Skylar felt her smile drop at the names she heard. It was the boys who helped Crash and Ace gang up on her coworkers. She shook the thoughts away not wanting to think about it knowing she would get mad. "Ok." She spoke emotionless after a minute.

"You ok?" Ace asked with a frown,he knew what she was thinking and he could tell by her reaction,or rather lack of,that she remembered the names and the event.

Skylar looked up at Ace and flashed him a fake smile she hoped would pass. "I'm fine." She spoke and looked back agead. Her eyes wandered as they walked into a more sketchy part of the city.

Ace sighed "Skylar....youre lying. Spit it out." He said plainly as he walked to a building and stopped walking. He would not move until Skylsr told him what was wrong as was his stubborn way.

Skylar groaned loudly and stopped with him. She turned and looked at him with annoyance. "It's nothing important Ace. I remember their names from when you are your little buddies tried to jump my coworkers and it made me mad but I am fine now." She spoke trying to keep calm.

Ace nodded "Alright..." He said plainly before continuing to walk into the building.

Skylar sighed and let his hand slip from hers. She walked close behind him and kept her eyes on her surrounds not being familiar with where she was.

Ace walked upstairs and knocked on a door that sat in the middle of a long hallway. The building was in horrible condition and practically crumbling however,it was still a semi-inhabitable place.
Crash opened the door and smiled tiredly at Ace "Hey...what's up?" He asked,he was surprised to see Ace at his doorstep.
"I came to ask a favor of you." Ace started plainly.
"Another one....? Alright what is it?" Crash asked as he yawned.
"Spy on Zephro and dont get caught. If you do then dont sing." Ace directed in a commanding way.
Crash nodded "Will do but what's in it for us?" He asked with a small grin.
"You get to stay in this gang...." Ace said plainly.
Crash chuckled nervously "Oh....i dig...." He said as he tried to play it off cooly.

Skylar looked between Ace and Crash for a moment. She looked back at Ace in surprise as his request. "Why do you need to spy on Zephro?" She asked confused. She didn't understand why that was needed since he was gone.

"Ive been hearing some chatter amongst my gang that there are traitors amonst us. Crash is going to spy on Zephro while Chase will spy on some suspicious memebers." Ace explained.

Skylar frowned at the information before nodding. She hated that people would go to Zephro after what he had done.

Crash nodded "We will start right away." He said with a small smile.
Ace nodded "Oh and before i go,you will both get paid after the job but the amount is going to be s surprise." He said plainly.
"Alright. Bye." Crash said before closing the door.
Ace looked at Skylar and gave a small smile "Let's go home."

Skylar sighed softly and nodded her head. She waved goodbye to Crash before slipping her hand into Ace's. She smiled softly at him and turned to walk with him.

Ace walked home with Skylar holding her hand the whole way home. He had nothing else to do that day,his errands were done and he was happy Skylar went eith him though she acted strangely.

Skylar was silent the entire way back. She was glad to get back to the house, her mind was too clouded with thoughts to focus on anything else.

Ace walked to the door and unlocked it before holding the door open for Skylar.

Skylar smiled and thanked Ace as she walked through the door. She walked to the couch and sat down with a sigh. "I can't believe that even after what happened with Liz and Rage that people are still going to him from the gang." She spoke after a moment in disbelief.

Ace sighed "Well some people think im soft and so they figure Zephro is a better and more worthy leader." He explained as he walked into the house.

Skylar rolled whe eyes and crossed her arms. "Well maybe you should show them your more scary side. We wouldn't have any traders to deal with." She spoke looking up at Ace. "Or I could be the mean one." She spoke with a smile. "I'm very good at it." Sky spoke with a smirk and confidence.

"I am too and they only know my authoritative and scary side but that doesnt stop them from thinking these things." Ace said plainly as he walked to the living room and sat down.
