[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; border: 0px solid black; font-family: arial; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; color: #ffccff; font-size: 11px; width: 400px;]Omg...thanks guys. Well, It's just that stress has been pretty intensive lately. I need to get my grades up in school, my math teacher literally has become an anxiety trigger, and I feel like asking for help is my way of being an absolute bother that nobody wants to deal with yet everyone has to deal with because they don't want to be rude or mean or anything and my anxiety pills aren't working too well since I can never continuously take them due to me moving around houses so much. so yeah. that's a sort of summary.

  • I hate math. I used to struggle in it so bad. And I refused to ask for help at the same time. When I told my friend how I was struggling, she was hurt because math is her best subject and asked why I didn't ask for help. I hate being a bother. I don't like asking for help because I think I can do everything myself. I learned though, that asking for help from a close friend who can help tutor you in math is the best thing ever. I learned so much from her. If you have a friend that's good in the subject, I would ask them, but make sure that they aren't incredibly busy. They should understand. Also, the teachers are there for a reason. Does your school have like tutor sessions for your math class? I know the schools that I went to did. You can do this buddy though, I believe in you! You've been able to make it this far, so just continue to do your best!

I've moved to 6 different places within the past two years alone, and the threat of moving again soon. I also have to worry about my exposure of my FtM status to my family as well, given that they don't exactly appreciate me being "gay" either. So I can sympathize with the stress and anxiety you have. However! It's time for me to be cliche and to tell you that you can get through all this, even if you think that you can't! As Sorrel mentioned, we believe in you, and that you can do it. Just believe in yourself, and the awkward dark grey skies above will lighten up at some point. They always do <3

  • i can understand that. i had a few teachers like that that in middle school, and my algebra teacher right now is pretty...unhelpful. (luckily i'm not so bad at algebra.) although, every single time i've had a teacher like that in a subject i struggled in, i did go to them for tutoring at least once, despite it being quite stressful and making myself extremely anxious. each time, though, despite it feeling unpleasant, it did help. although, there are others ways you can get extra help. like sorrel said where if you can find a friend who's good at the subject, or there's even online lessons about what you're learning that you can look up.

  • This is the reason why I hate the high school system and how everything is laid out. They only do it for getting people through school and not making enjoyable, which is why they hire teachers that don't even care about the kids that they are teaching them. I would go to the tutoring sessions, but that's only if you can make it on time. There are also several online resources, and if you need help, you can even ask me for help on math even though I haven't done it in like two months, but I could also get my friend to assist you if I can't since she's a bomb when it comes to math. People won't judge you for going to the tutoring sessions, because that's what they are there for is to assist people that have difficulty learning certain topics. And are the tutoring sessions run by regular students or teachers?

You're the best and i'm literally tearing up with how helpful and kind you guys are beingggg. And to answer Sorrel's question: Tutoring sessions are run by teachers, so they're only done when teachers are available after school since a lot of meetings happen at my school and stuff.

BUT JUST aaaaaaaa i'm feeling better already you guys are great.

  • SPREAD ALL THE LOVE BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT YOU AMAZING PERSON
And alright, so its ran by teachers. That is still pretty helpful even if its aren't students. Students are usually the best because they know what you're going through at the same time. I would schedule at least one tutoring session, and see how you like it. If you don't like it, and it creates a lot of negative emotions inside of you, you won't have to go again. You can try other resources instead, like me, or even online sources like previously stated <3
