  • Katana continued to stand on the defensive, not quite buying the innocent act of these so called "kittens". But she stayed close to Hanako anyway, looking over the cats.

Dare turned to the cats approaching, standing protectively in front of Canary, but not in an aggressive stance. He simply barred her from their reach, just in case. He then nodded at the cat in front of him politely, because he knew she had to be at least a warrior. She was definitely big enough, if you were judging by size. He cocked his head toward his sister, "This is Canary." He introduced, "And I am Dare." He looked over the two, noting the size difference of Katana and noting she must be around his age, "We're actually looking for some cats. Maybe you've seen them? Clanmates perhaps?"

hanako gave dare a look that 'you need to be more specific than that' look, "there are a lot of cats. what are their names? it's possible we know them." she told them, clearly not surprised by his protectiveness, it was only natural to be that way, especially around strangers.

  • Canary pushed her brother out of her way gently, annoyed that he was taking so long in getting to the point. He had been the one rushing her to storm the camp, so he needed to hurry his flea-brain butt up and get a move on, or she would have to. She spoke up in a polite but firm voice, "One of them has blue eyes, like Dare's, but her coat is a light tabby gray. The other, her littermate, a tom, has a brown tabby coat with amber eyes. They're the same age as us, so probably about the same size. They would be turning 6 moons soon." She explained. She didn't know if their names had changed, but she gave them anyway, "I don't know if it will help, but their names were Hailkit and Featherkit."

Hearing Hail's name, or part of the name being Hail, Katana perked up. She stood at attention and thought back to the descriptions. It matched Hail exactly. She glared at the cats, "Yeah?" She challenged, "And what do you want with them?"

Dare stepped to go in front of Canary, but she barred him back. She dipped her head, "They're our littermates." She informed.

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; color: lavender; font-size: 6pt; font-family: verdana; text-align: justify; margin-top: -7px;](because i'm lazy, poof they apprentices yay (feather and hail) feather's mentor is hanako and hail's mentor is claw)

hanako nodded with a smile, "feather and hail! they're lovely cats. feather is actually my apprentice." she told the two, her tone light and welcoming, "aimi will want to meet you too, so if you'd like we can take you back and talk to aimi, then get your brother and sister and you two reunited!" she suggested kindly, raising herself to her full height, which was towering over the smaller cats.

  • Katana glared at the two cats, standing up to her full height so she would be bigger than them. She didn't like or trust these outsiders, but she cocked hr head in the direction of camp anyway and took the lead.

Dare and Canary smiled at the 2 cats, though the smaller one didn't seem too friendly toward them. They disregarded the fact and padded on anyway, following the scents of many different cats. Dare still stood between Canary and the clan cats.

  • With a start, a pale form of cream and golden brown fur stood from the nest it resided in for the previous night. Faint cracks and pops could be heard from the feline's limbs as he stretched his ached muscles and bones. Letting a brief yawn escape his otherwise closed maw, the Highlander mix tom padded out into the bright rays of the morning. Frosty blue optics gazed around camp with faint interest as Ignatius started towards the outskirts to groom his pelt. Seating himself down, he worked on smoothing down the soft tufts of fur that stood up due to his movements while asleep. While taking the time to do this, his curled ears were constantly swiveling to catch any segments of conversations that were going on around him. This was a routine for him, though none of his clan members knew he was almost always eavesdropping on seemingly insignificant interactions. His stub of a tail brushed the ground as if it were at normal length and swaying with boredom

hanako led them to the cave entrance and through to the other side into the bright, beautiful clearing surrounded by sakura trees (cherry blossom trees) and other types of trees as well. she glanced around the clearing before spotting the leader and she padded over, gesturing for the younger cats to follow, "good morning, aimi. uh, we found some little wanderers in search of their siblings and they just so happened to find the right clan. feather and hail, these are their siblings, canary and dare, right?" the young warrior glanced at the two younger cats, making sure she got their names right.

  • Dare nodded, while his sister spoke, "Yes, that's correct." She responded, padding forward and ignoring Dare's silent protests. She dipped her head respectfully to their leader, "An honor to meet you." She said respectfully.

