'' I haven't even heard of half of these things, I may have been a lot of places but I ate mission rations and chakra pills '' Kiyoko muttered looking at her own menu

Sotaru paid no attention to her comment, he was trying to decide what to get. A few minutes after, a waiter came by and took their orders. While waiting for their food, Sotaru tried to ease a growing silence. "So, when did you first want to become a ninja?"

'' I never wanted to be anything other than a ninja and when I got older I saw being a ninja was the only ting I was good at so I just stuck with that '' Kiyoko replied

Sotaru smiled. "Same here. Say, what was your first A ranked mission?"

'' I was seven and assigned to deliver a document, many enemy ninja were after it so it wasn't easy. As I was handing it off the person I was hired by it was taken, so I went after it. It wasn't part of my mission but I still felt the need to retrieve it and get it where it belonged. I let the enemy get under my skin and it was the first time I killed out of cold blood. After that the Anbu got ahold of me and everything changed '' Kiyoko said

Sotaru smiled. "Neat," The waiter by then had delivered their food. "Say, what did you get? I got the spicy roast salmon."

'' I got the Sukiyaki, it looked good '' Kiyoko said looking at Sotaru . '' so Sotaru, you older now and not bad looking, plus your an amazing ninja, so why don't you have a girlfriend or do you like someone but can't ask them out you '' she asked sipping her sake

Sotaru blushed. "U-U-Uh, w-well kinda. It would j-just be awkward if I asked her out."

'' why would it be awkward, if ya like her just go for it '' Kiyoko said, it was odd she was asking them this. She herself didn't have a boyfriends but that being said she wasn't trying either. Sure Kiyoko wanted one but she couldn't afford to let someone in unless she was positive they wouldn't leave her when things got tough. So far that wasn't happening and she had mostly given up and focused more on avoiding getting a boyfriend and scaring off potential ones

Sotaru blushed more. "W-Well I already know her, and we've been friends since the Academy, and I'd p-probably just get turned down." He took a bite of his food to try and calm himself down.

Kiyoko somehow was eating yet keeping her face covered at the same times, putting her chopsticks down she tried to think of the girls in Sotaru's academy class. '' ohh it is Akio, she's not a very good ninja but she's pretty and would make a good wife plus she an amazing cook '' she said

Sotaru quickly shook his head. "N-Nope. I-I've been on tons of missions with her, but our relationship is merely friendship."

'' ummm, Ai, Kanon, oh or is it Junko '' Kiyoko guessed saying the names of the females close to there age

Sotaru shook his head. "Nah, nevermind. Anyway, it was neither of them." Sotaru finished the last bite of his salmon.

'' come on tell me '' Kiyoko said placing her chopsticks down because she was finished

Sotaru's face became redder. "Its, uh... Well, it's you."

Kiyoko's face became red and subconsciously pulled her mask up to cover her blush. She liked Sotaru a lot, he was strong, a ninja and capable to take care of her and she trusted him. Kiyoko tried to speak but nothing came out, she just sat there blushing

"I-It's okay if y-you don't feel the same way, I'd understand..." Sotaru said quickly and in a mumble.

Kiyoko lunged across the table, yanking her mask down she slammed her lip onto his. She pulled away and had her mask back up before he could see anything '' I think I have made myself clear '' Kiyoko said standing up and exiting the restaurant

Sotaru's face went front be right red to dark red. He smiled as he followed her out, remembering that this was prepared so there was no need for payment up front. "Y-Yeah. Loud and clear!"
