Morrow struggled not to trot ahead and wave his tails above his back to tease Naga even further, yet he stayed beside him to help him walk. There's the river. I'll go first. Morrow said as he carefully stepped away from Naga and nuzzled his neck happily before bounding into the cold water, immediately surfacing with a soft yap. Its so cold!! Morrow whined, yet he forced himself to flounder around, his bright fur now darker as the water soaked him to the skin and he made sure the scent was very faint before he crawled out on the other side.

Naga rolled his eyes at Morrow as he sat down and waited, saying with a huff, You're just like a child. What else did you expect? However, as the white fox watched him, he could not help but feel the unsettling malice he was feeling. It was so similar to many times before, but this time it seemed a lot more confusing for him; almost as if he couldn't determine the emotion and it bothered him. He hastily shook his head and forced the feeling away although it still felt as if it was weighing down on his shoulders as soon as Morrow had went out on the other side, he couldn't help but feel like these strange feelings were being directed towards him... but Morrow did nothing to him to cause him to feel these feelings towards him, so why did he feel like this? Sure in the distant past before he had crossed paths with Yuji his life felt almost as if a certain person crossed his path and he felt a pure disgust at them he felt like he should strike them down... even with Yuji he remembered wanting to rip the human apart after their first encounter. It almost always seemed to be specific people... yet as for Morrow... why him? However he shouldn't put much thought to it, especially since Morrow seemed in such high spirits, he wouldn't want to dampen the mood by placing his own problems upon him; it was completely unnecessary.. surely it would go away soon would it?
Naga's paws shakily moved forward towards the stream as he came to that conclusion that he could deal with it on his own. There was no need to mention it to Morrow unless it really was becoming a problem. However, to further distract himself from his thoughts, the fox winced slightly as the cold water soaked him, not really expecting it at all to be so cold, yet he kept this to himself despite the flicking back of his ears at the cold. Not only that, but it seemed as if the pains in his stomach though previously ignored because of the events of earlier which made him not think about it seemed to be slightly sharp and abrupt in which the fox's ears had flattened completely against his head in discomfort. Well, at least he was more focused upon the discomfort now as well as keeping his legs steady as he focused upon washing the scent away from his body in which he climbed out of the stream once he couldn't smell it upon him anymore. The wet fox though looked disgruntled, shivering slightly at the cold air on his thick white fur, though instead of shaking out his fur the fox took a moment to sit down; the pangs of pain briefly managing to get his attention until it went away. Due to the thick fur however, it wasn't really noticeable if Naga was dry, however it was very, very slight but it seemed as if the fox's stomach was only the slightest bit plump, but it was considerably very slight though and almost unnoticeable if one didn't pay attention.

Morrow glared at Naga playfully before crawling out of the river and shaking his fur, getting most of it off him but he was still fairly soaked. His ears flicked as he felt a wave of malice and uncertainty, and had a sense it was directed towards him. He glanced back at Naga, shielding his own emotions as a wave of hurt washed over him before he let down the very small and unnoticeable wall as he waited patiently and quietly. See. I told you it was cold. Morrow huffed lightly as he saw him wince, turning and shaking his tails once more to get water off them and began to pace as he waited for Naga. His ears pricked in worry and he padded over as Naga laid down. Come on. Let's get back and then you can rest. " Morrow said gently as he nuzzled Naga's cheek before pulling away.
-
Naga slowly got back up to his paws with a huff, though he appreciated Morrow's concern he felt a little annoyed at the fact he felt so tired. Naga began walking forward again, though in all honesty he couldn't help but feel utterly exhausted as well as uncomfortable, though he steadily focused ahead a wave of relief flooded over him when they finally reached the shrine, quickening his pace as he went inside, immediately going to his room in which he promptly shut the door behind him and immediately jumped up on the bed collapsing on the spot as exhaustion immediately flooded over him, lulling him to sleep. Though it seemed as if the other residents of the shrine seemed to be elsewhere in the shrine at this point, however Lila and Chiyo seemed to be the closest ones nearby with Chiyo carrying some books over to Lila before scurrying off again to find more within the shrine as the woman scoured through the books with concentration.