Katana instantly dashed off to the apprentice's den and went to Hail, "Hail!" She exclaimed, pouncing on him. She got off after having his attention, "Do you and Feather have some secret family you never told us about? Because there are these cats claiming they're your littermates outside." She examined her paw, trying to act like she didn't care.

Hail jumped up from his messy bedding at that, "A ginger she-cat? And a black tom who acts annoyed at the world?" He asked excitedly. After Katana's nod, he dashed from the den without explanation to make sure. Seeing his littermates, he stood where he was. He was in shock. After all this time thinking they were dead, suddenly they weren't.

lowkey aimi and canary are gonna be besties xD

aimi smiled to the younger cats dipping her head gently, "thank you, it's lovely to meet you both. my name is aimi yuu, but aimi is what i'm usually referred to as." she told them in a kind tone, pleasing to the ears. "before i talk to you about whether you'd like to stay here or not, i believe your siblings are just over there if you'd like to see them." she told them softly, smiling as she spotted hail and feather.

  • Feather ducked from the den behind her brother, staring in shock at her littermates. Not much time was left for pleasantries of being in shock before Hail and Feather bounded over to Canary and Dare and pounced right on top of them. They licked each other's faces and it was a mass of talking without really hearing anyone's replies before Canary finally broke it with a tail wave and a laugh, "We've missed you too." She told them simply.

  • I just wanted to say that this would be a great official clan- it's so unique ;D

  • Naoki -

The medicine cat purred and arrived back to the den, her tail swaying in enjoyment. Her stomach growled and she decided to retrieve a tiny fish from the camps fresh kill.

    Rin -

He caught scent of kits and cringed. He hated them as they were but now it was an overwhelming scent of loner cats, and his ears flattened. He arrived to camp and growled deeply.

    Ash -

Katashi bit into the food, and soon cringed when his tooth ached tremendously. He hissed to himself a curse, and decided he needed to get me medicine before it worsened. He approached the den to see Kireina alone.

  • Katana spotted her mentor and her ears flattened. She turned tail and ducked back into the apprentices den, laying down for a nap so she could calm herself down.

After a long few moments of constant chatter and catching up, Canary turned back to Aimi, "We would like to stay." She told her, "If you'll have us." She added, then came her sales pitch, "We know the basics of how a clan works, seeing as we were in one when we were smaller, and we will do whatever we can to help out. If your medicine cats will have me, I can also help gather herbs and heal when needed. There are some herb patches just outside your territory as well, I could show it to them."

  • Rin -

Rin spotted his apprentice and felt his body burn up. She had slunked away like a coward and he huffed to himself. He knew she would now be even more behind with training, and that would be on her.

    Naoki -

The calico purred when she heard medicine cat come from a young cat speaking with Aimi. She looked to see the she-cat and smiled at her. More help was always appreciated in such a stressful field.

  • Hiroshi finally made an appearance in the roleplay, seeing Katana stalk off into the apprentice den and her mentor just watching with slits for eyes. He sighed, rising to his paws and padding over. He took a seat beside Rin and looked at him out of the corner of his eye, "What happened this time?" The deputy asked.

  • Rin -

He growled deep down in his throat, disliking the depity. He felt as if he was undeserving, and Rin wanted to be deputy, feeling as if he was more worthy. "She just can't take her training I suppose." He murmured, his yellow red tint eyes gleaming.

  • Hiroshi sensed the aggression in Rin's voice, but he refused to let it get to him. Instead, he gave him a look, "She can't take it, or you're making it too much?" He questioned. He rose, ready to leave again, "She's been through a lot Rin. If you're pushing her too hard, she's never going to respect you. You can challenge an apprentice without making them hate you, you know."

  • Rin -

His ears flattened. He held back his cool best he could and narrowed his eyes. "I'm not hereven for her to like me, I'm here for her to become a strong warrior. We need those." His tail flicked behind him, on edge from all the lecturing from softies.

  • "We need them, yes. We also need them to be kind and compassionate, so the clan prospers still knowing its routes. We need young warriors who have dignity and strength, but also compassion." Hiroshi told him. He turned his head to leave, "I want you to lead a hunting patrol. Bring you apprentice, and those two new cats. I'll tag along, I need to evaluate them and see if they know how to hunt."
