  • [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px;][justify]He was... doing something along the lines of meditating, to say the least. Or, well, that's what it would of looked like if he could be seen. Eyes closed, Barnes had accidentally flickered into invisibility. Perhaps the observant would notice small puffs of breath developing in thin air, but other than that it appeared as if no one was there. In reality, Bucky wasn't mediating. He was in pain. A deep pain that shook him down into his roots, taking him by his shoulders and shaking him. A mix of physical and mental pain. A state of shock, despite his attempts at tying to remain fine. His head, it ached with such ferocity, hence the power malfunction. His wounds weren't healing as they should. His ribs still stuck out from his sides. Maybe it was himself, ignoring the need to rest, because everyone knew the former deputy was nothing but *ing stubborn.

His sides felt as if they were lit aflame, his throat burned as if someone had poured sand into his mouth and forced him to chew it all up and swallow. The SunClanner could practically feel the grains of sand lodged within his canines. The gritty feeling on his tongue. Though, he remained still, not making a sound. Invisible, accidentally. Hopefully someone wouldn't run into him.

/ lmao someone can run / walk into him.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px][justify]Unfortunately, Misao was not at her sharpest now, having woken from sleep only an hour ago. If she had run into him while still in her zoned out sleeping mode, he would end up a lot worse off than he had been before, rather than just a blank stare, which was what happened as the feline, sluggishly dragging herself around the territory, walked right into the invisible canine. Her silver gaze stared into the distance as she tried to figure out what had just happened, and with a lift of her paw she aimed to poke whatever she had run into- sure enough, there was something there. She squinted and lashed her tail, slowly dragging herself out of her dazed state although groggy.

"Is somebody there? Is this a prank?" She seemed oblivious to the injuries even though the smell was there, and was pretty convinced a ghost had come to haunt her down. She blinked and took a few steps back, finally assessing the situation. She narrowed her eyes thinly and lowered her head, anxiety and concern blossoming at once as her foggy eyes became light with worry. Seemed she had finally woken up. [b]"What's wrong?"

Barnes was able to snap out of whatever state he'd been in as someone walked right into his side. At first he was nothing but confused as the female besides him touched his coat, causing his wounds to sear with pain at the pressure. "What the hell?" His voice rang out from deep down in his chest, "Yeah, I'm right here. Can't you see me?" He sounded tired, but like... Misao, the german-shepard was dragging himself out of whatever state he'd been in.

It was only then would wolf warrior push himself up onto all fours, paws digging into the ground and the snow underneath him crunching. Or well, whatever was left of the snow. Slush, call it. The realization hit him like a truck, slamming into his face and knocking him backwards. Power malfunction. "I'm invisible to you, huh?" He gave a blink of his hazel gaze, shifting his weight back and forth as he continuously tried to shift his broken-power back so that he could be seen by the naked-eye. And, yes, for a moment he was visible, though of course it didn't last long and Barnes would simply then give a defeated-like exhale. "Shit."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px][justify]"See... you? Are you a ghost?" She stared hard at the air in fromt of her, but was only able to see a slight shift on the ground. She realized at about the same time as him and blinked in surprise, a lightbulb going off in her head. Invisible! He could go invisible! So maybe... he was a ghost? She had been confined to an existence devoid of powers or animals other than the prey that never spoke and Takumi and mother and Mustafa who were cats, things were strange enough with things like leopards and dogs. For a moment he came into view before disappearing and she stared in shock. Not a ghost? And... he was hurt, severely injured from the looks. She remembered poking him and snatched her paw back even though the damage had been done minutes ago. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were injured. Is there any way I can help? I... don't know why you're turning invisible but I can get a doctor or something...? Oh! I'm Misao by the way, mister ghost! It's nice to meet you." She was always on a mind going on one track that often snapped off to form brand new tracks, consistently blazing by at a hundred miles per hour. It was a dangerous lifestyle.
