    Time never waits. It delivers all equally to the same end.
    You, who wish to safeguard the future, however limited it may be...
    You will be given one year;
    Go forth without falter, with your heart as your guide…

    Welcome to the Velvet Room.

    My… it seems you lot have quite an unusual destiny lying before you. Hehe…

    My name is Igor... I am delighted to make your acquaintance.

    This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter…

    Generally speaking, only those that have formed a contract are allowed to visit this room. But I see all of you have yet to make a contract, though yet you have come here. Which means that you will be given the chance to make a contract in your near future.

    Now how about we do a reading. With these same cards, though yet the result is always different. Now, shall we? There are cards positioned representing your past, your present, and your future. Let us see what your future holds…

    Hmmm the Tower in the up-right position… represents the immediate future. It seems a terrible catastrophe is imminent. The card indicating the future beyond that is…

    Hmmm the Moon in the up-right position… This card represents "hesitation" and "mystery"... Very interesting indeed. It seems you all will encounter a misfortune at your destination, and a great mystery will be imposed upon you all.

    In the coming days, you will enter into a contract of some sort, after which you all, one by one, will return here. The coming year is a turning point in all of your destinies…

    If this darkness goes untouched, every one of your futures may be forever lost. My duty is to provide assistance to our guests to ensure that does not happen.

    Ah! I have neglected to introduce my assistants to you. These two are Nanimonnai and Ushinatte. They are residents of this place, like myself.

    We shall attend to the details another time. Until then, farewell…

  • ((Nice! Let's get going then. :> On yes, NCP chatter will be done in beige color heading. Any other color will be my characters.))
    NCP/Narration
    The day was like most others, the starting of the most current school year, with the day getting over without a hitch and the new homerooms being announced as well. Though that was just the beginning of the day, like most other classes did the day go by rather fast without much if any homework. But this is only where our scene starts, as that day several students stay in a desk cleared classroom of A-3. While several two students debating over the latest rumor of the school, that a ghost appears if you make the correct movements and chant the right words in the classroom of A-3.

    "Come on, Markius. You've got to be kidding me. Are we really doing this?" A guy with a beanie over his light brown hair says with a sigh. Mostly because he didn't seem to get much of the situation here. "As I bet this is a totally fraud. Just some story to scare the newbie freshman."

    "Bentley, is that fear I hear?" The other guy, wearing a leather jacket with various paint spotted all over it, and the one addressed as Markius. "As I bet this will work. You just don't want to do it because your terrified that it's true."

    "Am not!" Bentley says with a slight stuttered as he looked back at Aldrin, Florentina, Kaitlyinna, and Rapheal. "Do you guys think this isn't going to work too. Right?"

    "Can you two finally buck up...?" A girl standing in the front corner of the classroom shouts with her arms crossed in front of her. The girl being Maryana a sophomore on the cheerleading team, as her foot was tapping against the floor. "As if we are going to do it, can we do it before, like, night falls."

    Kaitlyinna "Kait" Layton
    The red haired girl, waited, standing in the middle of the A-3 classroom. Her eyes only half open, showing she wasn't exactly impressed about why she had decided to stay behind today. She had her eyes on a nice painting in the Monsalton Museum, "The Night Watch", that was on loan from another museum elsewhere. Though instead of scoping out the museum, she was standing here in this classroom watching two students bicker over the newest tale of the school. She forced her eyes to perk up as she hear her name being called by one of the bickering students, Bentley.

    "Well, you are not really making the case that your not." She replied in a lady like fashion, as it was true. That the boy wasn't making any really case to say he wasn't scared. "Mind if we do hurry this up a little. As I do have other things I'd like to do tonight."

    Rapheal Starenvain
    The white haired boy looked around the classroom, he thought they were going to expose the most recent story around the school as either a hoax or fact. But instead of going to practice, which he knew all too well he was going to fact the wraith of the coach, he was standing here watching Bentley and Markius bicker between each other. With his hand on his forehead covering a decent amount of his face he was wishing he had gone to practice instead. Which after a moment or two did his hand slide down his face, just before Bentley's look at them. After hearing Kaitlyinna's answer, he shook his head slightly.
    "No, I wouldn't say that." He said gently, knowing one wrong word might make them be stuck there all night. "Though could we get this going...? As I don't really want to be in a lecture by the coach for nothing, if you know what I mean." He said gently, implying that he wanted this to get moving along, so they wouldn't be stuck there till dusk.

  • Aldrik Kirstansen || Hanged Man

    The Norwegian fellow remained silent , merely entertaining himself with the bickering. Watching his classmates fight was something he relished in, even when it was something actually serious.However, he was in agreement with Kaitliynna and Raphael, as he wanted to actually get something done tonight. "I'd love to be here all day, but unfortunately, I do have a life to live." he said with sarcasm in the boatloads.

    Florentina Abbeddeli || Priestess

    This rumor that kept buzzing about was making Florentina feel uneasy. She had only decided to stay after today as she wanted to know more about it, which was probably a very bad idea as no one even knew her name, let alone would not feel a bit intruded on a freshman crashing their meeting. She had planned on just 'conveniently staying behind' because she feel asleep or whatnot. Unfortunately, before the said little 'meeting' started she ran off to use the bathroom and got lost on the way there and back, there being a 20 minute gap between her arrival and depature. When finally finding her way back, she nervously rapped at the door. "Um, am I allowed in here?" she asked, her voice quivering.

  • Kaitlyinna "Kait" Layton {} Judgement
    The red haired Parisian spared a glance over towards the Norwegian fellow, Aldrik, the sarcasm seemed to be dripping off of his words. Though she had to agree with his point, as she certainly didn't want to be there all night, along with she wanted to do other things that night. Though it her eyes shot to the door when someone seemed to knock at it, guessing it was someone else that had showed up that night for this rumor hoax or fact night.

