  • ooc: sorry for the weird response times tonight- trying (or at least pretending) to do homework

want to skip to when they take off? Alice and Hallie and Hatter? Maybe Jamie, too? IDK really what to do with him.

  • ooc: I like might have a plan for Jamie and I kinda can't tell if I want to do it or not but it's a twist ending so you can't know it. Ha.

"Alice, darling..." Cat murmured softly into her ear, hating to ruin the little moment in between the two of them, but knowing it was time to leave. He stopped his gentle stroking of her thumb with his own, looking at thier knitted hands for a long second before dropping them slowly and just leaning forward, resting his chin on her shoulder, wishing he could keep her like this, straddled in between his legs as they just sat on the ground, overlooking a cliff, forever. "Alice, your friends are waking up. And I think you actually have to do things today. You can't just nap the day away with me, as much as I'd adore that..."

  • Alice let out a soft hum, her eyes fluttering ooen at his words. She looked diwn at their intertwined hands, continuing the gently movements against his thumb. "I don't want to go..." she murmured. "I love it here. With you..."

  • "I know. And you know I adore you, every part, and that every second you spend with me here is my happiest moment." He breathed before kissing her neck gently, slowly pulling his hands away from her, hating this part, hating the goodbye-until-tomorrow and the uncertainty he felt each time that she wouldn't come back, but there was nothing he could do. "But you have to go. I failed to make you queen. I'm not about to take that a step further now, darling, and actually stand in your way. Go to them..." He urged softly at the end.

  • "Absoluitely, my darling." he murmured softly, grinning at her for a second before lifting her up, lifting them both up, with a massive pump of his wings, a little smirk across his face, and a victorious shine to his eyes, as he set her down on her feet once again. "A kiss is a request that I will NEVER deny you, my dear." he assured before leaning down and pressing his lips to hers, one hand cradling her jaw, the other resting against her waist lightly, touch just demanding enough to make it clear he wasn't happy with her leaving, and wasn't about to let her go before he had to.

ooc: I'm sorry this took me so long! I was at practice until 6 (every week day, so if I'm not on then, that's why!) and then I went out to dinner.

  • ooc: oh, you're dine. My muse has been crap lately anyways so I've been laying low until I can get a good product...

Alice smiled softly, giggling as he sprung up. When he came close, she just leaned into him, loving the feel
of his hands against her body. She closed her eyes and brought her arms up to gentle drape over his shoulders.

  • ooc: I think you've been great! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Avery. Just putting that out there. ;)

Cat felt her moving to hold him closer and he smiled, finishing off the slow kiss after a few more seconds. He pulled away slowly, knowing that this meant goodbye, and opened his eyes, looking down at her for a long second before smirking and quickly stealing one more small, short kiss, barely more than a peck, though to him it felt like a victory. "Alright, Alice..." he breathed softly, when he pulled away from that one, eyes moving from the light yellow of the short kiss to a perfect, crystal blue. "Come back to me soon, yeah?"

  • ooc: aw really? That makes me feel much better!!

Alice smiled after the kisses, nodding. "Yeah. I'll see you soon, handsome. Don't do anything fun without me..."
she murmured with a playful pout. After that, her body slowly faded and her eyes flickered open to see Hallie over her. She jumped slightly, then groaned. "What?"

  • ooc: :-*

"We're leaving." Hallie announced when she heard Alice's groan, smirking a second later and leaning back, just raising an eyebrow at the girl. "You need your crown. And Hatter needs his hat. Which is, if we're being honest, WAY more important. The poor guy can't work without it. So. Off we go." she announced before looking at Alice, curled up next to the cocoon, and just giving a little snort. "This is weird. Kinda k*nky. Did you tell Cat I think he's an *Ss?" she asked with a smirk at the ned.

  • "This is not k*nkt. I wish you'd stop using that word..." she grumbled, pouting up at Hallie. "He likes when I talk to him, so I stay here and talk to him and I guess I fell asleep. And yes, I relayed the nessage..." she grumbled, smiling the tiniest bit.

  • "It's kind of k*nky." Hallie refuted, looking down at her with a laugh before snorting. "I mean, come on. This is taking 'til death do us part' to a whole new level. Because he's pretty much dead. And you're STILL having none of it." she said before rolling her eyes. "But, whatever. Whatever, I won't argue about it with you. You like your dead guys, I like the hot ones with wings." And I like Hatter. But that's a different story. "WE all get our fix SOMEHOW. Now. Get up. Hatter needs his hat."

  • "I don't know, and I don't care. Like, at all. Couldn't POSSIBLY care less. Thats like, the least relevant thing I've ever heard. Just wear something. Pants, probably?" she suggested before looking at the girl, looking at the cocoon, and then snorting. "I'll get you later." she added before disappearing, and that was it.

When she resurfaced, she found herself right outside of Hatter's room and, after a second of consideration, slipped inside and then cleared her throat. "Well, Hatter?" she asked softly, the title so unfamiliar in her mouth, though she knew it would be weird if she called him by his name. I only ever called him that when he loved me. I wouldn't want to ruin that... "Are you ready?"

  • Alice blah blah. Getting dressed. :D

Hatter looked up, glad his shirt was at meast hiding his chest. It wasn't on yet, but he was in the process of shaking it out to banish some of the wrinkles. He blushed and nodded, quickly yanking it over his head, trying not to reveal his toned chest too much. She hasn't seen that in a while. Maybe she doesn't like it anymore... "Um, yeah. I am now..." he murmured with a soft smile once the shirt was settled over him.

  • Hallie, of course, hadn't missed a thing. And she knew she shouldn't say anything about it, she really did. But, around him, it was like she had no self control, that her mouth just did what it wanted to so, when she heard herself murmuring, "I see that LITERALLY nothing has changed at all..." she just resigned herself to the fact that she was a terrible person, and let her eyes wander over his chest for a teasing second before she looked back at him and grinned slightly, though her cheeks were that soft pink.

"Well?" she asked after a second, clearing her throat, trying her hardest to move past the examination a second earlier. "Any idea where we should start? The crowns go to important places, right? Like, formative memories, birthplaces, the location of life milestones.... That's what you told me. Did I miss anything?" she asked, a little embarrassed by how well she remembered everything he had said but, when you're dead, there wasn't a whole lot to think about. And I missed him...

  • Hatter blushed deeply, just chuckling at her comment. He then bit his lip and smiled over st her, ruffling his hair to make it that messy-ish style he often wkre. At her words, he nodded. "Yep. It will be somewhere very important to the owner. And hopefully my hat will be with it."
