Lithium flinched at the order, tensing up even more as the stress of the situation made her heartbeat skyrocket. The femme instinctively lowered her gaze upon the Alpha's approach; a show of respect that had been drilled into her in her puphood when the last Alpha had reigned. No... Inuit was nowhere near as strict, but she couldn't help the brief moment of fear that nearly overcame her. The only hint of her inner discomfort was a sharp intake of breath, before she managed to regain control over her own mind once more. That same stubbornness shone in her gaze again as the femme pushed gently off of Kuroo, and padded shakily towards the indicated den on her own, very nearly toppling over a few times but making it as far as the entrance, nonetheless. No. She would accept no more help in such menial tasks as walking and balance. Lithium would show no more weakness.

IC~ The gray-furred obea trotted into camp with the other two pups dangling by her teeth. She quickly made her way over to the Nursery where a aka was and set them down. She gave Caia a sorrowful look before turning at the commotion. Seeing Inuit helping Lithium across camp she rushed over "What happened?" She asked.

Scruffy instinctively abandoned his fighting stance and jumped back. He helped in surprise, but in some way he expected it. This was new to him, and he himself had no idea how to react properly. "Sorry" He apologized, then padded back forward and dropped back into the fighting stance Kenma showed him. He felt like a fool... His fur bristled in annoyance at his failure to impress the older wolf, but was hardly noticeable by his incredibly bushy pelt.OOC~ Sorry for not posting. Been a bit busy this weekend and can only hop on every once in a while.

Kenma could feel the annoyance coming off of Scruffy, and he assured him, "T takes a few tries to get it right, it's fine." He settled back onto his haunche, instead going for a side swipe with his right paw. Again, he aimed to one side, intentionally missing Scruffy.

Kuroo felt himself relax once Inuit and Alysia took over, but was still concerned for Lithium. He followed as far as he let himself get to the den, pacing slightly back and forth near the entrance in anticipation. He couldn't really come to a conclusion of why he was so invested in the she-wolf's speedy recovery, as things like this happened more often than not, and wolves usually rebounded easily from hunting injuries. He only ever showed true fear and worry about Kenma, so this was a new experience for him.

Scruffy lowered his head slightly and sheepishly grinned at Kenma at his once again failed attempt at a clean and smooth dodge. "At least I dodged this time!" He beamed, deciding to take the brighter side of the situation, though he didn't catch it was an intentional miss on Kenma's part.

They had been out hunting and found nothing to eat. Calla was angry that they hadn't been able to fill their bellies. But Corvus was still optimistic. "I'm sure we'll come across more prey soon enough, sister. These are rich forests and we're skilled hunters." He said with soft smile. "Keep telling yourself that." Calla grumbled under her breath. She had always disliked her brother's constantly positive outlook on things, but it was part of his nature. The two were different sides of the same coin. Both sharing a strong moral code and bold ideals, but Corvus was more open to things than his mean spirited sister. Calla shook some snow from her light grey coat and the two ploughed onwards through the snow.[/fancypost]

[color=white] Inuit barked, "She got hurt during our hunt this morning. I think it's gotten worst.". He stated. As alpha he had to be quick, even when his Obea was gone. That being said he knew a few things on the medical field, but nothing too serious though.. just minor things for colds, wounds, and broken bones. Since the Obea was back, he could leave Lithium in her care. He cloudless just help her to the den and be on his way.
Yukine shoulder his way through the thick brush. He made his way around the rest of the territory without much disturbance anywhere. However near the end he heard a strange sound coming from the mountains. It was loud enough for him to hear but it didn't travel far enough for the rest of the pack to hear. "Odd... Wonder what that could of been..." he said pointing his nose to the sky. Thunder maybe?... But storms during winter... I have never heard such a thing... He thought as he pressed his paws deeper into the snow. Yukine shrugged it off and headed back to camp. On the way back, he ran into Calla and Corvus. "Hey! How's hunting been going for you guys..." He asked nicely.
Finnick pushed back Abel in slight annoyance of the pup laying across his body. Hey get off, fuzz ball he thought as he inched his way closer to Caia's warm belly. The black pup nestled himself in her fur before falling back asleep in the warmest spot yet. Abel shuddered as he yawned before finding his way to dinner.[/fancypost]

Corvus smiled politely while Calla gave Yukine a side ways glance. "God awful." She stated. "We didn't even find any scents to track." She grumbled. Corvus sighed at his sister's grumpy mood and looked up at the young he-wolf with bright grey eyes. "I would normally complain about Calla's terrible mood," He said directing the last half at her. Calla snapped her jaws at her brother with a loud 'clomp!', but he knew she meant it in a teasing manner. "But she is right. Hunting has been poor today." IC~ Alysia nodded, maneuvering to Lithium's side to give her more support. "Let's get you to my den..." She said, beginning to guide her towards the Obea den not too far away. "Where does it hurt?" She asked while padding along with Lithium, going slow so she could keep up without much trouble and irritation of the wound. She didn't get much time to inspect the other she-wolf's wounds, and Lithium knew best where it hurt on her body anyways.

