• Feeling the ground shake slightly the Parksosaurus looked up, her eyes trailing behind her until she seen the large Tyrannosaurus from before, eyes widening a bit. She then looked over at the herd, why weren't they panicking? She sure was panicking, on the inside at least. Gulping again, she watched the large Dinosaur closely, slowing down a bit until she was a meter or so away from their foot, and gazed at them. A dinosaur this size fascinated her, but she soon felt the tinge of fear start burning under her hide, causing her to start lowering to the ground and grit her teeth. Dottie then stared at the carcass, a strange look on her face.

  • Asteel
Liming alongside the Parksosaurus, I let my head hang in utter defeat. I was starting to get the sinking feeling that I'd never seem my brother again. Feeling Sora hop around on top my head, I couldn't help but wonder what had her jumpy. "Steely, Steely. I think. I think I see another Nemicolopterus, but I am not going near that Rex." She seemed stuck inbetween going to see for herself and her survival instincts telling her to stay away. I said nothing though, just stared at her, eyes wondering what she wanted me to do. "Please?" Does she want me to turn around to talk to the carnivore?! I guffed and ignored her request. "Please?" She said again, hoping around this way and that. "Please?" I tried my hardest to drawn her out, bussing myself with helping a young mother with her young. "Please Steely, please?" I sighed after ten consecutive minutes of this stubborn Nemicolopterus: pestering and stopped, waiting for the Rex to get near. "Hello there!" Sora chirped a tad nervously. "Would you happen to have a companion with you?" She asked, I keeping a safe distance between us.

  • Well, most of the characters are following an Iguanodon herd to the summer grounds in the north (I might have Berrix and his herd join in later on, or the Iguanodons can bump into the Pachyrhinosaurs), but other than that, not much has happened.

    Will reply later at lunch.

    MTUNZA

I blinked, not exactly registering who was speaking, especially since someone was addressing me and/or Nemi. The only one I assumed to talking was either a) the Iguanodon in front of us, or b) the Nemicolopterus that was on top of that Iguanodon's head. I decided that Suspect B was more logical, since the herbivores never had anyhthing to do with us, unless I came too close. Then they had a problem. The question concerned a companion, however, which hinted it referred to Nemi. "I think she means you, bud," I told my comrade, who just squawked and flew away from his perch to hover in between me and the female Iguanodon. "Uh, can we help you?"

  • Sora
My beak dropped open at the male Nemicolopterus. And not just any male. This male, something about him was familiar. I clacked my beak shut, saying something inhorehrent when my Iguanodon partner suddenly jolted her head upwards for me to move and talk to the male. I shook my head, flapping my wings before taking flight to meet the other Nemicolopterus in the air. "Pleased to meet another Nemicolopterus in this time. I feared I was the last one." I said crisply as I hovered in front of him, still unable to figure out why he looked and sounded familiar. I even got this weird feeling in my chest like I was reunted with a mate, or love interest, without even knowing it. Maybe he was from my home flock and that was why my instincts were excited?

This is a bitter sweet renion between these two. I am gonna cry xD that and the sun is shining directly into my eyes.

    NEMI

"Well, it's not exactly the sort of time you see pterosaurs like ourselves flying around," I joked casually, frowning when I heard Mtunza say something under his breath with a snicker. "Hey, shut up! I'm trying to make decent conversation, and your not helping," I squawked in annoyance, but all that succeeded in making him laugh harder. I swear if his jaws open any wider, that Edmontosaurus is going to come down hard on his feet. Then again, he'd probably deserve it for not paying attention. He could argue as much as he want, but I was technically the brains of this duo. Not saying that he didn't provide his own benefits, but he wouldn't be anywhere without me (and frankly, I wouldn't be anywhere without him, but I'm not admitting that out loud). "So, uh, this is my friend Mtunza," I said finally, not bothering to translate my speech since I assumed the Iguanodon understood me perfectly. "He won't eat any of you, so no need to worry. We only scavenge or fish if we get the chance."