OOC:I am so sorry for not responding. Just been unexpectedly really busy because of my senior year. I AM SO SORRY PLZ FORGIVE ME.
Morrow tried not to intrude on Naga's feelings, but he could feel the exhaustion and annoyance washing off him. His ears flickered slightly, staying close to him as they walked along. He sighed lightly as he saw the shrine, letting Naga rush inside yet stayed outside as he stretched out on the warm rock to dry out his wet fur. With the fur dampened, every single scar was outlined, so it was a fair shock that fur had even grown over the scars. Morrow was fairly sore from not five minutes ago with Naga, resting his chin on his paws as his eyes began to droop close. Before he dozed off, he sent the sleeping Naga a warm, love filled ripple of emotion, yet it was subtle so he wouldn't wake him. And then he blocked him out since he could sense a nightmare coming.
Night... Again? Wait. " Morriw glanced around cautiously, and tried to sit up, only for panic to seize him right away as he heard chains rattle and felt cuffs around his ankles and wrists. He winced as a light snapped on, terror rushing through him as he saw none other than Yujii staring down at him. And a whip in the other hand, while one held... His tail. "I think it's about time you leave Naga alone. He's mine, and always will be. I can take him away from you, with just a flick of my wrist. So think again about loving him, little fox. What do you think Naga's going to do when he has that child? Stay with you? Or run? " Yuji said with a low purr, crouching and beginning to run the knifes blade over each of Morrows scars, tearing them open one by one, taking his time to cause excruciating pain. Morrow cried out, trying not to panic in his nightmare, though it felt all too real. Within seconds, blood was rolling steadily down his pale skin and he passed out from the pain.
Morrow woke with a start in the morning, paws and legs trembling with his fur bushed up, though the stench of blood was thick in the air. Morrow shook his head, sliding off the rock and glanced at his back, heart pounding as he saw blood soaking his fur, burning pain beginning to set in. What was he supposed to do? Naga would freak if he saw him. Morrow looked around hurriedly before dashing back towards the river from yesterday, stumbling once but refused to fall since he didn't want Naga panicking.

OOC: Its okay X3 I was pretty busy myself
By the next morning Naga was still deep in his sleep, his breathing slow and yet somehow he felt disturbed. A faint prickle of anxiety ran up and down his spine as he slowly opened his eyes and straightened up, feeling a little bit dizzy at the sudden action as well as ever so slightly being confused. He slowly stood up, wincing slightly at the faint soreness he felt as he slowly stepped forward towards the door to his room honestly and truthfully feeling that there was something not quite right about this. Opening the door slowly, he blinked in confusion as soon as he spotted a large clearing, the bright foliage of the forest was unfamiliar to him and far more thick and lively than any other forest he had seen which made him pause as he thought, Is this... my mind? Naga had never gotten to the point of subconsciously going into his own mind during sleep. In fact this was a bizarre experience for him, having never done such a thing before. Though he couldn't help but still feel that same prickle of anxiety run up and down as his spine as he cautiously called out, "Morrow? Kage? Lila? Chiyo?" His voice seemed to just echo back in emptiness with of course no reply. He huffed as he muttered, "What else was I expecting?" However, just then he had looked down at himself and upon realization that he was in his female form caused his eye to twitch as he said in annoyance, "Oh come on! My mind should be the one place where I feel like myself! Why am I a woman in here?!" Naga slowly took in a deep breath and exhaled, wrapping his arms around himself as the fox muttered, "Well, I suppose no one else is here anyways... it doesn't really matter." Naga cast an annoyed glance over his female body, "Though I have to ask the question why am I naked?" Of course, there was no answer as he paced back and forth, ears flattening against his head only to sigh as his shoulders slumped as a voice echoed out, "Jeez, get a hold of yourself Naga." Naga muttered, "Yeah.. I need to get a hold of my-" His eyes opened staring directly back at the person who had spoken, the red gaze steady and staring back at him, though quite frankly this fox was naked as well, but there was an intimidating aura coming off of her as well as a sharp anger that caused Naga to stumble backwards automatically in surprise. The fox woman sighed as she put a hand to her head, "I should've expected you to react in such a manner." Naga stiffened up, eyes narrowing though quite frankly at this moment the fox was freaking out, "W-who are you and where the hell is this?" The fox woman tilted her head at him, though she flicked some of her long white hair away from her face as her ears twitched, "This is your mind Naga, and as who I am, well..." A tiny smile crossed her face, "I am you. Though a you that you've forgotten... or rather we've forgotten entirely together. My name is Kinra, the first nine tailed fox." Naga's mind was whirling at this point, eyes narrowed slightly not quite sure if he was really having some strange dream or rather this was quite real.
