  • "Almost got away from you didn't I?" she retorted. "I'm fast, just not through walls."

  • 'But can you outrun horses," He inquired, switching the dagger between his hands.

  • "Karmin glared at him. "Drop the dagger and turn around so I can dress," she told him, raising the sword again.

  • "No," Adrian decided, looking at her. "I don't think I will. See, I noticed you have quiet feet, and quick hands. What's to stop you from ramming the blade through my throat?"

  • "I'd tear out your eyes for those looks you were giving me before that right now," she snapped, angry with him. "Not something I can do through your skull, now is it?"

  • Karmin quickly leaned over and started to get herself dressed again as he was turned. Then there was the sound of metal as she picked up another sword and stuck them into the wall. She didn't pierce through him, just crossing them at neck level, effectively trapping him there unless he wanted to slice himself. "I don't look forward to seeing your mug around." she whispered in her man voice before leaving the armoury.

  • Karmin calmly walked out of the camp. Well, she couldn't be too mad with him, since he had shown the spy where the military camp was. She'd send a messenger pigeon back to her kingdom with the new information.

  • He sighed softly, and gripped the blade of a sword with his hands, trying to pull it free. However, his hands slipped and the blades cut a long gash along the palms. Fortuanately for him, his roar of pain brought men running, and he was able to tell them what they were looking for.

  • Karmin went back to the barn and picked up her blades. Time to move buildings. Although she was tired, she had no choice but to do this. She left the barn, walking quickly in the direction of another town.

  • Adrian's men mounted up, and galloped into the town, with the injured man up in front. Of course he didn't expect to find her right away, but a man could hope.

  • Karmin heard the horses going into town. She ducked into the cover of the busy market place, slowing her pace to blend in.

  • Karmin noticed him out of the corner of her eye and stopped at a stall with fruit. She began looking as though she was just another customer, waiting for him to pass or move on to a different part of town.

  • He walked past her, not really noticing her with the rest of the people around. "Fan out," He ordered, looking around. "Search everyone, and don't let anyone leave yet."

  • Karmin frowned, but 'bought' the orange before walking out of the market place with the same amount of coin as she had walked in with. Zero.

  • Adrian continued searching, but one of the men had noticed her leaving, and hurried after her, calling a warning.

  • Karmin looked over, pealing the orange and appearing uninterested with the soldier. She waved off his warning, continuing on her way. "I've got a pregnant wife back home," she told the man. "The baby is due any day now."

  • "Do you?" He asked, following her. "Funny thing is, the commander's looking for someone who looks like you."
