Cyrus saw Amarian, and sighed from under his helmet. He wanted to take it off, but he didn't want everyone to see his face. He glanced at Avda, who's creepy eyes stared at him. "If you don't mind, I don't like people staring at me. Exceptionally people with eyes of a demon." He shook his head, then stared back at Amarian. He heard a small chuckle, well a chuckle for Kaz, but sounded more of a cough.

  • K.C. stared at the raiders judging them. The ones who only eyed the gold would most likely betray him if someone offered a higher price. Those would be the first to die. The ones who eyed their weapons might have jest been wanting to kill, they might be more skilled than the ones wanting money. The others who were eyeing him instead were the smartest. Why accept a stranger's offer who they did not know? K.C. did just walk into camp. He listened to them talk between themselves as he retrieved the bag. "It is a limited offer. If you deny it, there will be others more willing to accept."
Podrick narrowed his eyes at Adva. "Go on and send the person." He told the private.

[color=midnightblue] Adva rolled her eyes sarcastically, giving a swift glance at Amarian, signaling that she was headed out. A demon? Obviously I'm a Reaper, I've been here since I was like eleven... Honestly, what happened with him? She exited the area, luxurious black strands of hair occasionally blowing into her face, which was slightly annoying. "Gosh, who put trash in his food?" Adva muttered, half to herself. "He's been talking trash lately."

Cyrus stepped inside the lab. He stared at Podrick, who he rarely ever spoke to at his time at the outpost. He crossed his arms, and leaned against the wall causally. "I don't believe I asked to speak with you" he said calmly, but irritatedly. He hated being here, it made him quite uncomfortable. He glanced at Kaz, who was staring at all of the technology in the room. He could tell he was excited.

    [/fancypost]

  • "Then why are you in my room? I have plans-who is the foreigner?" Podrick asked as he turned his head to Kaz. "Interesting to see a sentient species I have not known of. Let alone see." The scientist quickly got off topic seeing the alien. "Back to what I was saying. If you dn't want to be here, why are you here?"
Ray was headed to the lab to see Cyrus go into the lab. Damn! He best not tell! No one will suspect me. She turned her head watching the Private. It took her a few seconds to realize this was someone the real Ray knew. "Private Di Angelo."

[color=midnightblue] Perking her head to see "Ray," Adva blinked. "Yeah, do you need anything?" She mentally frowned, obviously knowing Ray often called her by her first name, but shrugged the thought off. "I can't leave the Outpost though, if you're asking me to go out to do some expedition."

    [/fancypost]

  • "What, you think I'm weak? Ha, I'm not listening to scum like you. Go on ahead if you want though, shoot me, I'm a valuable General of the Outpost, Taiga Dee Laytner. I can take a bullet, Ex-Commander." The man, who was known as Taiga said as he large iron fist began to clasp around the gun tightly, almost as if he was going to crush it. Metal against metal, man versus man, he had only one shot at doing this the easy way. Well, hopefully the Commander wouldn't find out, or Niko, or Alyce, or even jerkwad Daisuke, or that weird Orion kid, basically anyone else. And besides, it's not like the guy was gonna fire, unless he was THAT dumb!

Daisuke quickly began to throw off his armor, stretching as his special skin tight, modified body suit stretched with his movements. "Tch, why do I always have to wear this stupid thing... CAN'T THAT SCIENTIST INVENT NORMAL CLOTHING?!" he yelled, pulling at the stretchy, black and green material. He did seem a bit stressed out, the tanned male pacing around. "Hopefully our pregnnat Commander doesn't find out about his disappearing, or ALYCE! And don't get me started on Niko's freak out!" He told Orion, Tort just happily licking Orion's face like a little puppy of sorts. The gelatinous creature was like a puppy mentally, but no one really knew what he was. Daisuke just brought him there to the Outpost and since then, he's just been there.

Cyrus stared at Podrick "I can to speak with the Commander, and I'm not a dumb@ss, Avda took me here. So if I may, let me get to my business, so I can get the hell out of the tin can."

Kaz studied the man Cyrus called Podrick "My name is Kaz, maybe you..." Cyrus cut him off, and placed his arm in front of him to make sure he didn't step closer "He's not our friend right now Kaz." Kaz sighed and glanced up at the man "well can I talk with him while you talk to the commander? I'm really interested in this stuff." He said studying the room again, as Cyrus sighed. He knew that was a reluctant yes, as he pulled his arm away.

    [/fancypost]

  • "Oh no, just greeting you one could say. If you are busy I won't keep you." She replied and turned towards the lab. Ray frowned seeing Cyrus but did her best to not be seen by him. She leaned on the wall trying to listen to the conversation.
Podrick was visually disappointed to be unable to speak with someone he thought was a scientist, especially one from a different species. One thing he agreed on was he was not friends with North, he never really spoke to the man.
Deadrot stared into the eyes of the tall man. His face was covered but if it wasn't Taiga would see he was not scared. Deadrot boosted up into the air and his spider legs sprang out. He fired his gun hitting the man in his shoulder before running towards the water tower.

Kaz watched Cyrus disappear down the hallway, as he looked back excitedly at Podrick. "So, do you think you might be able to see what I am? It'd a long story, but I was brainwashed, so I don't know a lot. And for some reason, I know a lot about technology." He said and lifted his arm up to display the teleporter. He found it useful, but it was stuck to his arm. His guess was that his captors locked it onto him.
Cyrus walked down the halls, searching for Amarian. He stopped as he spotted her in the kitchen. He knocked on the outside of the door. "Can we talk?"