Naga slowly looked around, his ears flicked back, "...You're the one that gave Morrow that increase in spiritual energy.. weren't you?" Kinra tilted her head slightly as she murmured, "I suppose I did do something like that didn't I? Hmm... no matter, I wanted to test him first. But I honestly don't approve." Naga's eyes narrowed as he turned to face her, "Don't approve?" Automatically he was getting a little irritated, though he couldn't deny the faint and brief tints of anger he felt after intimacy with Morrow... was it Kinra that had been fueling those emotions? Kinra paused as she looked away from Naga, as if unable to meet his gaze, "...Considering this maybe one of the few times we'll ever speak to each other as two different souls... we will have much to discus including the lives you will bring into this world. Come, let me show you..."
A few hours later, Naga's eyes had snapped open as he took in a deep breath and exhaled. His eyes closed tightly for a few seconds before he had realized he was in his fox form. Slowly, he shifted into his human form almost fainting upon the spot from the sudden rush of dizziness that nearly overtook him, however he closed his eyes tightly as he took in a deep breath and exhaled, forcing himself to relax though quite frankly it was very, very difficult for him to do so. Considering everything he now knew... he... didn't know what to do.

Morrow huffed as he made his way to the river, too tired and hurting to pay attention to Naga's emotions, though he felt a twinge of guilt for blocking him out like that. He felt relief for sleeping outside, for he was sure that there would've been temple wide panic about his back and he really didn't want a pregnant Naga to worry about him. Not now. Not... Ever. Morrow shook his head, letting out a soft whine as he slipped into the freezing water, yet it soothed his burning and opened back. Each cut hurt individually, yet the cold water numbed his skin, making it more bearable until his paws started to go numb as well. Morrow frowned slightly, able to tell something was off with Naga although he had the wall up. He hesitated to bring it down, unsure if Naga wanted to be bothered, and decided to wait until he got back to the temple and he was dressed. Morrow dragged his heavy body out of the water, ears drooping and fur heavy with water and a wisp of blood that refused to go away. Let's just hope Naga can remain distracted for a few more hours... Or days. He doesn't need to worry about me at all. I'm... I shouldn't be a concern. I'm just a hassle at this point. Morrow thought, head dropping a little as he plodded back to the temple. His ears pricked, realizing that blood had spilled onto the rock and hurried over, shaking his fur out and watched as the blood disappeared into the dirt. Morrow let out a kid little sigh and shook his head before scampering into the temple as quietly as possible, staying low as he darted to his room.
Morrow swallows thickly as he passed by Naga's room, his heart hammering in his chest since he felt nervous for absolutely no reason other than getting caught. His fur was flattened, so the open scars were very visible at the moment. And they were bleeding again. Morrow paused by Kage's room, darting in and nabbing gauzes and bandages before running back to his room and shutting the door behind him. Morrow took in a deep breath, wincing as he shifted back to his human form with a quiet whimper, body trembling with agony as he tried to focus as much as he could, beginning to place bandaged on his back as he swallowed thickly. It took all he could not to just collapse, stomach yowling for food since he hadn't eaten in quite a while
Morrow gazed at himself in to mirror, limbs numb and pale eyes dull as he watched himself wrap the bandages over and around his whole upper torso. He shook his head, pinning it down before sliding on a baggy shirt and jeans before making his way out to the kitchen. -
With an annoyed shake of his head Naga had stood up though honestly he felt as if with the strange visit into his mind it had solidified something.. Something that he wasn't sure if he even wanted to know as well as gaining memories that felt as if they were correct.. Real in fact, as if he had experienced them before. Though ever since Izumo even before he had met Morrow there was always a gap.. Or that was the best way he could explain it in his mind, something that he wasn't sure if he remembered or not. Though that was the last of his concerns of course, he now had noticed the block that was put up between himself and Morrow in which he first felt a tiny bit of confusion only for his muscles to lock as a flood of anger suddenly overtook him. Though the venomous wave of anger didn't quite reach Morrow at all, in fact Naga had quickly reigned it in before it reached him, not at all wanting to start another rift between them. Whatever the reason Morrow had for blocking him, he would just have to respect it and wouldn't ask.. Although that stirred up more resentment in him. He honestly felt slightly surprised at the rage filled emotions surging up not really sure where they were coming from at first but.. For some reason he had a pretty good idea why.
