    Thyme paw sat next to Ashkit, smiling. He could finally hunt and train with her! He watched bramblestar happily.

    "Today we have a kit joining the ranks of an apprentice. Her mentor will be Echoheart. Do you promise to train hard?" Bramblestar asked Ashkit. "I do." She said. "Then from this day on you will be known as Ashpaw." He declared. Ashpaw smiled happily. Everyone yelled her name.

    "Ashpaw, Ashpaw!" Thymepaw cheered excitedly. He watched ashpaw and echoheart.

    "Hey, Lets ask if we could have your firsts training session together! Just you, me, echoheart and bramblestar!" He said smiling as he got to his feet.

    "Great! Thank you bramblestar!" Thymepaw dashed to the camp entrance.

    Once in the forest, thymepaw turned to bramblestar. "What do you want to show today." He said, sounding as mature as he could.

    Thyme paw saw ashpaw. "Hey, hunting isn't that disappointing. Sometimes hunting moves are very useful in battle." He looked back at bramblestar "right?"

    "Sooo... what's first?" Thymepaw sat, waiting for his mentors directions.

    Thyme paw crouched down, shifting his weight under his hind legs and balancing himself with his tail, keeping low.

    "Well done Thymepaw!" Bramblestar praised. Ashpaw tried to the same. She balanced her wait out and kept low to the ground. Her tail hovered just above the ground. Echoheart smiled. "Good job!"

    "Wait! Look!" He whispered, nodding his head over at a bird nibbling at the ground.
