    She went into the house, trying to shake the idea that Kai had a feeling that something was going on between her and Adam. She just hoped that Kate didn't feel the same way.

    Kate had a feeling something was up, but that may just have been because she was falling for the kid a few years younger then her.

    "Is dinner ready?" Karmin asked as she came in. "Or do I have to cook tonight?"

    "Starving," she said. "I worked up an appetite."

    "Last day," she told her. "After this, I try and find a real job. I'm a little more down on money than I thought"

    "I remember you said," she nodded. "I'll go out tomorrow. She got a bowl and spooned some food in for herself and also another for Adam.

    "I think Kai cam e in with me," she said. "And Adam was probably a bit earlier. I saw him on my way over," she lied.

    "Hmm? Oh, well I decided there was no point waiting around for more customers," she told the girl. "I don't know about Adam," she shrugged.

    Karmin filled a bowl for Kai. "Finally... another meal with everyone together." she smiled.

    "Compared to Adam's cooking, yes, edible." she nodded.