With a sigh, Naga slowly got up though wincing slightly but shaking it aside just as quickly as he shuffled throughout his room and eventually picked up a robe and put it on, though grimacing at a faint pain starting off in his stomach again though he took in a deep breath and exhaled with a shake of his head had slowly exited his room though picking up Morrow's scent and a faint tinge of blood. His eyes narrowed slightly.. Not in caution bit rather was it suspicion? No.. Not quite that either. Dismissing it, he slowly made his way down the hall although it seemed as if Kage was awake, the man's gaze flickering to Naga as he offered a gentle smile, "Good morning Naga, how are you feeling?" Naga stopped and looked at him, not sure why he felt the same anger and resentment building up again as soon as his gaze settled on Kage's face. He looked away after a few moments after a look of discomfort crossed Kage's face after Naga's eerie silence greater him though saying eventually in a detached tone, "I'm fine." Kage blinked in confusion as Naga walked off and a deep frown crossed his face at the attitude he had received.
-
Morrow couldn't help but feel worried for Naga as he absentmindedly started to make breakfast for himself, but also made a bit more just in case Naga was hungry. He let the wall down cautiously, hoping Naga wouldn't pry into why there was a faint scent of blood around him. He shook his head, frowning a little as he swore he felt a tinge of pure anger directed towards him, trying not to think about it as he stirred the scrambled eggs before placing them on a plate. His back burned with every movement, the haunting image of Yugi fiercely burned into his mind, as well as his words. Maybe it was time to leave. He was strong enough for it, and he knew he could protect himself if he was ever in serious danger. And Naga wouldn't have to constantly worry about him anymore. "Maybe I should... " Morrow murmured to himself, nibbling on his bottom lip as he grabbed his plate full of food and sat down at the table with his back rigid. His four tails curled around his waist neatly, ears twitching and flickering as he ate. He stared off into thin air, mind whirling with thoughts and plans, eating until he couldn't eat anymore.
-
As it seemed that the wall between them was lowered, it seemed as if the only thing even flowing from Naga's mind was emptiness, as if it was a simply empty dream like state. There was no words coming from Naga, nor did it seem as if the fox was having any intentions of going near Morrow at this moment either, yet it didn't seem as if Naga was withdrawing either, just remaining completely empty except for the faint strangeness to his mind now, almost as if it seemed more foreign and ancient than before, but as a few moments passed a slow simmering anger and rage was boiling forward and very much the same like the emotions the statue had emitted, almost building up until it was pressing down upon Morrow's mind as if about to attack him before backing off slightly, ..Hmph.. You again. The voice sounded or rather echoed like the same voice the statue had emitted, however it had the undertone of Naga's voice now and it considerably didn't help that it was sending off surges of rage, ..Your family line is all the same.. Disgusting. With that it had withdrawn, clearly the scathing words were emitted with so much, hatred it could only be centuries old filled with grudges.. But it seemed to have blocked Morrow judging by the suddenly immensely strong wall that seemed far stronger than anything Naga could muster.. But clearly this could only mean the fox woman had taken some sort of residence or possession in Naga's soul and mind, though of course it gave no hint if it had picked up on what Morrow was thinking except for the disgust and anger directed at him, but otherwise it was rather strange.
