Lucilion had quietly sauntered out of the casino, he had been having trouble sleeping all night and decided that he needed to burn up his energy somewhere else other than the casino. That would cause ruckus and possibly wake the others up, then everyone would be grumpy the next day. However, it was the stars that had caught his attention and brought him to use up the last bit of his energy running toward a patch of grass where the moon cascaded over him. He peered up into the sky as he lowered himself to the ground, the wind had been picking up all around him, suggesting a possible storm arriving soon. But he was too occupied by the stars and the sky to be worried about rain, his amber eyes shifting from the moon to a few shapes that the stars had created. He was unsure of what they meant, or why they were there, but he was fascinated by their existence.
He decided that he wanted to get a book on astronomy, whip it out and look up the meaning of the pictures the sky had been showing to him. He wondered if the clan even had possessed such book. He stood up, remembering that there was a library down the street from the abandoned town. That was the best place to look. He ran inside the building and began what had seemed like an endless search to find the book, but he had been successful after finding the science section. He returned to his place in the grass, dropping the thick textbook down and nudging it open with his nose. It was heavy, but worth it.

  • The Cinereous Vulture was perched upon a small tree near a little park area of the abandoned city. If nobody looked close enough, it seemed like Erin completely disappeared from sight, almost perfectly blending into the shroud of night. The sound of paw steps hitting the ground gently aroused Erin from his slumber. He was more of a day-bird, and he had quite the day today. For a moment, the vulture stretched out his wings and limbs for they felt stiff from holding the same postion for however long he was sleeping. Flying during the night was a bit dangerous for him, he didn't have night vision like an owl and his mind was still drowsy from sleep.
Erin leaped off from the tree branch, but almost plummeted to the ground as he was a bit slow to flap his wings to lift off. He felt the tips of his primary feather brush against the cold ground before he finally got himself into the air. The Vulture had to squint his eyes to make note of the cat skittering about. Slowly, he followed Lucilion to the place where the small male was stargazing by his lonesome with a book. Erin was pretty sure Lucilion could hear him from a mile away. He wasn't putting a lot of effort into flying quietly so the Vulture landed next to the male to look at the book. "What's that about?" He asked, still staring at the astronomy book.

Lucilion could indeed hear the vulture's wings, struggling against the force of the wind and he looked toward Erin to catch a glimpse of him drifting toward the ground. His gleaming amber eyes turned back toward the astronomy book as the vulture had came next to him, his attention being brought to the question when asked. "This, my friend, is an astronomy book." He guessed by the stars on the book. "I'm trying to figure out the stars, like that one up there." He looked back up toward the sky, aiming his gaze toward a group of stars projecting a constellation of a pegasus. His gaze was drawn back toward the book as he continued to flip through the pages quickly, searching for a similar image to the winged horse in the sky.
He had wondered what it had meant, why it was there... He also wondered if the vulture could touch it with the help of his ability to fly. He finally landed on the page with the pegasus, his paw pointing toward it. The image had six stars, which connected down toward a human, who also connected down toward a human warrior. "Ahh.." He looked back toward the sky, "Found it." He confirmed.

see? this right here, these were the things that sayaka enjoyed. just looking up at the stars with her son and her clanmates. 'they are quite amazing, are they not?' came her telepathic voice as she sat down beside the two. [b]'me and vanny used to do this all the time. at least, that's what my journal says.'

Aaliya murmured, quietly. She too crept up, paw steps softer then her voice. She remembered when they had stargazer before. She had been so proud of the Circle. Arrogant, almost. She had still confidence in that same group, but no longer in herself. She knew herbs, could sing. Not that she'd sung any of her order's songs as of late. She was afraid to. But what good was all that, when she failed again, again and again? She didn't dare name them. She had been thoroughly equipped. Therefore, it was her failure, not her order's. Or her clan's. • Erin moved away to allow everyone else some room if they wanted to peek over Lucilion's shoulder to look at the book. The Vulture looked up at the sky, taking a quick peek from the book to spot the Pegasus written in the stars. He clicked his beak lightly in joy, even at the expense of a few hours of sleep. "Pardon me if I sound stupid, but I like to think that all these figures in the stars did something special. Whether it be a heroic act or something else, surely they had to do some grand thing to be recorded in the stars after death."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=transparent; width: 425px;]★ ★ ★-- Leo must have stated up at the same sky for a week already. He was used to not being able to fall asleep due to his sheer paranoia of falling asleep and ending up having nightmares, or memories, or whatever they were supposed to be. The thing was, he was getting sick of seeing the stars. He would much rather not see them, because every time he did, he felt rather sick...of course, that could just be the aftermath of the amount of sleep he was getting. Leo wasn't sure if he could tell at this point. Still, seeing those same cosmic lights every single night was growing annoying, yet Leo always found himself staring up at them, as if he expected something to drastically change. It was useless, basically, and he knew that he was just sitting there wasting his time. It was a vicious cycle of staying up, watching the stars, and then falling asleep in some bizarre location afterwards. Still, was Leo ever going to change that? Probably not. Even though he seemed to always possess a certain confidence, he always had trouble throwing away a routine, especially one that he had been doing for a while.

