"Oh, lovely," he said sarcastically. "I'm being forced to hang out with a 'not exactly old' maid who has nothing better to do than look at pretty flowers and threaten adolescents with her purse. And I was told being a vampire was boring." He followed her, wincing as his wings scraped across the stone walls, making a noise similar to fingernails scraping a chalkboard. He retracted them with a grimace, following a little more quickly now that he could navigate more easily through the tunnel without his giant wings constantly proving to be an obstacle.

Jamie used sign langueg telling rain cloud to jump into her arms and for black-tear to land on her head or just fly, so that he would be following her. Jamie ran around to the front of the castle and looked up at it and whispered to them ho big it was according to her. then she ran back to where she saw the constellations and just laid down.
-
"Well destructive wings and explosive chants are just as fun," Luna retorted, a small smile on her face. She fluttered a bit farther ahead of Jace, held her glowing hand up, and looked around a bit. Soon she saw the wooden wardrobe back in front of her, and put her glowing hand on it. Again, a small, glowing circle surrounded her hand, and the wardrobe opened.
-
Jace didn't reply, falling silent at Luna's words. When he caught up to her, he noticed that the wardrobe had already been opened. He climbed out after her, still remaining silent, and sat down in the chair, wincing, realizing for the first time since they'd gone down into the garden that he hadn't used a healing rune on himself. He looked down to see only bare skin, no grey cotton shirt. "Well, isn't this great," he said, remembering that his wings had torn it to pieces. "You got a show all on your own just for me being there." He pulled out his steel, slowly tracing the rune over his arm.
-
Luna folded her arms, landing near the wardrobe as it slid shut. She patiently waited, tapping her foot, and looking around the dusty shack. Her eyes landed on her own wings. They reminded her of something... Fly? Bat? Moon? Wait... it was bat. She thought hard, trying to realize why she was thinking of the flying mammals. Her eyes grew wide as she remembered. Xylo! she thought, a frown leaping across her face. She slowly shuffled and inched towards the doorway, and stopped, bouncing restlessly. He'll be up any second, she thought urgently. She folded and unfolded her wings nervously.
-
Jace continued to draw the rune in silence, ignoring Luna's constant shuffling. Once he was finished he looked up at her, leaning back in the chair and crossing his arms. "Wanna tell me what's wrong, or do you just have a bad itch that needs to be scratched?" He asked, arching a brow at her, his eyes flicking momentarily to the door before returning back to her, a questioning look in his gaze.
-
"Just..." her voice trailed off. Luna bobbed a bit more before saying "There's just... It's not weird or anything.... A little creature... Thatiputapotiomontomakeitsleepandhe'swakingupinamatterofsecondsandifI'mnottherehemightfreakoutandgetlostandhe'ssohelplessand..." she drew in a deep breath, and looked up.
-
Jace stifled a laugh, his eyes glinting in amusement. "First of all, stop talking as if you can only speak full sentences in one breath at a time," he instructed, standing to his feet and striding over to her. "Second, I'm sure your...Creature...Will be fine" He gave her a quizzical look. "And I'm fairly sure PETA would have something to say about using magic potions on animals."
-
jamie took a cat nap ((no offense to rain cloud)). she soon woke up (the naps only last a minute or two) looking at black-tear hovering above her and rain cloud with her head tucked deep into her arms in sleep. Jamie stood up and packed her things so that she could go to her comfty,in litteral, tree house. Inside there was a couch a small kitchen with microwave oven stove and a sink. She also had an area for her friend animals, a guest room, and her own room that had the tree branch going through the side and slanting outward like a chair. It acctually was used as a chair for her because it also had two branches to the sides , but to make it comfty she put pillows on it.
ooc; Yay thats acttually how my tree house is with no beds though lol! XD -
Luna folded her arms, but the hint of a smile was on her face. "PETA?" she questioned, raising a brow. She wasn't sure how 'okay' Xylo would be, considering she had only just found him, and ge looked quite young, not even teenager sized yet. She shook that out of her head, and allowed the glow on her hand to ebb away.
-
"You know, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals? I don't think you'd get along well with them," he said thoughtfully. He leaned forward, putting his hand on the wall behind her, almost trapping her. "And exactly what type of creature are we talking about here?"
-
Luna looked around, seeing she was nearly trapped. She inched backwards, pressing her back against the wall. "Why does it matter?" she questioned, a challenging look flickering in her silver eyes. "Don't you have other things to worry about?" she retorted, pressing her arms against the wall.
-
"Hey, no need to get so defensive," Jace said, grinning. "I'm just curious. You seemed pretty upset about it. I take it this isn't your ordinary house pet, then?" He asked, arching a brow.
-
Luna bowled herself into the side of his arms, and frowned angrily. "It's a damn bat, Einstein," she spat irritably. "Now will you let me go? Or do you have more questions?" she asked, throwing her body against his arms again.
-
"Sheesh, temper," he said, taking a step back and holding his hands out defensively. "I take it you're not mad at me, you're just anxious because of your bat being gone, and naturally you're targeting me with anger." He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Somehow, it always ends up like that--a girl being so worried about another guy she gets angry at me for some reason." He suddenly smiled and held out his arms. "Jaceys always here for you if you need a hug," he said.
-
Luna rolled her eyesnand folded her arms. "Maybe I was mad at you because, oh, I don't know, you held me against the wall!" she burst, thrusting her fists down towards the ground. "Sorry," she muttered, looking at the ground and slightly blushing. "I... do sorta have temper issues. But it's not like I need a big whoppin' love hug to make tings bettew!" she said on a high-pitched, childish voice, the crossed her arms again.
-
Jace chuckled, folding his arms across his chest. "What about me?" He asked, grinning. "You treated me pretty nastily just then. I think I deserve a big whoppin' love hug." He said, imitating Luna. His eyes gleamed in amusement, golden specs in the darkness.
-
Luna raised a brow. "Oh, so Mr. Dangerous needs a hug to make him feel better? Oh, well while I'm at it, why don't I get your Teddy Bear and your Fairy Dream Barbies?" she asked, slapping her hands on her knees and saying it as if she were talking to a baby.
-
"Actually, I'm more of a book type of guy," he said pointedly. "My father would have killed me if he ever caught me with a Teddy Bear or a Barbie." He paused for a second, smirking. "Besides, everyone needs a hug once and a while." He had to admit, in the past--what had it been, an hour? Two?--Luna had warmed up to him a bit. Of course, he'd dated lots of girls, toyed with their emotions, sent them off crying; but he'd never actually felt anything for anyone at any time. As his father had always said, love caused people to lie, kill, betray--love was the worst killer of all. Maybe that's why Jace never wasted his time trying to find that 'special someone.'
-
Luna laughed, crossing her arms. "Ask me another time, and it may happen," she said, fluttering off the ground a bit. Luna wasn't sure if he was joking or if this was real. They only met about two hours ago, Luna realized. She wasn't sure if she 'felt' anything, she never really 'felt' anything for anyone, just things, like Xylo, but that was completely different. An aged vampire like her... well, they learned how to just see, not love. But Luna wasn't sure if it would always stick to her brain. She uneasily shifted her hovering feet, looking down so she didn't meet his eye.
