    By the time Blackfrost came to the river, all the tiredness was gone except for the slightest bit. He sat down at the edge of the bank farthest from the river. He looked behind him at Rainbreeze and smiled (well, as far as a smile goes for a cat). Whenever he looked at her, he felt warm and fuzzy.

    Blackfrost sat there with Rainbreeze for a few minutes, watching the almost clear river swirling past. All of a sudden, Blackfrostgot a feeling that felt uncomfortable, uneasy, and itchy. He shifted uncomfortably. It felt like ants swarming up his pelt. He also felt like he was being watched. He looked over his shoulder and his jaw dropped. "Don't... move...," he told Rainbreeze. He might sound bossy, but he didn't want him to see her face. Blackfrost was staring at one of his former recruits, Bloodscar. He got up slowly and walked over to the shimmering image. "What are you doing here!?" he whispered. Bloodscar's eyes were wide and he looked surprised. Suddenly, there was a splash. Blackfrost's head whipped around and he saw a kit struggling in the river, drowning. He bolted towards the helpless creature. "WE'LL TALK LATER!" Blackfrost yelled over his shoulder. He dived into the river and swam towards the kit. He grabbed the kit by the scruff and dragged it out of the river. He looked up, and the vision of Bloodscar was gone.

    "Yah! Thank you, mister!" squealed the little kit. Blackfrost looked at the kit warmly. "Your welcome," he answered kindly. He grew a blank expression and looked off at the spot Bloodscar had been.

    Blackfrost looked down at the kit. "What's your name?" he asked. "Dragonkit!" the kit answered. Blackfrost's eyes gleamed. The gleam disappeared. He looked at Rainbreeze. "I need to tell you something. Something very important," Blackfrost meowed.

    "I'm going after him," Blackfrost mewed,his voice suddenly firm. He was sure now. He was supposed to find Bloodscar and.... He was drawing a blank. Blackfrost didn't know what he had to do after he found his former Clanmate.

    "I'll come, too!" squeaked Dragonkit. Blackfrost smiled at the both of them. "Thank you, but aren't you in a Clan?" Blackfrost asked the kit. "Yeah, but I wandered out of camp and got lost. I want to come with you, though. Maybe I'll find ThunderClan on the way," Dragonkit told him. Blackfrost stiffened. ThunderClan. The Clan he had hated so much. His old urge came back and he had the sudden urge to kill this kit. Blackfrost shook it off. He could resist. "Alright, you can come. But your Clan puts you in peril. You have to be careful," he told him. "I will," the kit squeaked. "I'm going to talk to StarClan," Blackfrost grunted. He curled up and went to sleep.