    [/fancypost]

  • "I have no idea what you are, and that may be a mystery you cannot solve. The decision is up to you though: try to find an answer you may not be able to find, or find answers you know you can find. I was not born with a mystery about me. Instead I searched for things to solve that may matter to someone who could find a reason to use what I found." Podrick explained as he walked around touching some of his creations. "So what is that machine on your arm?"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=#D1D0CE; bordercolor=#4C4646; borderwidth=3px;]

    [fancyimage]https://usatlife.files.wordpre…ao5o1_540.gif?w=700&h=290[/fancyimage]

Kaz looked down at the teleporter "it's a teleporter, I'm not sure of its full capabilities, but it's attached to my arm. I can't take it off, it's impossible. But I can only operate it a little bit." He said glancing at the creation Podrick was looking at.

    [/fancypost]

  • Podrick glanced back to his own creation. He was worrying if the facility experienced a power outage for a long time, it would cause problems. He was working on a larger generator that could store enough power that could be used for a few rooms. Next to it was a generator for his room. On the left side were inventions that not all were related. On the right however was inventions related to medical sciences. "Do you know if this teleporter could have information about when it was first used? About all the locations it has visited?"

[color=midnightblue] Well that was a bit... Odd. Adva walked away, carefully treading to keep her from falling face first into the ground. She had done that a couple times or so, and it didn't exactly feel pleasant. Her fake leg kicked the dust up behind her as she began making her way to practice shooting with Argus's FN 57 pistol mode.

Kaz shook his head and lifted his wrist. "It said when it did a bio scan on me that I was its first user. My guess is that once they stuck it on me, it became apart of me. I do have a theory; possibly my captors were my own people. Because why else would someone give me a teleporter? And if you don't know what I am, then that means their isn't many of my kind."

    [/fancypost]

  • Void hummed happily from his position on Adva's shoulder. The alien AI was grinning foolishly beneath his helmet, preferring to stay quiet as he listened to the people around him.

Orion smiled, leaning back into a supply crate Bon had nudged over for them to sit on.
"I don't see what you're worrying about. Sure, Niko will probably destroy Ianus to find Taiga, but Alyce and Amarian will just kick his butt during sim. training as punishment," he replied simply.

Amarian made a "Come on over" hand motion to Cyrus. The woman had her feet propped up on the table, and her armor suit had been removed down to her waist - revealing a silvery blue shirt. The remains of what used to be the kitchen's food supply were scattered about on the table and the bench opposite of her's.
"Well, I didn't think I'd be seeing you anytime soon, Dearest North."

    //I promise my next post will be longer with more detail. I'm not using my own devices currently, so it's hard for me to type ;-;

  • "Or maybe you were transported to a place where your people do not visit. There could be many reasons why they got rid of you. Maybe you murdered millions, possibly have knowledge that they had to get rid of you, many reasons, but no need to go down an infinite list." He replied. "I may not be the best one to ask. I have met different species, some I do keep in contact still for scientific purposes. You may want to find someone who has explored this galaxy far and wide to see if they have met your kind. Seeing that you have knowledge of technology more than people here, I assume, you may know something about an invention. Something very important."

Cyrus nodded, and stepped into the room, and shut the door. He didn't want people hearing their conversation. He removed his helemt, and set it on the table. "So, i can see your hybernating soon?" He said sarcastically as he glanced around at all the food trash. He could tell she was finally feeling the effects of her pregnancy. He was concerned for her, but he knew she'd get mad if he said anything.
Kaz nodded "how am I supposed to do that? I don't know anybody besides Cyrus. And I highly doubt he knows people like that!" He sighed, his whole world was a mess right now. He looked up at Podrick, his eyes showing how affected he was. He slammed his wrist on the table, the metal making a loud sound. He was angry with himself, and sad. He wasn't sure what to believe, or what to do.

    [/fancypost]

  • "Do not rely to much on others I suggest. Could just be my bad luck with others, but most people here I do not trust, especially him. As I said it is mostly because I have had bad luck with many people. Do you know when-how long have you been in this situation? Can you pinpoint near the year when you got into this state?" Podrick rephrased himself trying not to confuse the man. He did not blame the man for being angry. The sense of not knowing anything about who you were, what you really are, was a terrible thing.

  • Void flinched a bit, listening to the sounds of chiming and shouts and scuffling. Also gunshots, lots and lots of gunshots.
"Private Adva, might I ask what exactly you wish to do?" he asked in a very, very quiet voice. Much softer than usual, or when he was even talking to Glaze -which was like a thrumming murmur to some people. The said AI then appeared behind Void, startling him as she tackled the twin off of Adva's shoulder and onto the dusty, cold ground. Glaze started to throw a few objects, while Void pretended to deflect them with a digitalized plate. The two then played simulation, chasing after Adva and latching onto her feet -although no pressure was ever able to be felt due to them being holograms.

Amarian huffed, removing her feet from the table and tidying up the space briefly.
"I would prefer hibernation over pregnancy, thank you very much," she replied with a teasing grin. The woman patted at her stomach, a decent bump there now that her armor wasn't hiding it all away. She probably should have been more visible for five months, but the Outpost had its dietary restrictions.
"So how have you been? I hear you have a new buddy to go around with now, if what Glaze is telling me is true," she stated, tilting her head and looking up at him as she tapped the helmet resting against her hip.