As for Naga, he hadn't noticed the exchange at all and was simply walking out of the shrine and into the nearby forest, shifting forms as he did so, the white fox quickly going into the undergrowth. His spine was crawling merely being around Kage and he would not test if the same feeling came up with being around Morrow. He felt apprehension though, the more he proceeded further into the forest the more he grew more frustrated then paused as soon as he realized the strong block that was placed up, ears flicking back as he wondered what Kinra or rather.. Himself could've possibly done, such things were quite disorientating for him now. With a shake of his head, he continued forward merely wandering around until his surroundings were unfamiliar to him. He stopped and looked around, sniffing cautiously before continuing. He wasn't sure where he possibly was going.. But he felt somehow drawn the keep going despite the gnawing agitation as the trees seemed to grow denser and some seemed dead or dying. His eyes narrowed as he stopped in which he muttered, "..What is this?" He looked up and tilted his head, slightly baffled by how dark this place seemed considering the thick leaves that, blocked out the sun. Naga took in a deep breath and exhaled, though feeling as if he'd been to this place before.. He just didn't, know when, and he needed to explore just a little bit more despite how tired he was getting. But he could not shake the feeling of being watched.. But feeling no fear kept him going further.

OOC: I do apologize for leaving the thread so abruptly, I just had no muse left in me at all but its coming back slowly.
Morrow could feel the strange emptiness coming from Naga, which made his full stomach twist as he pushed the plate away. Something was wrong with Naga but he couldn't tell what, rising to his feet to clean the dishes he had made. He paused and frowned deeply as he heard those words, feeling hurt as he could sense the underlying disgust and hatred directed towards him. What did I do to piss Naga off? He...He's acting like he doesn't want me here anymore. Morrow thought as he pulled his arms around himself as he looked around before heading into his room. His soft ears pinned back slightly as he pulled out the candle, trying not to breath the deliciously heady scent as he pushed it into a bag and then some clothes. He knew if he left without a word it would cause a house hold panic, but he didn't want to be around Naga if he wasn't welcome anymore Ever since he had brought Naga back, he was so utterly miserable that Morrow felt useless as a lover and a Master. Morrow shook his head as he wrote a short note to Naga and his family, his aunt and Chiyo as well as Kage since he considered them family now.
I will be back in a few days. Please don't come looking for me, I'll be okay. Morrow scribbled the words down before picking up his bag and placed the note on his bed before he walked out of his room and left the door slightly open. Is Naga disgusted with me because... because I'm not Yugi? Even after all these years? Morrow felt more and more hurt the more he thought about it, walking out of the shrine and down the road that went up to the shrine. His tails curled up under his shirt and he pulled a beanie on to hide his ears, nibbling his bottom lip.
-
Naga's steps continued to sound out in the eerie silence, though his ears twitched back as soon as he heard movement. Turning around, his gaze settled upon a figure; although looking somewhat familiar to him as if he had crossed paths with this very person before... however his skin crawled with a feeling that was undeniable. Apprehension and severe discomfort. He could barely make out the facial features of the said person, his ears ever so slightly perking as the figure turned towards him, though startling him by the sudden bright tone, "Ah, Naga was it? My brother's familiar I'm guessing? Actually no.. my mistake, a new person replaced him didn't he?"
"Yes, he was replaced... but who are you?" The apprehension was growing, suspicion settling along the fox's spine, although raising his head higher to meet the approaching stranger's gaze as he heard him chuckle, "Its been that long huh? Uto, does that name ring a bell?" Naga's ears flicked back as he froze, the familiar face of Kage's younger brother appearing to him.. the one that was indeed the leader of the Shrine Masters in Izumo and his presence there was certainly not a good thing. Oddly enough, anger began boiling up once more though he quickly quenched it before harsh words left his maw. This would put things in a more difficult situation than that of before, and Uto... Uto certainly wasn't Kage by any means. Though, Naga wasn't sure why he felt such a way, his instincts were telling him to run... yet before he could move, surprise made him yelp as he was picked up by the man, Uto's smile seeming chilling upon his handsome face, "Now, it seems like you remember me, I must visit your shrine for a bit... just to confirm some suspicions." He started walking, although Naga's body felt immobilized within the cold grip of Uto, his eyes never leaving the face that made him feel such unexpressionable dread that it couldn't be contained. His jaw clenched as he forced his gaze away. He couldn't allow himself to be rude, it wouldn't bode well... but he didn't understand why Uto had shown up at that time. He normally would've made an announcement... wouldn't he? The thoughts clashed together as the fox turned his eyes suspiciously towards the man, but was chilled yet again at the seemingly wild and victorious grin hidden in his eyes, the hushed whisper of, "..All going perfectly.." Naga's ears flattened as he interjected sharply, "Master Uto.. do you mind putting me down?
