Jadepool took a deep breath, repeated what she had said to the kit earlier, and went back down the tree to get another one. After she had another she went back up the tree happy to see the kit still there.

After the flood passed, Loveclan set off on the journey to a new home.

Lovestar stopped so she could let her kits have some milk.

Jadepool stopped to look for some cat mint so she could heal herself instead of make the others sick. A vision flashed before her eyes. It was Lovestar's kits. They were swimming but there was Lovestar, and Hardclaw. But where was she? The vision disappeared. 'Maybe I am the sacrifice.' she thought sadly.

"No, I don't think so?" she said. 'I didn't know I said that outloud,' she thought.
