  • She listened to Sabbath speak up, albeit hesitantly, only to be shot down quickly by Sam, and followed by others. Less high positions? She had to say that she agreed, it seemed like giving anyone who walked fast enough a high position just made people greedy, it seemed like a nasty way to encourage activity around the clan. She pressed her lips together and cast a look at the red tabby, about to speak up before he backpedaled so quickly her eyes widened.

    Huh?

Suddenly she could see the old Sabbath shining through, his insecure self, the one that was afraid all the time and stammered and was helpless. As much as she thought it was endearing she had to say she wasn't sure it was a good lapse. She closed her parted jaws and ducked her head with a little hmph of surprise, closing her eyes. Maybe she shouldn't butt in, it was Sabbath's problem after all.

Before she could focus the meeting had been dismissed and she blinked with surprise before lifting her head to glance at Sabbath. She moved her gaze to Wingstar and dipped her head apologetically as she stood up shakily, ribs aching but she quickly calmed the pain by distracting herself.

"S-Sorry for being useless I... got distracted." She ducked her head. Holy shit, had she been staring at Sabbath for the past half hour? That was humiliating, hopefully nobody had noticed.

She shut her jaws and made to leave, but shifted towards Sabbath a bit, pausing behind him and starting to say something before frowning and clenching her teeth. No, it wasn't her place, she would make things worse. She shook her head before padding off, her steps lilted to ease the pain.
