You walk through a dark and eerie oak forest, the sun barely peeking through the slits between the treetops to light your way. [i]SNAP! The sound of a twig breaking under the weight baring on it, alerting you of another presence near. Leaves rustling above your hear causes you to look up and see the dark silhouette of another cat agilely leaping from branch to branch, a certain grace in their movement. You cast your gaze back down and see a dark lean cream tabby with broad shoulders and rippling muscles. Stammering on your words to explain to the tom that you aren’t looking for trouble, he merely flicks his tail to silence you in your banter “I am ViperStar, leader of WebClan.” He mewes, his voice deep and captivating. Two more cats appear beside him, the mottled silver tom speaks first “I am GreyTalon, deputy of WebClan” he says with an edge to his tone, almost daring you to cower to him. Finally the intimidating presence of both toms are diffused by a beautiful pale ginger and grey calico she-cat, her hazel optics soft and kind “I am SpottedBerry, medicine cat of WebClan. You are welcome here” she says to you, padding up to walk beside you as you are escorted into these cat’s camp. | WebClan’s territory is made up of numerous types of trees varying from oak, beech, aspen, birch, and hickory. The dense treetops cover the ground with a sheet of darkness with small slits of sunlight peeking through as the leaves cluster together tightly to block out the sun. Various thickets of brambles, small clumps of bracken and ferns, and patches of grass where the sun breaks through the treetops. Vast types of insects and spiders live in this territory, leaving behind thick webs and nests to find. » Camp » WebClan’s camp is in an open clearing, with full view of the sun, opposed to the rest of their territory. A woven bramble wall surrounds the camp, as well as makes up the warrior, apprentice, and elders den. The medicine den is a hollowed out oak tree that has a bramble den-like extension to it that connects to the opening, to give it more room for storage and patients. » Lizard Rocks » Lizard Rocks is a cluster of flat boulders that take up a part of camp. Cats usually lay on these rocks to sun themselves or catch a quick meal when it pops out of the cracks. But beware, adders like to hide in the crevices and aren’t too happy when a cat comes near. » Sun Ledge » Sun Ledge is a single slanted rock that juts out of the ground and points upward slightly. This is where the leader stands when he conducts clan meetings. » Moon Tree » The Moon Tree is a large oak that stands alone in the open moor that has an underground passage that leads to the pool where cats communicate with StarClan. It is a half days travel to reach the Moon Tree, where medicine cats go to meet with StarClan. Deputies go to receive their lives and apprentices go when they are nearing the end of their apprenticeship. » Training/Hunting Area » All apprentices and warriors hunt and train on the sandy terrain of the hunting grounds, having rough land to learn to be accurate and work out tactics that can later be tried in other areas.