Lithium grunted softly as she was passed on to Alysia, taking a few short breaths as to not irritate her ribs further. "It's nothing... Ribs are just sore... the femme again protested, the embarrassment of being fussed over settling in her chest.

Mara was happy to see Caia her tail wagging as she saw the four tiny pup but when she noticed the uncomfortable looks a confused feeling washed over her. "Their so adorable" she woofed softly trying to lighten up the mood but she caught sight of the pup with the twisted paw. Tilting her head, "was that what this is about" she thought curiously, "just make her an omega or future pup watcher, problem solved" she continued to let her thoughts wonder and shifted her gaze to her own pups.

IC~ "Don't try to hide it, Lithium. You can't lie to me, I can tell it's worse than 'just sore' " Alysia woofed. She continued to help Lithium all the way to the Obea den, then helped her lower herself to the ground. When she finished she turned around and began to poke her way through her collection of herbs, looking for the right ones. She grabbed Comfrey and laid it in front of the she-wolf as well as some daisy leaves. "Here, take these, and some poppy seeds to numb the pain." She said, nudging some poppy seeds towards Lithium.

Kenma stood back up and realigned Scruffy once more, stating, "You're too rigid. It's easier to maneuver when you relax." He stepped away from him and began circling him, continuing, "You need to be loose but alert, as an enemy can come from any direction." He stopped just out of Scruffy's line of vision, then jumped at him, aiming to land just before him to trigger his jump.

IC~ Scruffy nodded at Kenma's advice, looking forward as he dropped down again. He didn't expect the jump, and not expecting it kept his muscles relaxed well enough for him to jump back smoothly as soon as Kenma's form came into his line of sight. He let a yelp escape his lips but he shut them quickly afterwards, cutting the yelp short before he even landed. "Like that?" He asked once again, tilting his head to the side with curious gaze.

Kenma nodded, face passive but impressed nonetheless. "Yeah, good." He shook out his fur, letting out a small sigh before looking up at the sky. "We've been out here a while," he commented idly, before bringing his attention back to Scruffy. "Let's do a few more sets before we go back to the camp." He could feel the breeze begin to seep into his fur, like a breathy chill running up his spine.

Lithium merely did as she was told, shivering lightly as she was helped into a laying position. Her eyes were now squeezed shut, breaths shaky and small. Too deep a breath would mean more pain, and she didn't want that at all, obviously. She swallowed the offered herb and seeds without protest, and began waiting for the medicine to take effect.

IC~ Scruffy nodded, padding back to where he was, using his paw prints as guidelines. Before he dropped, he looked at Kenma "Hey Kenma, who was your mentor when you were my age?" He asked. He never really gave it much thought before, but every once in a while a random thought popped into his head. When those happened he liked to find out the answer.

Alsyia watched Lithium closely "I should probably stay here while you recover, keep an eye on you and all." She suggested. In reality she could leave whenever she wanted, but it was her who didn't want to leave. She wanted to stall for as long as she possibly could, she just couldn't bear the regret and guilt she felt every time she took a pup...OOC~ A hunting group just went out and came back. Lithium got hurt and is in the Obea den, Scruffy and Kenma are training... Uhm... pretty sure it's Yukine and Sataitous (sorry if I mispelled) out doing a border patrol... And Mara and Caia just had their pups but Caia left camp. Alysia found her and they discovered one of her pups is deformed and so Alysia will have to take her out soon. That's all I remember off the top of my head.

A bit surprised by the question, Kenma hesitated for a moment before settling back into a comfortable position. "My mentor? Well, she isn't alive anymore, but her name was Karako. She was quite a large wolf, and a very pretty wolf at that." He jumped at him once more, continuing his story as Scruffy reset himself. "She was a very kind wolf... But she was viscious in battle." He looked at the ground for a moment, gathering his memories. "I can remember many battles where she was the only one to be uninjured. Unfortunately, she didn't pass her battling skills onto me, but onto my brother. We shared her as a mentor." He wagged his tail slightly, looking at Scruffy. "She died of sickness not too long after Kuroo and I were no longer trainees."

After taking a short walk around the camp to calm himself, Kuroo returned back to the Obea's den, poking his head in. "Alysia?" he inquired quietly, unsure if Lithium was awake or not. Seeing the she-wolf sitting up in her nest, he immediately said, "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to intrude... I'll come back later."

Allana slowly woke from her deep slumber, muscles sore as she stretched her paws out in front of her before pushing herself to her feet with a light yawn. She shook herself to wake up more, gazing out over the camp with a low huff before her nose twitched and she caught scent of Alysia and Lithium, smelling blood as well. Ears pricked, she padded down from her seperate den from the pack, heading towards the Obea den to see if everything was okay, when it clearly wasn't. Her muscles with clear power underneath her fluffy pelt, yet her dark blue eyes were kind and worried as she padded over to the Obea's den. From her seperate den up ontop a hill, she had a good view of the Packs camp just in case. "Alysia? May I come in? " Her voice was soft, calm and sure as her ears pricked as she stopped in front of the Obea's den, head tilted as she waited patiently.
