ooc: FUN! That's so exciting!
Alice bit her lip, wincif slightky at her sudden change. "I just told you. He has to come with us. His hatdisappeared with my crown..."
"His hat disappeared with your... No. That's impossible. Why the h*ll would it do that?" She grumbled, glaring at Alice for a second before frowning and disappearing, leaving the girl alone in the room with the gentle glow coming from Cat's cocoon.
Instead, she reappeared right in front of Hatter, refusing to think about how she was able to know exactly where he was, instead just dealing with the issue at hand. "Your hat is gone?" She asked, eyes glowing purple for a second before she took a deep breath and forced herself to relax. "But that's impossible. That's... I mean, thats your hat. What are you going to do without it?" She said, unsure if she was panicking because suddenly his hat, his practical namesake, was gone, or if because that meant he would be coming with them for however long it took to find it. I was okay with a talk. Less than okay. I could barely agree. And now we're traveling together? Living together?
Hatter startled at her sudden appearance, but smiled nonetheless. At her words, he chuckled and sheugged his shoulders. "It just disappeared with her crown, Hal. I have to find it. I'm not entirely shre where to look, though. I've been everywhere in Wonderland..."
"Well, we'll find it. Obviously. It's your hat, you've go to get it back..." She said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the entire world, looking at him for a second before blushing and shrugging. "It's just like all the crowns you make, I'm sure. It'll be somewhere... Wherever it needs you to go. You'll find it in a place that will lead to your growth, or that will provoke an important memory... You know how it goes. Maybe its with the crown." She murmured before giving him a little nudge and grinning, trying to put all her awkwardness aside in order to comfort him, which was actually so much easier, now that he was looking at her and talking to her and everything was kind of returning to normal. "We'll find it."
Hatter chuckled, nodding slightly. "I didnmt doubt it once," he teased. After a moment, he shot her a smile and lifted an eyebrow. "So, do we have to rush off today or could we maybe hang around a little? We could talk?"
"Oh, no. We never rush off. You should see it. We managed to waste about two weeks, here, before we even ended up going to see you..." she said with a little laugh, her hair returning to the soft lavender as they spoke, her eyes lightening and losing their chaotic glow, her entire body slowly returning to what she looked like around him, though she time she didn't really care. "You can stay. I have a great rom for you, I know... And, yeah. We can talk. I think... I think I'd like that. I mean, it's going to be h*ll, and I refuse, right now, to start crying-" she said, giving him a little nudge, letting the conversation take a less serious tone so she didn't feel so awkward. "But I think it'd be good. For me. For us?"
Hatter beamed, running a hand through his shafgy auburn hair with a nod. "Yes, absolutely. It'll be great for us. But, I'd really love to see this room first..." he hummed, excited. "This olace is so strange, I bet the rooms are amazing..."
"I wish I could take all the credit for it, but it's really Cat's old place. You remember him? The d*ck with the wings?" she asked with a little smile, walking past him to lead him towards the door, blushing when her hand brushed against his for a second. God, the spark... It's still there, at least for me... He hasn't changed at all... That smile... I mean, look at that... she thought before remembering Alice and swearing. "Wait, sorry. Wait right here? For just a second? I kind of left Alice in the middle of one of the rooms..." she grumbled apologetically before disappearing in a little poof, reappearing a moment later and smirking down at Alice. "You can get out of here, right?" she questioned after a second, the answer the only thing she really cared about. She can take care of herself from there..
Hatter smiled softly, the gentle brush causing his cheeks to burn. When she quickly disappeared. He laughed, already getting used fo her flighty, spontaneous attitude that he fell for again.
Alice looked up crom where she was laying against Cat's coccon, nodding. "Oh, yeah. Don't worry about me. Um, so what's happening out there?" she asked with a hopeful grin.
"Nothing. There's nothing happening out there. I'm showing Hatter a room. He's coming with us." Hallie grumbled, just kind of glaring at Alice at the end, her hair turning to the long, darker curls, eyes glowing once more as she looked at the girl, slowly losing the happy, domestic bubble she felt when around Hatter. "Nothing's happening. Wipe that stupid smile off your face. What's happening here?" she asked a second later, looking at Alice, snuggled up to the cocoon. "Do I even want to ask?"
Alice blushed snd glred slightly. "I'm snuggling with him..." she responded, biting her lip. "And talking to him..."
"Ookay... Yeah. I'm going to leave." she said with a little laugh, looking at her for a second or two before making a face. "God, I do NOT want to think about that. Tell him he can go f*ck himself. From me, yeah?" she asked with a little snort before looking at them for one more second, rolling her eyes, and poofing away.
"Sorry. Alice still doesn't really know exactly how to work in Wonderland, so I just wanted to make sure she wasn't going to be calling out for me later. You know?" Hallie said the second she reappeared in front of Hatter, her voice actually starting before she had appeared in her entirety. After a second of just standing there, her body already readjusting to his presence, she gave a little nod and smiled, just slightly. "Right. Your room. Ready? Do you have any color preference or anything I should know about before I stick you somewhere?" she asked with a grin.
Hatter grinned as she returned, absentmindedly fumbling with the buttons of his coat. At her words, he laughed and smiled. "I see. And, no. I'll take anywhere with a bed." he announced.
"You'd be surprised. A few of these rooms don't even have that. I think they're made for some of Cat's weirder friends." she announced, looking at him for a moment before blushing and holding out her hands, just slightly, unsure if he'd want to do that. "Um... I can take us right there, if you want. Alice and the Tweedles and Cat's cocoon and Cat's room take up most of this hallway, so it's kind of a long walk... We can do it, though, if you'd like." she finished a second later, blushing slightly.
Hatter paused at her hand, biting at his lip. Slowly, he took it ans flashed her a charming smile. "That would be great. My legs are pretty exhausted..."
"I can imagine. You teleported Alice here? I know that takes a whole lot out of you. But, without your hat... I bet you're tired." she finished weakly at the end, looking at him with a grin before remembering what they were doing and, with that, just blinked out of the room.
"Alrightie, then." she murmured softly when they appeared in one of the rooms, dropping his hands slowly before looking around. "Here you go... Is this okay?" she asked softly a second later, nervous that the room wouldn't be enough for him. It was one of the smaller caves, after all, but the purple crystals that lined the walls were absolutely stunning, and the bed was set in the middle of a large crystal, though the entire thing had formed to look like a graceful flower. "This is one of my favorite rooms..." she found herself murmuring a moment later.
Hatter smiled softly, looking around after the familiar teleportation. When his vision had cleared, he beamed. "Wow! Look a his place..." he murmured. "This is insane..."
"It's okay?" She repeated softly, standing back as he made his way through the cavern, watching him with a little smile before realizing she was smiling and immediately killing the grin. "It was kind of just the next one in line. Right next to Alice, actually, so if she ever needs you or you need her or whatever, I don't know why you would, but you know... Right through the wall." she murmured before nodding. "I'm all the way on the other end, so you don't have to see me too much."
"What makes you think I wouldn't want tonsee you?" Hatter asked, biting his lip as he looked upmat her.
"I just... I don't know. Just wanted to make sure you had the option..." she offered softly, letting her eyes rise up, her gaze locking with his for a long second before she blushed and looked away again, just moving towards the flower, gently resting her hand against one of the soft curved 'petals' a second later. "It's just been a while. And I'm sure you're probably angry, and hurt, and I did that all to you, and... I don't know. I wouldn't want to see me if I was you..." she continued, voice still soft and unsure. "So I moved you down here. This way you have space..."
