Chloe Rex was a daredevil and an adrenaline junkie, and combined with a brain that didn't sound the alarms on pretty much anything, she got into trouble pretty easily. For example, right now she was dangling from a fire escape; not too high yet, only ten feet or so, but the ground was rather... concrete.

And of course, Chloe Rex saw nothing wrong with this.

"Bomb yeah!" She shouted excitedly, then cried out in protest - of what? Gravity? Wind? - as her hat fell to the ground.

writing style casually changes to something better suited to setting the situation up.

It was all hidden in the past, however, and even if he did get his memories back, he would deny pulling off such dangerous stunts. His drive for adrenaline was either still there or not and for now, it was most likely hidden from everyone, even him. For now, he was someone who despised dangerous events and cried at the slightest overwhelming moment as if he was someone who had never been in such situations before. Still, who could blame him? Sometimes too much danger could hurt someone not only physically, but mentally.

He hadn't been doing anything worth mentioning at the time, and was merely taking a walk through the city. However, Leo's attention was caught as soon as a familiar looking hat drifted down to the ground, almost falling on his face. "Huh?" Leo exclaimed, picking up the hat in his paws, a puzzled expression washing over his features. He raised an invisible eyebrow of confusion, sure of who the hat belonged to yet unsure of why it fell from up there. The blonde feline craned his neck upwards, squinting in order to attempt to see what had caused it to fall so suddenly, his eyes falling upon Chloe Rex, who was dangling from a fire escape. Leo's vibrant pink eyes widened with fear and he dropped the hat onto the ground, rushing over so he was now almost directly under her, internally panicking. "Uh, are you alright? How are you gonna get down?" Leo could always attempt to catch her, though he was pretty small in size and and might not catch her, so he didn't want to instantly resort to that option.

Chloe Rex peered down curiously at the voice. Leo sure seemed nervous. "That, my Zodiac-ish friend, is part of the challenge!" She called down, before reassessing her situation. She could either try and climb back up or drop down and hope for the best. "Hnng..." Gritting her teeth, Chloe Rex hauled herself up onto the metal fire escape, letting out a whoop of victory. Chloe Rex: one, Gravity:.. also one because it had her hat.

That was the first time that Leo had even heard of that nickname and part of him was surprised that he had even received such a name, though the other part of him believed that it was rather cute, so he didn't bother mentioning it. Anyways, he had bigger situations to assess, like this one, for example. What was he supposed to do if she did end up falling? It wasn't like he knew anything about medicine, so he honestly had no idea. He contemplated trying to get someone to help but then, before he had a chance, he saw Chloe start moving again.

Leo hadn't realized that he had been holding his breath the entire time and eventually let out a sigh of relief as he saw her pull herself back up onto the fire escape. He had to admit, it looked like fun, but he knew that falling would prove to be extremely dangerous, so he wouldn't dare go up there...alone. Leo picked up her fallen hat once again, waving it around in his paw as he called up to her, "Hey, I've got your hat down here!" He wasn't sure how he was going to get it to her, unless Chloe dropped down or Leo got up there. Leo would contemplate going up there himself, since it seemed to be one of the safer options, yet heights were never really his thing. Still, one of them had to do something, and Leo figured that it might as well be him. However, he decided to wait on Chloe's verdict on all of this.

Chloe Rex stuck her head out over the side of the escape again, her wings fluttering, and peered down at Leo. "Sweet! I'll be down in a second!" With that, she scurried over to the ladder and descended, dropping the last few feet and landing with a grunt. "Thanks." She said, reaching to take her hat from Leo and put it back on her head at an inevitably slanted angle. "What's up?" Maybe he was doing something exciting that she could join in on, or would have some dare ideas.
