The servaline, for the past few weeks or even a month had been also silent and she had told all to let her study with her own solitude, so her lean figure could be seen resting under a large tree, leaning against the trunk with a tranquil expression which never seemed to fade from her features and reading the book placed on the ground all alone. Deep down she was certain that her face was probably buried in the memories of her friends in BoneClan, and considering she hadn't really lingered around much to socialize — which she did not look like she minded, but she was sick of being left alone at the end of the day — she assumed it was only natural. She let out a thoughtful sound as her chocolate orbs never left following the words, but she was not concentrated enough to space out, so she apparently heard footsteps which got nearer to her own existence. Needless to say she was not awaiting for company unless it was Shishio who might feel the urge to check on her which indeed always made her day, but lifting her chin to see who it was from where she was seated, a surprised expression was etched on her pretty face.

'Who do we got here? A pretty blonde?'

That triggered some memories to flash in front of her eyes; she had been bullied a lot before she came to be a part of the BoneClan to let go of the such painful memories. It was pure cruelty to have someone suffer because of their own entertainment, and Shiraishi truly did not want anyone to witness such incidents in their life just like she went through. However, this? This was beyond expected, and although her expression did not give away her slight fright, her heart pounded against her chest and the fact that no one would respond to her calls since she had asked them to leave her alone for a period of time swirled around her head. "I thought I kindly asked everyone not to disturb me while I am studying." Shiraishi uttered, trying her best to seem uninterested as n another idea passed her mind. They would not possibly harm her, eh? She had to get over her phobia sometime; not everyone threatened her life. They could be only unaware of her request.

Yet, the other remark of the NPC tiger which stood before her and the sudden action of him proved her false. The tiger, with a powerful move, threw the book to God knows where, ruining its pages with his enormous claws meanwhile putting a smirk. That was definitely hostile was it not? 'And I thought you would prove smarter than that, reading books should have made you a smarter *, eh?'

"Leave me alone, I have no business with the ignorant." She snapped, however, still somewhat calm. She quickly got on her fours to leave, yet the force of the tiger on her haunches made her sit. "Eh?" She uttered, shocked. He could not possibly harm a female, could he? She frowned, intensely and unexpectedly of her nature. Next, the tiger punched her on the face with the enough force to knock her down. She did not lose her consciousness, but she really could not understand what was going on. 'Ah, I must have hid my scent perfectly, you still cannot get that I do not really belong here or anywhere. This desperate need of clans to hold together irks me, really. Let's call it a capture, okay, honey? I will just capture you and then perhaps I can make a rug out of your pretty blonde pelt.'

And next thing she saw was the trunk of the tree, her head hitting hard against the hard surface and the light disappearing till all she could make out was darkness.

    "WEEP LITTLE LION MAN"

Shishio hadn't been seen around for a while - and god knows why. He had probably gotten distracted by a good book and a week's supply of coffee. However, he had finally realised that he had been distracted by the indoors for a little too long - something that was quite unusual for him. Thus, the lion had decided to go outside, and on today of all days, too.

In fact, he was looking for someone in particular - someone that he was now convinced that he couldn't quite live without. It wasn't quite difficult to tell that he was searching for Shiraishi, and, knowing where she usually found herself seated with a book, he had moved towards that very place.

From a distance, he caught the sound of her voice, and his lips parted, as if to greet her smoothly, as he would usually do. That is, until she spoke again, only for a response to be heard from another figure - another male. Of course, had Shishio been a complete idiot, he would have turned, and walked off believing that she had occupied herself with another man during his absence.. But he knew Shiraishi well enough to know.. To know that something wasn't up. Whoever this guy was, he wasn't up to anything that settled well with Shishio.

That was why, at the tossing of an open book, which the lion would catch by the spine, snapping it closed, he moved towards the two. His hazel orbs narrowed, upon settling on Shiraishi's unconscious body, before shifting towards the tiger. "What do you think you're doing?" He'd ask, remaining someone calm, though a thread of anger was evident in his voice.

Thus, the tiger only sneered, a shit-eating smile slanting its maw, that Shishio was simply [i]obliged to loosen. It was then, that the lion lunged forwards, instantly locking combat with the tiger, whom seemed to hunger for a fight. However, as the violence proceeded, the NPC became more hesitant in nature, and instead, somewhat worried about where this fight was headed - Shishio, obviously, seemed serious, and the other acted like a finicky-animal in a cage, backed up against a corner.

Things had been proceeding well, for Shishio, whom happened to grow close to finally pushing the tiger off, and having him run away - however, this NPC was obviously quite stubborn, and happened to be acting as if there were no places to run to. It was then, that the NPC stumbled back, and Shishio straightened himself, lean-onyx body pointed towards the other.

"I'll give you the opportunity to leave." Ah, how much of a fool, Shishio happened to be. Too caught up in his own morals to deal the final blow. It wasn't as if he was hesitant, or feared the outcome, he just didn't believe that there was anything righteous and justifiable about taking a life. That was how he had gotten tripped out, and played, until the tiger gave the facade of a nod, before pivoting, and 'heading off'.

And once Shishio had believed that he had taken his leave, he immediately turned towards Shiraishi, an unseen panic visible in his gaze. His metaphorical brows would furrow, as he leaned over the fae, and aimed to touch her neck lightly, breathing an unsteady sigh of relief as he found a steady-going pulse. However, shortly afterwards, he would proceed to feel the sudden pain of something being wedged into his flesh. The tiger had returned, and had impaled Shishio with a blade of sorts, burying it in the male's chest, and pushing it, twisting the blade within Shishio's being, until dragging it out, and kicking the lion aside.

Shishio dropped to the ground, a few centimeters aside from Shiraishi. At the moment, he was drowned in something other than hate, other than anger - only the desperate need to remain alive, if only to see Shiraishi again.. If only.. If only to make sure that she would turn out alright. However, his vision gradually faded from him, and the male was consumed in a darkness that was far beyond an unconscious existence.. This, this happened to be death itself - and such a pathetic one, too.

A death brought on by the failed attempt to save the person he loved, all because he had been a fool for his morals.

One of them was indeed right. The other, however, was unrealistic especially considering how hard Shiraishi's delicate body crashed into the trunk, making her drift into a sea of darkness and oblivion — she could not gather her thoughts as if she was in a blurry dream. In her part, all the events occurred too sudden for her mind to catch a grip so all the recent memories faded away and got lost.

She would not remember a single thing about the incident if she survived. Of course, she was likely to be eaten or tortured without even gaining her consciousness back, so it was likely to be her end.

Ah, if only she had been fully aware that Shishio had come to her rescue which costed his life. As if the servaline knew the fate of the lion, dead right beside her, a single drop of tears ran down her cheek. They were not Romeo and Juliet, but certainly it was a striking end of the lovers. Maybe it was for the best that she did not know about his death. Her heart would not bear the news and before that tiger could kill her, she would die from heartache.

The wounded and shameless NPC tiger, sighing yet grinning with a twisted victory, grabbed the femme by the scruff and dragged her away from the man she loved. How unfair that she could not even get to confess.
