[font=grabiola][size=10][color=#D18EFF] A cloudy morning. Dazed eyes blinking, a young girl by the name of Skylar had just woken up- naturally, of course, as she hated being startled from her sleep with alarm clocks.

After remaining in her bed, sitting and doing absolutely nothing, it clicked. Today would be the day she would begin her journey around Kalos. The truth was, she didn't even want to in the first place. But after her father and sister pressed her to do so, she couldn't help but agree. They were right, really. Being as antisocial as she was couldn't be healthy.

Reluctantly, with a pit in her stomach, she forced herself onto her feet and began to descend down the stairs. She quietly got herself some breakfast as the rest of her household was still asleep, then began to prepare.

Skylar sighed while frowning as she began to write a note. It would be easier to leave without saying goodbye face to face- she would feel tempted to stay home. So shoving her bag over her shoulder, she went outside- blinded for a moment by the light. Waving to her neighbor, Grace- the famour Rhyhorn racer, she took in a deep breath. Here goes.