The man's light brown eyes turned towards Naga, as if snapped out of his temporarily triumphant mood, "Oh? Of course. Sorry, you seem a bit exhausted." He leaned down and as soon as Naga's paws touched the earthy floor, he immediately put distance between him, feeling disgusted by the mere touch of Uto... it just caused unexplainable anger and fear that he certainly didn't want to get anything involved into. "Follow me." With that he turned away from Uto who looked surprised.
OOC: Its OK :3

Morrow looked behind him as he walked away quickly, feeling his stomach twist as he remembered the strong anger directed towards him. He put a fairly strong wall up since he felt Naga wouldn't notice, solidifying it as he hesitantly reached out and put a wall around their bond as well. He knew it wouldn't break it, but it wouldn't let Naga find him or feel his emotions unless he really wanted him to. Morrow shook his head as he hurried away, clutching the straps of his bag tightly as his heart burned. After everything he had done for Naga, all he had received was hate and anger and misery. Rarely did he feel loved. He felt guilty for leaving his aunt behind without a word, and the adorable little Chiyo who he felt was becoming like a little sister to him. Morrow straightened his back and increased his pace, nearly jogging now as he took off down the road and out of sight, not long before Uto and Naga began to head back. It felt strange to even cut Naga off like this, feeling empty and like he had a lot more space in his mind without Naga there.
Morrows eyes narrowed as he made it into the town, sweat rolling down his temples as he pulled out cash to buy the first thing he needed, which was hair dye. He didn't want to be recognized. The next thing he bought were contacts, a soft blue color to hide his normal rusty color. Morrow soon found himself in a hotel room, cheap and tiny but with a bathroom that he could use. His stomach twisted as he gazed in the mirror, his mind wandering to Naga and what he was up to but it only made him hurt more. He hated being this sensitive, but he couldn't help it, not when his emotions went wild whenever he was near Nag. Yet the walls held strong, stronger than they had ever been before.
-
"Naga, you're experiencing... difficulties aren't you?" The white fox paused in mid step, though looking over his shoulder towards Uto, the perception in the man's eyes were similar.. yet not quite the same as Kage's. He felt almost as if he was mocking him. "…In all due respect, I appreciate your concern Master Uto, but it isn't needed." Evasively refusing to answer the question, he turned his head though he heard Uto chuckle, "Ah, really? But as far as I know... you and your master are far too close." Naga stopped yet again, staring ahead in silence as Uto tilted his head, "Hmm? Am I not wrong?" Naga hesitated for a few seconds, only to respond, "Your presumptions are incorrect. There is nothing between me and him."
"..Fuhu... you're lying Naga." Uto's eyes closed as he sighed, "You never would lie to me. So unexpected. But, right now I think this isn't good at all.." Naga turned to face him, though his blood chilled at the malice in his eyes, a twisted look, "After all I did to try and keep you two apart... I just don't appreciate my actions being ignored." Naga stepped back, ears flattening as bewilderment flooded through him as Uto continued speaking, "Such a shane too... you still cling to him. After all he just abandoned you, and you don't even know that... your pain must be unending. But what else do you expect? Although he's my relative... well, humans and yokai can never be together. Only I can be with you." Naga's legs felt cold, unable to move. Although he knew if he could sprint now, he could make it back... get away from this man. As to why was he saying such things? He barely even talked to him, he only remembered seeing Uto during meetings and such... so why was he..?
"You still look confused my dear? Then lower down the barrier in your mind. You'll see." …The look on his face would be absolutely delicious.. He watched as the fox's eyes narrowed at him, distrust in the blue depths, however that quickly faltered to a blank then stunned, reeling back to emotionless as Uto crooned, "See?" He kneeled down in front of Naga, turning the fox's face up to meet his, "So, either way if you undersrand... you know the consequences and due to this I'm sure you would have no qualms about his punishment?" "No... don't touch him. He.. did nothing wrong." Uto raised his eyebrows in surprise, though a sick feeling twisted in his gut, "You're going to protect him still?"
