He strayed from his parents' sides to find another group to join. Why? Well the answer is simple. He was bored. Probably not the best reason to leave your family, but he was a kid. He didn't make great decisions. But at least he left his family a note before he took off. So he was sort of responsible, right? Right. At least he thought so.

Eventually he was able to come across a scent marker, indicating a border of a clan. Instead of sitting his fluffy butt down he continued to walk straight into the territory, his peridot-hued oculars scanning the land for any sign of life. "HELLOOOO? I'm here to join you guys!" The brown tabby called out as he strolled further onto Windclan land.

"You're in, then. Welcome to WindClan," she mewed with a dip of her head. "My name's Victorykit. Anything I can do for you?"

    [b]"welcome to the clan,"
the ex-advisor chuckled, his coffee-brown eyes lit up. "i'm dan. if you need anything feel free to come to me." dan had certainly been here for a while now. but those he grew up with weren't. most were dead. most had left. but he was managing.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px;][justify]Duskpaw stepped beside Victorykit and examined the joining member. A kitten had journeyed here all alone? That blew Dusk's mind, especially because he and his family had nearly died on their way to WindClan. Kids in these groups seemed to be smarter, and more resilient. Back in CloudClan, if a kitten merely escaped the nursery their life was considered done for. Yet another odd thing to adjust to here in his new life. If anything, it all made the apprentice feel so far behind. He continued to watch the new kitten carefully, before finally choosing to say something. [b]"Where are you from, kid? Did you travel here alone?"

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 400px;][font=arial][justify][size=8]Wow, that was quick! And it was another kit like him greeting him! "Thank you. I'm Wrenkit, I probably should've introduced myself in the first place, heh. Oh uh, nah. I don't need anything, thanks though!" The boy said with a smile, a sniffle following his words as he tried to stop his soft pink nose from running. Huh, it was a little chilly outside, wasn't it? He probably should have brought a scarf with him. Whoops.

The brown tabby looked over at Dan and waved his short tail at him to greet the older male. "Will do, if I need anything." Wrenkit said with a friendly grin on his muzzle. The child's attention quickly switched to Duskpaw, who had caught his attention with a question. "Hm? Oh, I'm from uh, the Brotherhood, where my dad lives! My mom lives in Thunderclan though." He chirped, an almost sad tone in his voice in the last part.

The young tom had never thought about why his parents lived in different groups, and therefore never asked. Which he sort of regretted now, since he was curious now that it was brought up, but oh well. Maybe he'd see one of them again.