For now, Leo was in a different spot, pink eyes fixated on the sky above, focusing on certain stars every now and then to see if he could find constellations. He didn't realize what was going on in the distance until he heard voices. A little surprised - and a little scared - Leo glanced at them, realizing that they were none other than his clanmates. Oh, thank goodness. The last thing he wanted was for someone to jump him in the middle of the night. Should he join? He had already mentally expressed his belief that watching the stars was quite useless. However, Leo approached anyway. Maybe looking at the stars with his friends would be different. Hey, maybe it'd be fun. He didn't know unless he tried - anyways, it wasn't as if he had anything better to do with his time. Let's be real, he was never doing anything that had the slightest bit of importance.

As soon as he approached, he sat down next to them, giving them a huge grin. "'Sup? We're looking at stars, huh? I'm like the master at looking at them!" Leo bragged before tilting his attention towards the book that Luci had. Oh, Leo had never seen a book like that before. He tilted his head to once side, attempting to read a bit of it. "Whoa, is this a book about them?" Leo asked as soon as he finished reading a small portion of it. He didn't know that there was a book that existed about stars.

"Quite amazing indeed," Lucilion said toward his mother, who approached Erin and him. He had barely noticed the fact that she had joined them, let alone that Aaliya and Leo were next to follow. He smiled softly as the group began to think about the stars, his amber gaze looking toward the vulture. "No, no... Of course not! Maybe we'll be among the stars one day, too?" He looked back up toward the stars, searching for another constellation, or something notable. "I have an idea... Maybe the warrior rode the horse to visit the other human, who then joined him and together they fought against evil. The wings could represent going to a safe-haven." He suggested as he had continued to scan the sky. He would have jumped at Leo's words, but because he was too relaxed and focused he just replied. "Really? Would you like to join us?" He looked over toward the blonde feline, who seemed rather curious. "Yes, it is. Isn't that neat?" He grinned, happy that Leo was just as curious as he was about the nightly sky.

His eyes were still fixed above as he also listened to Lucilion. He nodded lightly at the male's idea. That was really heroic sounding! "An interesting theory. I like it," he said softly. The Vulture locked on to an odd-looking small constellation. "Excuse me, but may I take a look at that astrology book? I think I found another constellation, but I'm not quite sure what it is."

Lucilion smiled, "I believe you were the one who prompted the idea, Erin." He looked toward the vulture for a moment before turning back toward the sky. "Aren't the stars just wonderful?" He eased his eyes until they closed, imagining what it would feel like being apart of the stars. He grinned a little at the childish thought and looked toward Erin when the vulture had spoke, "Of course." He raised his eyebrows, genuinely curious about what he had found.

The stars were beautiful. They looked like little ice shards that were brightly reflecting the moon's rays. Erin quietly flipped through the pages, occasionally looking up at the mysterious constellation he was trying to learn about. It had such an odd shape. Eventually, he landed on the page that had the same constellation Erin had found. What was this? It outlined the shape of a fly? The constellation was actually just a fly in the sky?
The Cinereous Vulture looked up at the constellation in the sky and tried to envision a fly on it. Huh, it actually made sense. So the book wasn't joking. "I believe I have found a fly in the sky," he said quietly. He felt like his theory was debunked. A fly was so small and it was always considered as an annoyance to practically everyone. What heroic thing could a fly possibly do to deserve having it's legacy written in the stars?

Lucilion watched as the vulture flipped through the pages of the book, landing on a page that had a fly shaped in the sky. He raised a non-existent eyebrow, feeling the urge to release a small bitter of laughter. However, he was at too much ease and didn't want to risk hurting Erin's feelings. He looked toward the sky with the vulture, who then made a joke about it himself. Lucilion cracked, a huge grin growing on his face. "Maybe, he was the most annoying fly that there was?" He laughed softly, thinking about the true possibilities afterward.

It was indeed a very funny suggestion, one that left a grin on Lucilion's expression even after a few minutes had passed. "Maybe! Who knows? He looked down at the book once more, attempting to read the black lines.