"..Yes. He's still my master... he's..." The look in Naga's eyes made Uto cringe, such devotion... he'll crush that completely. "...Very well. He'll go unscathed. But you... you'all have to take his place." Naga's form shifted, though his eyes never left Uto's, jaw clenching as he stared stonily back at him yet his body felt the need to run away; everything was telling him to run. Yet, the bond... he could feel the unreachable block so similar to all those years ago when Kage... His eyes lowered to the floor just then. This... man in front of him, though he didn't know what he could possibly do to him... he didn't need Morrow to get hurt. He'd already dragged him into troublesome things.. and Uto clearly seemed to know about the relationship in what ways he did not know. However, it was his duty to protect Morrow.. no matter what the situation. If he was left behind... then so be it. If Morrow hated him... then so be it. If he had to hurt him to protect him... then so be it. Morrow was never meant to live in his world... and their relationship was never meant to be. "I understand..."
He could feel the utter amusement coming off of Uto, chilling him yet again as to what he was expressing such jubilation, "Then, I'll take you as my own familiar..." His slender fingers came up to Naga's temples, cold smile unwavering, "I'll make sure I'll treat you far better than he ever could... as a father I should do that much... right Naga?" His eyes went to slits as soon as those words left Uto's lips, though unable to speak as he felt as if his throat had closed up. Before he could truly process the situation and the words Uto had spoken, his eyes dimmed as he felt an invasive presence in his mind and before he could bother to muster up enough strength to push back against the overwhelming pressure... it was simply gone. Shattered to pieces upon Uto's demand; severing the bond utterly between himself and Morrow, the sudden feeling causing him to nearly move away only for Uto to chuckle, grabbing Naga by his hair and pulling him back towards him, "Tsk, tsk... you agreed to take his place. Trust me, this could've been far worse my dear... or would you rather repeat the little incident in Izumo?" Naga's eyes narrowed, anger burning within the depths as he hissed, "I'll protect Morrow from the likes of you ba-" Lips immediately fell upon his own, though the terror begin filling through him as his body remained utterly still, the sickening feeling of the new bond being forged between himself and this... madman. He dared not move, though when Uto had pulled away he said in cold anger, "I'll make sure that name never leaves your lips again."
Uto's grip never lessened upon Naga as he pulled him close, feeling amused that the fox wasn't resisting, "Now... let's go to Izumo. I'll handle breaking the news to that idiot brother and that runaway." Naga's eyes refused to meet his, though saying in a blank tone, "..Yes... Master." Yet he felt utterly sick as he could feel Uto holding him, the terror he was feeling unable to die down. However, he was completely unaware of the fact of Uto's actions, the little spiritual energy that Kinra had earlier supplied Morrow had vanished completely, returning back to Naga and as a result removing the fox ears and tails... and somewhere.. the Kinra statue itself had broken and shattered, the cold stone utterly turning to rubble.
...
[font=times new roman][color=white]Back at the shrine however, Kage's eyes narrowed as a feeling of unease went through him. "Naga? Morrow?" The man's footsteps were hurried as he moved throughout the shrine, yet his gaze settled upon the note in Morrow's room and upon reading it, he let out a sigh. He was sure Morrow was capable of handling himself.. he had no doubt in his decisions. Yet Naga, he normally would be heard or seen around the shrine. Even now with his current condition he would never stray far... and truthfully the fox's emotional state wasn't the best right now, and just as he was mulling those thoughts over his thoughts worried about Morrow. What could've possibly happened? His skin crawled however as he heard a low creak followed by Chiyo's quick footsteps as she rushed over towards him, "K-Kage, the shrine... its deteriorating!" Lila had rushed over as well, a frantic expression upon her face though immediately Kage snapped, "Everyone, outside! Now!" Of course, ushering everyone outside was an easy matter, yet he had one conclusive thought... the only reason why this could've happened. Morrow's powers as a shrine master was revoked.. and the bond between him and Naga would be shattered. The only one capable of such a thing was Uto... a man who he never wished to see again.

