To try and push back the truth so no one could see the pain behind their eyes, the ache within their joints. Being placed within multiple hospitals from illnesses, pains, and the works. Yet to them, the most important thing was not telling the outside world. It was easy to paint on a face, to paint on a facade and pretend that everything was perfect, and that became their mission in life. Not striving to get better and get support from family and friends, but to hide in the background with only their immediate family in hospitals far from home, not wanting to be seen. Yet that's where they all meet. From the same school, all with different problems, in the same hospital. To their friends, they had gone on vacation, but this group of misfits knew the truth.