    "You can come in. Honestly if we stay here much longer we might get thrown out by the security guard..." She said only hearing a part of the voice at the door, the quivering being apparent. Though she had a slight tone of annoyance to her voice, as the last thing she needed was a letter getting home to her parents about her staying here till nightfall. "So I'd say we get this show on the road before that happens."

    Rapheal Starenvain {} Strength
    The white haired american's attention went to the door instead of Aldrik's tone. His ears catching the voice a little better since he was closer to the door. He smiled gently guess it was someone else that had the same curiosity they had about the rumor they were investigating. "Yes you can." He said looking over towards the door when her heard the voice come from. "Come in, as not much has happened yet."

    NCP Characters/Narration
    "Come on, guys..." Bentley moaned slightly hearing answers from Kaitlyinna and Rapheal. One that he liked the other was one he could of go without hearing. "This isn't going to work so why are we even here? It isn't going to work."

    "Well Bentley, prepare to put your money were your mouth it." Marcus said with a firm glance then looking over towards Maryana. "Alright Maryana, and everyone else. Let's get started. And you at the door, if you're going to watch then I'd suggest you get in here." Marcus said with ease as he walked over towards the second left corner in the front of the room, which then watched as Bentley went to the left back corner. While lastly a nerd by the name of Lucas had the last corner of the room stake out. "So let's do this then."

  • Florentina Abbedelli || Priestess

    Hearing her welcome , Florentina opened the door only for her heart to sink when she saw all the unfamiliar faces. Not like she expected to see anyone familiar, and to a degree, they were, as all 6 of them were in her homeroom, but she felt like an alien. "You're all talking about the ghosts haunting the school, si?" she asked to make sure. "Ti ho sentito tutto - I mean, I heard you all talking about it this morning so I thought I stick around ..!"

    Aldrik Kirstansen

    "Someone to speed us up , welcome to Mystery Inc. without the stoners." Said Aldrik, now looking back at Bentley and Marcus and then back at the girl, now standing up and stretching. At least things were finally getting interesting . "Lead the way,"

  • NCP Characters/Narration
    "Alrighty, now that we have a good enough group. Let's get this going." Marcus said with a smile, as he motioned for the girl who had just waked in to join the others. "Now I'll explain this once so we can get this started and have Bentley stop his whining. We are here to see if the tale is true. You know the one about the ghost girl that appears in this very room if certain movements are made with certain chants. Now I, the genius that I am, have figured out these movements and chants. It starts with Maryana walking over to where I am saying "Persona, Persona come to us.", then I walk over to Bentley saying the same thing, and Bentley walks over towards where Lucas is saying the same thing. If we do this right, the ghost girl should appear. While the rest of you, stick to the middle of the room and see if the girl appears or not. As we can't while doing the movements and such."

    Kaitlyinna "Kait" Layton {} Judgement
    Kaitlyinna gently covered her mouth with her hand to keep herself from laughing too much. With Aldrik's comment about Mystery Inc with out stoners. Though she was at least glad that things were starting to get moving. "About time." She muttered to herself as she tapped her foot to the floor while waiting for it to get started.

    Rapheal Starenvain {} Strength
    Rapheal nodded at the new girl's comment. To show that was what they were doing. "Well seems like we are going to get things moving now. Talk about us taking our time to do so."

  • Florentina Abbedelli || Priestess

    "Ah, alright! Si! Ok! I'll just sit over here then." Florentina was babbling incoherent nonsense while scampering over to the middle of the room, praying that no one saw the cold sweat dripping down her face. She wasn't to good with even of the most fabricated campfire stories about ghosts, and yet, she was about to meet one in person, and she wasn't sure how to feel. So she just stood, trying not to pass out. No going back now, she thought.

    Aldrick Kristansen || Hanged Man

    Already in the middle of the room, he sat there twiddling his thumbs. He wasn't the one doing anything special, so he just had to sit and wait. Oh, how he hated waiting, but it had to be done. Sort of went hand-in-hand with the paranormal. Perhaps it was the reason why he was only interested in such a thing from afar. At least until now, where the waiting game would begin.

  • Kaitlyinna "Kait" Layton {} Judgement
    Kaitlyinna waited somewhat patiently, having already been in the middle of the room. Seeming like Marcus had complete control over the events, which wasn't exactly her favorite thing to do. Though with most paranormal things she had "heard" about it mostly resolved around waiting. So she stood there, her hands behind her back, wondering why Macrus had to be the egotistic leader in this situation with it was someone else's idea to do it.

    Rapheal Starenvain {} Strength
    Rapheal sighed slightly as he moved towards the middle of the room, only now starting to get slightly unnerved by the situation. What exactly was going to happen, was one thing he didn't know at all. Which he did know one thing he was about to meet a ghost in person. He didn't know how to feel about it, though he waited there. Knowing one thing, running out now would make someone the laughing stock of the school.

    NCP Characters/Narration
    "Alright." Marcus said nodded to Maryana to start the ritual. Knowing she would catch the drift and start it.

    "Persona, Persona come to us." Mariana said before she started walking over to where Marcus was. Then sporting once she was a step away from where he was standing.

    "Persona, Persona come to us." Marcus said picking it up from there and then walking over towards Bentley. Stoping only once he was a step away from standing on Bentley.

    Bentley with a glare at Marcus for the time being, took a breath and sighed. "Persona, Persona come here." He said as he walked over the Lucas and waited there. As Lucas just stood there waiting as well. Though nothing had happened.

    "I told you it wouldn't work!" Bentley yelled at Marcus, turning sharply to look at him.

    "Well... You must of done your part wrong!" Marcus shouted back in reply to Bentley's challenge. "So we will have to do it again."
