Though his time in BlizzardClan had been short so far, Littlepaw had enjoyed it more than anything. He had been taken care of in his earliest days, when he first arrived, alone, scared, and injured. He had been praised for his skill in painting; he had met many new people; he had received new and wonderful gifts, like the scarf he currently wore. Everyone had seemed friendly, for the most part - a few instances rose in his mind, less friendly and welcoming, but...
And yet, he had no friends, really. He had intermingled with the people of the clan, but he had befriended none, and, sitting alone, he realized how incredibly lonely he felt. All these people felt like friends, but no one actually was.
He was about to curl up into a ball, the weight of loneliness finally sinking in, when he saw her - Divinepaw, he remembered; she had been a paladin in training who had welcomed him to the clan, who had come to talk to him at the New Year's party, and who, just today, had been promoted to Paladin. It must've been a great honor, he was sure...
And yet, as friendly as she was, they hadn't exactly spoken yet. Perhaps they should. Something about her made him want to talk to her, want to be friends - and so, after a bit of wavering back and forth, he approached. [color=#537ca6]"Hey, Divinepaw! Uh, congrats on your promotion today - you really deserved it,"[color=#a1bcd7] he said, smiling shakily. Drat. He didn't know what to talk about, and he was sure she'd had enough congratulations by now.
