Her guard was down, which was incredibly uncharacteristic, and she just couldn't stop smiling. "I hope I didn't alarm you earlier, or come across as creepy. But it's me, Vani!" God that was weird. She hadn't actually said those words aloud before. When she realized who, she never told anyone. So Renegade was the first to know. "Well, it's Midnightpaw now, or Mid."[/justify]

"i was captured by the exiles. t-they raped me, van. they tortured and raped me." images started to flash in her mind again. horrid graphic images that were just unbearable! renegade turned and put her paws over her head, a look that resembled constipation held on her features. except, it wasn't constipation. none of this was a joke. it was stress. "a-and i don't remember much. . . but i think i have children."


    children. who knew renegade would be here, confiding in her sister about a time in the exiles that involved her birthing kids? jesus fucking christ. she was messed up. badly. it was just her luck, too. and it felt like it all happened just yesterday. there she was, weakened by influenza. undergoing depression and doubting her own self-confidence. she felt like she wasn't important. wasn't needed. no one liked her. so why did she stay?


    yeah why did she stay? the question suddenly stroke her more powerfully than when she first returned to sunclan. she had no true ties here, other than it being her birth clan and vani being her sister resided here. but then, why did vani stay? if no one knew who she was anymore and she had no responsibility, or intention of indicating who she was? it was all so confusing for her. and painful. lots of pain.[/fancypost][align=center]

    and she hated them too. their ruthless and violent behavior was untolerable. perhaps someday they would finally get what was coming to 'em. maybe she would be the one lucky enough to deliver it to them. for now, all she was concerned about was moving past this.


    however, right now vani was talking away. she wasn't even given the chance to respond before her sister was dragging her into a hug.