  • Sora
I laughed softly at his joke, nodding in agreement. "Very true." I eyed the carnivore behind the male in front of me when the creature started laughing. Why exactly was he laughing? Blinking, I turned my head to Asteel who visibly calmed at hearing that this Rex, whose named we just learned was Mtunza, wouldn't eat us. Not that I provided to be much of a meal anyways with my size. "Nice to meet you, Mtunza," I chirped politely, nodding eargarly. "Sora, the herd looks like they are taking a rest
" Asteel said briefly and I looked at the Iquanodon herd to see that what she said was true. "We best do the same." My partner continued. I glanced at the Nemicolopterus in front of me then at Asteel as she walked off. "Okay Asteel, I'll be over in a second." I replied, knowing very well with the nod of her head she had some smartalic thought run through it. I looked back at the tiny male pterus in front of me after watching where Asteel had gone to settle down for the night. "I am Sora, pleased to meet you.." Letting the sentence trail off because he never told me his name, my break clacked together ever so softy as I closed my mouth to stop from talking nonsense.

Just imagine not remembering your best friend and basically the one you were kinda like mared to. Just imagine. Why do we do these things to Nemi and Sora? All they wanted is a peaceful life, with their own young and OMFG I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEIR BABIE THEY WILL BE SO FREAKING DLADORABLE

  • We should wait for the others to start posting also. I don't want to flood.

Oh, btw, because I love dinosaurs so much, I was looking up videos that could potentially tie into this, and boy did I hit the jackpot!

  • I'm just waiting to get interacted with. -3-
And I believe the others aren't posting because we sort of abandoned them, so my suggestion for them is to get to the herd. That's my suggestion.

  • I like that suggestion. That's actually what I was going for after Gir's last post, just to get things going a bit.

Dreamcatcher, think you can get Valentina involved any time soon when that happens?

  • Well, wasnt that convenient! Berrix and his herd will appear soon anyway, so it was actually quite fortuitous. I'll think of a post that will get everyone involved, and then we can proceed. In the meantime...

    NEMI

"Sora..." I repeated to myself, one part of my brain attempting to affiliate it with something that I felt was familiar, the other making sure I didn't stop flapping my wings in the process. Unfortunately, I failed to make any connection, and clacked my beak sharply in defeat. "Well, its nice to meet you as well. I'm Nemi, in case I didn't give my name. Glad to see I'm not the only flier around here either. One that's my size, that is."

"Uh, Nemi, are you done yet? We're approximately five minutes past dinner, and my belly is half full, which means its half empty," Mtunza grumbled, getting tired of hanging onto the Edmontosaurus corpse while waiting for me to end the conversation. I sighed in exasperation, knowing that my Tyrannosaurus Rex partner and his stomach could not be denied meat for very long. "I better go. Mtunza gets cranky when his hunger needs are not met," I squawked apologetically, screeching a goodbye before flying back over to the forest green Rex, who audibly snorted when I returned to my perch. "Keep an eye out for that raptor. Where there's one, there's usually more around," Mtunza growled. "Oh, and that Parkso better stop shaking so much, before she shakes all her scales off."

  • Sora
I nodded at his name, it seemed a little obvious. He was a Nemicolopterus after all. Watching my newly found friend leave when his Rex partner whined about being hungry, I nodded a farewell and took my leave to where Asteel was resting. "His name is Nemi," Her head lifted up at the sound of that. She seemed to remember something that I didn't, something that I should have. ,xNemi? As in the same Nemi you we friends with as young, the same Nemi you traveled with before meeting me?" The Iguanodon said it wise, suspicious eyes. I landed on my perch on top.her head, clacking NY beak together in a failed attempted to find something to say. I busied myself by eating nearby inscents. What she said made sense, and something about him did seem familiar. I just couldn't make the connection as to what, and judging by Asteel's attitude she wasn't going to let this topic end so lightly.
