  • [color=lightblue][size=10px][font=georgia]well, he hadn't expected to be back here again...alive too. it was going to be different this time though. he wouldn't be caught unawares again, not anymore. the son of breakdance stood on the border in a slightly hesitant manner, as if considering turning back. he didn't know if anyone would still be there but he hoped to the gods his mother was still hanging around. she was a stubborn one, that was for sure, and jan didn't know what he would do if she wasn't still there.

steeling himself mentally, the feline took a calming breath before speaking. [color=white]hello? my name's januaryromance, and i'm here to join. it had taken him long enough to get back so he wasn't wasting any time now.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=; border: 0px black; border-radius: 0px; bgcolor=transparent; width: 300px; auto;][justify][size=7pt][color=#9BB8F0]Januaryromance. The irony was, that he had come four days late, no romance for him. Though, that would have only been a statement spoken by Icebreaker had she had a sense of humour, or a fair concept of romance. Whilst she knew what it was, she simply couldn't feel it, nor comprehend how people got themselves tangled and drowned in the concept.

"Welcome." Unfortunately for the individual, Icebreaker's tone was monotonous - not particularly hostile, nor did it withhold any warmth. It was simply.. Empty. As were her eyes, and her expression. "Icebreaker Xerses." The snow leopard would purse her chapped lips shortly afterwards, before giving a brisk nod of her head.

  • [color=lightblue][font=georgia][size=10px]if she had cracked the joke, jan probably would have laughed. he'd heard jokes similar to it before and to be perfectly honest? he didn't give two *s. a joke was a joke, even if it was held at his expense. [color=white]thank you, icebreaker. it's nice to meet you too. he replied smoothly with a smile. even if they weren't particularly friendly, the niceties were ingrained in his mind. he had been taught politeness and would continue to be courteous and friendly. it didn't hurt anyone after all. [color=white]there wouldn't happen to be a breakdance here would there? he asked as an afterthought. it was best to see now instead of keeping his hopes up unnecessarily. it wouldn't do him any good to wait for someone who was never going to come after all.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=; border: 0px black; border-radius: 0px; bgcolor=transparent; width: 300px; auto;][justify][size=7pt][color=#9BB8F0]Icebreaker blinked at his gratitude, still unused to such a form of.. Words, altogether. Though, it likely held little to no gravity, it was still.. Odd. Maybe had she been capable of it, she would have smiled. For now, however, her expression remained stolid, and she'd simply nod her head in response. Soon following this exchange, after all, the other had asked about Breakdance, a name that was somewhat difficult to miss, around these parts. "There is. She should be here in a moment." The femme paused for a few moments. "Another child of her bloodline?"

  • [color=lightblue][font=georgia][size=10px]hmm...still straight faced was she? oh well, he'd have to make her smile at some point. his new goal of sorts, he supposed. the alabaster feline almost had a giddy fit of relief at ice's next statement. the old mother hen was still kicking then, that was the best news he'd heard all day. his mother was alive and well...oh he couldn't wait to give her a hug for old times sake. and the next comment? that nearly made him laugh. another of her bloodline, huh? it seemed his mother still couldn't stop having kids then... [color=white]you could say that i suppose...there's enough of us. i was part of her first lot. january replied with a slight smirk. it seemed the infamy of break's batallion of children never changed...

"Hmm...? Mom is here, yup! I have another brother?" Aquarius would ask the male, curious and excited. It made her happy, to have so many siblings. She barely knew them all, and she could take the time to get to know each one. "I'm Aquarius. Nice to meet you, Jan!" she said with a smile.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 10pt; line-height:95%; text-align: justify][font=georgia]He had disappeared like dust in the wind. At some points, the former Empress stopped hoping, knowing that there was no use to getting her hopes up as a fixed heart was prone to breaking. Why go through the same pain again?

Yet it was evident that the Gods were good to her; she was alive and well, her clan was being restored to it's prime time, and she was surrounded by family and close friends. The sun was beginning to poke out from the storm clouds again. Because here her son was, tangible, real, not a sick trick of her once-lost sanity. The scarred form of the lupiness stared at the clouded leopard with volcanic visionaries, tears threatening to flood her lashes. And that's what Breakdance tried to do: not cry. In her entire time of existing, she hid her emotions behind a mask of hostility. She didn't open up to anyone, for people came and went, usually at the worst of times. If anything, she would much rather suppress her troubles and suck it up, no matter how tough it got. "It's good to see you back" stated the familiar voice of Break as she sauntered over, cracking a faint smile. Ah, who was she kidding? The wolf practically charged over to choke Januaryromance in the tightest hug possible, showering him with kisses. "Aquarius and Icebreaker get your butts over here!" she spoke with a large grin, utter joy lacing her tone when she invited the duo into the hug.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=; border: 0px black; border-radius: 0px; bgcolor=transparent; width: 300px; auto;][justify][size=7pt][color=#9BB8F0]There certainly did happen to be plenty of them, she supposed. Though, the creation of the next generation was somewhat necessary. Icebreaker had never considered intercourse as a vulgar deed anyhow, it was simple a process, in her mind. "One of the first.." The snow leopard breathed, echoing what he had said. One of the first.. She wondered what that was like, to be one of the first. Her own situations were somewhat different, compared to January's, it seemed. Whilst he had been birthed as a child, she had been.. Inserted into a body. No, it made little sense, even to her. She felt no kindled experience or purpose, yet there was intellect and innovation. She felt no emotion, only questions. However, she was not the first of her individual-specimen. Though, that tale tended to be for another thread.

As Breakdance and another of her children came along, Icebreaker stepped slightly aside, observing with her empty gaze, and awaiting for the affection to proceed between the family. And it played out as she had assumed it would, that is, until Break suggested for Ice and Aquarius to join in. Of course, the snow leopard could comprehend why a mother would invite her child into a family-hug, but she couldn't quite.. Grip as to why.. Her name had also been mentioned..

She paused, lips parting, as her orbs widened subtly. "I.." Of course, the hollowed-soul was hesitant, though eventually, she'd give a slight nod. "Okay." Had that been an.. Order? Icebreaker didn't understand. Icebreaker didn't understand at all - but she joined in anyhow, even if she could feel something very close to nothing, at the moment, except a subtle presence at the bottom of her empty-chest; one that she couldn't quite identify.

  • [font=georgia][size=12px][color=lightblue]his gaze then turned towards the little munchkin who announced herself as...a sister? oh gods, it appeared his mother had been busy again. he gave the kitten a warm smile of greeting as she introduced herself. [color=white]hey, it's nice to meet you too. i guess i am your brother, it's nice to have some siblings around again. he spoke in reply before turning towards a familiar scarred figure and breaking out into a massive grin. jan let out an [color=white]oof! as she pulled him into a bonebreaking hug and returned it with one of his own. he'd missed her, hugs and all. [color=white]missed you too, momma bear. he laughed softly, letting her have her own way for once. he hadn't seen her in ages so he figured he'd let her off this time. family hugs were the best, even with random strangers invited too. it just made them all the more special.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; border: 0px; width: 400px;text-align: justify;][size=8] "hey! welcome back jan!" the alabaster canine said as he puttered over to take a seat, dodger remembered januaryromance. man that was such a long time ago though.
