The expression of the tom was held a sliver of guilt, although such an expression was surely masked by the appearance of the face. For the tom was severely disfigured, with scarring than ran from his throat, past his maw and eye, to the tattered remnants of a dark ear. The gaze was a piercing yellow and scanned the surroundings incessantly.

    He was waiting for someone.

Several days ago now, the black and white tom had sent a message via one very helpful bird, requesting that someone meet him here at sunhigh. It was almost sunhigh now, and he was anxious that his... that this other tom meet him on time. He'd only just learned of his very existence - although he should have expected this - and had been pleased to learn that this tom was in a Clan. He'd had no such luck finding this male's siblings, unaware as he was as to who they shared their loyalties with.

The bicoloured feline shifted and examined the territory around him, letting out a regretful sigh for his past actions.
