    Rose sighed and followed Jace looking at Jem a slightly apologetic look on her face as she went


    Will watched as the two left before looking back at Jem,"Who was that?"


    Another group of men came back to grab Numek,Mark,Ailce and Ailie. They grabbed them without being shocked or burned. Carrying them towards a large house in the middle of the forest nothing surrounded the house but the group of men stopped a couple of feet from the house. they seemed to be typing something in mid-air before walking towards the house. They walked through the door and down the hall towards a small room,opening the room they tossed in Mark and Alice,before closing the door shut. Leaving the room behind they dragged Numek and Ailie towards the large library one of the men that wasn't holding a person rolled up the carpet revealing a trap door they opened it and walked down the long spiraling stairs.


    At the bottom there was a room filled with glass tubes every tube was filled with a downworlders inside displayed,vampires drowned with holy water,faeries pierced with iron and werewolves pierced with silver. At every tube there was a couple of notes on the creature inside. At the end there were two extra tubes,the men shoved Numek in one and Ailie on the other before locking it shut.

    (great a demon in a test tube) Numek tried to break the tube. "Jace Wayland."Jem answered.

    "You know, you can stay here," Jace said at the sound of approaching footsteps, which could only belong to Rose.

    Rose watched him carefully,"You wouldn't survive a minute without me,"she replied


    Will shrugged watching them go with a look of amusment and blankness,"Shall we follow them?,"he wondered without waiting to see what Jem thought he lept into the nearest tree,soundlessly


    A small elf-like creature with a large red hat and green skin he looked just like an elf that would work for Santa n Christmas except for the fact that his features were devious as he watched Numek with a bland expresstion,"I wouldn't do that if I were you,"

    "A minute, an hour," he shrugged. "You can't really put a time on those things." He said. Any other time, he would have made a smart remark.

    Rose glared at him darkly not noticing his lack of sarcasm she didn't feel like trying to change his mind-that would take too much time-,"I'm coming with you whether you like it or not,"she said simply struggling to keep her tone calm and steady

    Jace only shrugged, pulling out his stele. Perhaps a tracking rune would work. He began to trace the smooth black lines across the back of his hand.

    Rose watched him she had always admired the stele,depite her hate of Shadowhunters',the flowing black lines weren't like ink from a pen but rather the lines were always there and he was just uncovering them

    Jace paused, glancing at Rose. "Do you have something that belongs to Ailie?" He asked, his tone somewhat urgent. "Or even Numek?"

    "Why not? Afraid that I'm going to make you uglier than what you are?"Numek mocked. Jem followed Will.

    Rose paused thinking for a moment,"Oh yea I think I do....,"she trailed off as she unclapsed her necklace it was a simple metal chain with a small blue pendant hanging from it she tossed it to him,"Here it's Ailie's"


    Will watched them from where he sat in the trees his dark blue eyes bored


    The elf ignored this as he turned to check on the creature next to Numek

    Jace nodded and took the necklace, studying the blue pendant for a moment before grasping it in his hand. The rune glowed momentarily, slightly fading. Jace let out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding, setting off in the direction they'd been going before. It had worked.

    Rose held out her hand,"I want the necklace back,"


    As soon as they started to walk away Will followed leaping through the trees like a squirrel careful not to make a sound


    The elf ignored him taking notes it disappeared returning with a knife with runes drawn onto it he shrugged and shoved it through the tube,it slid through the tube easily as if it was slicing through paper,before it pierced Numek hard enough so that it would hurt him but not kill.

    Numek grunted but pulled the knife out of the elf's hand. Jem followed as quit as a mouse.

    The elf laughed a dark sound more of a cackle than a laugh,"That will do you no good demon,"he said humor danced in his eyes,"The walls of the tube are inpenetrable and the outer can only be opened by an elf,"he spoke with a slight accent most likely Russian. He left the room again this time carrying a small needle he injected it into Ailie who instantly looked as if she had fallen asleep. Afterwards he turned to Numek another knife in his hand he shoved it through the tube so that it pierced Numek he tapped the tube several times and the area around the knife hardened,"Just so you don't take it,"he said with a dark smile before leaving again

    Jace handed Rose the necklace without a word, picking up speed.

    Rose caught the necklace putting it back on she followed Jace


    Will followed them at a swift leaping pace his eyes curious and fixed on the two,he hadn't noticed that Jem was following him
