every post (though I understand low muse).
    - Fill out the form properly and in detail.
    - Character ages range from 18-30.
    - Swearing is allowed, just start out a vowel. You can also make up your own swear words if you want. Their language is pretty broad and lenient.
    - Use unique, informal names for your character. They have a very informal culture.
