God, had nobody cleaned out Biyoka's old room? It was such a mess when Goggle walked to move in. Man, Goggle certainly had her work cut out for her. The feline walked into the cobweb infested room and looked up towards her own head as she spoke. [b]"Miss Biyoka? Are these spiders of yours friendly? They won't try to hurt Rex or Albert will they?" The feline walked deeper into the room as she heard a sickly voice in her head answer her with a sort of humored tone to it. "Don't worry,Goggle. They're real sweethearts." Goggle sighed in relief, seeing as if anything happened to her pet spiders, she'd be awfully heartbroken.

The pink and black mainecoon moved her way over to a large cobweb covered object, almost in the shape of another creature, but larger than Gogglesong's body for sure. Tiny spiders crawled around it, not even bothering the female as she looked at the awfully dirty object. How creepy, it looks like the spiders had sewn a casket for a dead cat...but...maybe it more than LOOKED like it. "Oh...How sweet. They missed me." The sickly voice said again, making Goggle use her paw to flip the object over, letting hundreds upon hundreds of spiders to scramble out of an opening in the object.

The object was a corpse, a corpse of a white mainecoon, preserved by cobwebs very sloppily. The corpse had a mask, a mask that by now had taken a white hue thanks to the cobwebs. There were no eyes in the corpse, as those were too fragile and weak to be preserved well. The bones in the corpse were breaking apart into dust still, black marks of illness filling their bone marrow and outer bone. The feline nervously spoke to the voice in her head, shaking a bit at the horrific sight. "I-Is that you?" Goggle said, starting to back away before something stopped her, Biyoka trying to explain to her host that there was nothing to fear about it.

Before the spirit could speak however, a large spider appeared from behind the corpse and ran towards Goggle, causing Biyoka to become too excited to keep Goggle in any control of the body any longer. The mainecoon's eyes turned to an Icy blue as Biyoka ran towards the Spider and pulled it into a sort of hug, nuzzling the palm-sized arachnid and happily speaking to it. "Oh my precious baby Taurus! My smuggly wuggly baby! Have you been preserving mommy's body?" The spider responded with a happy noise of sorts, and as the feline baby-talked to the large spider, more spiders crowded around the mainecoon, from tiny baby spiders to large widow spiders They all seemed to know just who was speaking, they all seemed to realize who was in that black and pink mainecoon body. The feline just looked around and started crying happy tears. None of them had forgotten her. They had cared enough to try to preserve her, and they never left her little place in the Lithiumclan world.

"Yes, Yes I'm back. I'm back here and ready to care for you all again. But...I want you to meet some others." Biyoka said with a smile, allowing Goggle to take over and allowing Rex and Albert to hop down in front of the black and pink mainecoon. "Yes...Yes hello everybody! I'm Gogglesong, and these two are Rex and Albert! I-I'll try my best to care for you all!" There was a loud sound of scuttling feet as the aracnids in the room seemed to applaud for Gogglesong, and as they scuttled around, two of the larger spiders tore the mask away from Biyoka's corpse and ran it over to Gogglesong.

Rex and Albert looked somewhat confused, but Biyoka made sure Goggle knew what to do. After a full minute of unwrapping cobwebs from the mask, the torn up medical mask was placed onto the mainecoon's face. The spiders clapped again, as if they were cheering for the return of their queen. Gogglesong was so confused, so she decided to ask someone who seemed to know all the answers, and that of course was the voice in her head that USED to live here.
"Biyoka...why are they cheering? It's like I'm a ruler or something."
"Well...they're cheering for me. They're cheering because...thanks to you...I'm back where I'm supposed to be."
    "Well then, Welcome back Biyoka!"
"Thanks Gogglesong...Welcome to my f_cked up clan life."

No one ever cleaned out the rooms of the deceased here.

A large part of it for most of the residents was the stigma associated with going through a dead person's things. In many of their minds, it might as well be grave-robbing. Why they cared about 'respect for the dead' was beyond her, but then so were a lot of social customs.

She tended not to take stuff out of others' rooms simply because there was rarely anything useful. Occasionally there would be a diary, or an audio recording, or a multi-colored stuffed penguin- but those were more sentimental items and novelties than anything of real worth.

That, and she couldn't find it in herself to go through Yoka's room. There was no feasible way to do so without causing a scene, not when even being in the hallway was painful enough as is.

Having overheard the soft drumbeat of scuttling, though, the leader found herself approaching the room once more. Was this a good idea? Absolutely not- she'd had a good reason not to go in previously- but she had heard Gogglesong's voice as well, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to confirm or deny her suspicions.

Peering in, she had to force herself not to recoil at the sight. Sure, she probably should have expected that the spiders would have moved their master's corpse, but that didn't make it any less disturbing.

Speaking of, the spiders seemed to recognize their visitor, judging by their enthusiastic behavior. She'd been right, then. Sure, assuming a conclusion based on the behavior of arachnids and a few snippets of conversation was a massive stretch, but it all added up- the little eye gesture, being able to identify her by name despite the apparent lack of an introduction...

"They're perceptive, huh?" she commented, staying outside the doorway. Granted, it wouldn't be that surprising, given how long they would've lived with her and all. Yes, it was perfectly rational, she should have expected this from the beginning- so why was she smiling? Bizarre mood or not, keeping a straight face shouldn't have been so hard.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0;line-height:-12px; text-align: justify;]Dylan, like Seija, never bothered to go into rooms that had stuff in them already. He had walked into one bedroom that had emo looking bands covering the walls, a pile of hoodies near the door, and a guitar on the bed. When he had opened that door on his first day, he almost bottled out and went to find another clan, cause this place was clearly riddled with a difficult and confusing history. Dylan had hardly felt any emotion before he came to this clan, Goddamn.

The serval had been walking around trying to find someone to bother about the facts he learned about elephants when he spotted Seija standing in the doorway of a bedroom. He recalled it as one of the ones nobody went in and wondered what was behind that mysterious door. The Cavalier approached on his long legs and peered over the smaller girl's head into the room. There was a few seconds of his mind processing the spiders and the dead body and the smiling Goggle (as he was oblivious to Biyoka) and Seija. He let out a giant string of curse words and stumbled back, hazel visionaries wide with horror. He hated spiders with a burning passion. "Oh my God, I'm sorry... Um, I'll stand over here.." Dylan crawled to the other side of the corridor and slumped against the wall. "Shit. I mean, they're pretty. I guess."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; line-height: 14px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; color:#;]Florence couldn't find Acid Penguin. She wasn't sure if she had gotten him back after her return or if he was still MIA. That was the frustrating part of dying then coming back. Memories were all foggy, save for the occasional vivid details she recalled from her distant past, and it bugged her that she couldn't remember certain things.

The whole scene was a disaster. First there was Gogglesong, who Flor wanted to punch in the face after the fem's snide comments at her joining. Then there was the corpse. And finally, the goddamn spiders. Florence didn't have a fear of the arachnids, but they were something she could've gone without. She stood next to Seija, a blank look on her face as she tried to figure out what was they best way to handle this. "Dittoing Dylan..." the girl murmured. It was the only polite thing she could think of.
