Sakura sat stiffly under a tree, her cheek bleeding, along with blood trickling out of the side of her mouth. She also had a broken ankle. Her parents recently kicked her out of the house, and abused her. Mentally and physically. 'You'll never find him, that dirty nothing! Even he's too good for you! He hates you!!' The words echoed through her mind. At that very moment, tears began flying down her eyes. [i]It's all true, right?

Kaito came out of the trees, and saw Sakura. Were his eyes deceiving him? Was that really Sakura? He hid behind a tree, still scared of her from the time she went mad with a knife.

Watching the figure, that she soon found out was Kaito, she felt more tears pouring out of her eyes at that moment. He really does hate me. Just the thought made her hurt even more. Well, that gave her the right to hate him back, right? But Sakura knew she would never come to hate him. Eyes sleepily half-closed, she staggered back up, holding the tree carefully at the lack of her balance, caused by her broken knee. She stared at her flower-like collar. The one that he had given her long ago. Hesitantly, she weakly ripped it off and threw it. With that gesture that was supposed to show hate, she staggered off, tears visibly blowing off her face by the strong wind. He hates me, I hate him. Right? She repeated it over and over it to herself, and, eventually collapsed, feeling her energy drop. -
"I can't just leave her." Kaito muttered. He went over to her. "Alright. I'll help you-" He strained as he picked her up.

Sakura simply stared him for a moment, then got up and limped away. "You don't help people you hate, stupid." The struggle in her voice was clear as she said it. She didn't mean it at all, and that was easy to notice, mostly because of her tone. It seemed rather sad, then angry. -
Kaito shook his head. "I don't hate you." I'm just deathly afraid of you. he thought.
-
[align=center][font=anadale mono]
At that moment, Sakura clenched her fists. He hates me so much that he's lying, She thought, slowly turning around to face him. "Well, then. At least I hate you." She lied, more tears running down her face, as she turned around and continued to limp miserably. -
"Sakura..." Kaito said, reaching out to her, then he withdrew his hand.
-

She ignored him, limping faster, until she found a reasonable spot to stop at, flopping down on the grass. It was soft, but for her, it felt like each bit was a dagger stabbing her. "Well, I guess I really should move on." She said very quietly to herself, trying to convince herself as she tended to herself, grabbing a small, burnt pouch from her puppet-like glove's mouth and opened it, taking out a few bandages and a cast for her ankle. "I'm so stupid." She muttered angrily to herself after eventually coming back to her senses. -
Kaito slumped against a tree. "She's been looking for me." he realized.
-
[align=center][font=anadale mono]
She fixed her cast, the blood trickling down from the side of her mouth dried up, the cut on her cheek leaking fresh blood. She found out that she couldn't stand up, since the cast was too tight around her ankle. Hearing Kaito's voice, she simply decided she should keep a safe distance from anyone, so she wouldn't get attachted. And now, in the state she was in, she never felt as helpless as she did at that second, just patiently watching the grass sway. As if she were waiting for her life to end, just patiently, quietly and alone. -
Kaito ran after Sakura. "Sakura! Wait!"
-
[align=center][font=anadale mono]
"What now?" She said, trying to add an annoyed tone as she scooted upwards to lean against a tree, crossing her arms. -
"I don't hate you, you just scared me when you...you know. Attacked her. I ran away, but then I felt bad and I looked for you, but I couldn't find you!"
Of course that was a lie, but a lie every so often never hurt anyone. -
[align=center][font=anadale mono]
"Don't lie," She snapped, shifting farther away from him. "She tried to kill me. Did you see that knife?" She huffed. -
"I saw it! It was horrible! But that look in your eye when you cut her..." Kaito shuddered.
-
[align=center][font=anadale mono]
"You never felt someone hate you, did you?" She snapped. "Too much hate makes me go insane, in case you forgot that." She added, a sharp tone in her voice as she scooted against the tree. -
Kaito threw his arms in the air. "I'm trying to apologize! When will you understand that?!" he fumed, and stomped away.
-
[align=center][font=anadale mono]
"Stupid." She huffed quietly to herself, laying down and eventually falling asleep. -
Kaito ran away, far away, his face burning.