Morrow had taken a hesitant breath as he slid gloves onto his hands, gazing at the hair dye and shifted his weight, nervous to get rid his of soft brown hair. He shook his head and tried to focus, only for his eyes to widen and he fell to his knees as he felt the heart shattering break of the bond. He covered his mouth, a sob leaving his lips as tears splashed onto the ground, feeling sick to his stomach as he knew what had happened. But.. it had felt forced, the break. Morrow had a strong feeling something wasn't right, quickly washing his hair out from the bleach, only a blonde streak left. He grasped his bag and clothes, shoving everything back in and hurriedly slung his bag over his back with a wince and lip trembling from the pain.Did Naga really break the bond? Is he that disgusted with me? Morrow went to check that his ears weren't showing, feeling a bit weaker than normal and he froze. No ears. No tail. Something was definitely not right.
Morrow ran as fast as he could back to the shrine, smashing and bumping into people left and right and barely had time to apologize with how much of a hurry he was in. Naga didn't have the power to take his ears or tail away, nor drain his power. He felt sick with how anxious he was becoming, ignoring it as he dashed back to the deteriorating shrine, out of breath and struggling to breathe as he stumbled up the road, his bottom lip trembling as he saw the shine dwindling and crumbling. He took a few shaky steps before going to Kage, grasping his arms fiercely. "What's going on!? Why did Naga break our bond?" He cried out in a panic, shaking Kage slightly.
-
"Morrow?" Kage nearly jumped out of his skin as soon as Morrow had shown up. Although, his jaw clenched as he had to tear his eyes away from the shrine in decay, the sight being almost too painful to view. His expression turned pained as soon as he met Morrow's gaze, "It was not Naga who did such a thing ...Uto, the leader of the Shrine Masters is the only one capable of doing this... to rip bonds apart as violation of law." He lowered his gaze, a deep regret in his eyes as he continued with heavy words, "He is the final judgement for everything between a master and their familiar... if he finds it not to his liking he'll destroy it. He must have cornered Naga... and as punishment... broke your bond... and taken him away.." His hands clenched into fists, "..Naga.. is gone now. I'm sorry Morrow... there's nothing anyone could do now."
Those words felt sickening for him to spit out, however this was his fault.. if Uto had never taken the leadership... if he hadn't given him it... He closed his eyes tightly, before saying quietly, the regret ringing out in his tone, "..I'm sorry.." Chiyo's ears flattened as she stared in shock at the shrine, murmuring in a shaky tone, "U-uncle Naga..."
-
Morrow shook his head as he let go of Kage, tears flowing freely down his cheeks as he paced, beginning to hyperventilate. Even though Naga hadn't treated him all too well, he still found that his heart belonged to the male. "No...NO! I'm going to get him back. This isn't right." He snapped as he wiped his nose in anger, his shoulders shaking as he fell to his knees and punched the ground out of frustration. "It's my fault...It's all my fault.." He whimpered as he kneeled there, unable to control himself, since he absolutely hated the emptiness inside him, a yawning hole that he knew wouldn't be the same unless Naga was with him.
"Where would they go? Kage, where would they go?" Morrow said as he pushed his beanie off his head, his breath labored as he began to pace again. His mind raced at the possible places they could've gone, nibbling his bottom lip and tried to take deep breaths to calm down.
-
Kage's eyes closed tightly, unable to look at Morrow. "..I don't know Morrow..." He took in a deep breath, attempting to calm himself, "For now... it would be best if we leave this place. We cannot let emotions lead us into a dangerous situation. We must plan... and try to search for him." Kage's expression tightened to a serious look, "I will do everything in my power to bring him back. You... Morrow must stay out of danger. You are just a human now, involving yourself in such matters would be far too dangerous at the moment. It would be best if all of you returned to regular human life as much as possible... as if this never happened."
His eyes darkened as his voice seemed to have a dark tint to it, clearly rage, "I'll make sure I'll find any information on Naga's whereabouts. I'll just need all of your full cooperation.. and patience. I don't know how long it would take for me to find his location... knowing my brother he wouldn't just allow him to be found easily. But I will do it.. I promise."
