[font=georgia]You open your eyes. The clear morning sun is shining through the den. "Good morning ____". You look at your mother, a ____ colored she-cat. "Why don't you go outside and play with the other kits? You've been in this den long enough." Her voice was warm and kind and you longed to curl up alongside her and fall asleep again but you knew she wouldn't let you. You slowly get up and stumble outside. The air was crisp and clean, promising surprise and adventure. Looking around the camp you see your den mates playing with a ball of moss. You padded over, tripping over your clumsy paws, "Can I play?"

"____!" You shake your head, clearing your mind of the daydream that happened moons ago. "Come on, we have to go on the dawn patrol." Your best friend, a ____ furred ____ reminded you. You yawn and shake your pelt, wishing you could go to sleep again and wait until leafbare was over. "Are you alright?" ____ meows, looking at you worried. "Yeah, I'm just tired, let's go." Waking up now, you race outside. The weak sun hadn't warmed up the ground and your paws were burning with cold by the time your clanmates caught up.
