ooc: hehe no worries ^.^' Sand and Lion are from a different clan. They left their clan with their father and mother because she was expecting and you can only have one bundle of kits in their old clan and the ones born would be killed. They lost their mother in a storm and they were being chased by other cats.

"I know I shouldn't of dragged you into looking for her but I don't know the territory well" Sandpaw continued, "my mother Honeyheart is out there and I need to find her." He stopped as he heard a twig snap. Suddenly a large black tom sprang out of the bush at the two apprentices.

ooc: Riverpaw isnt responding to Lionpaw so imma just make him move on XD

Lionpaw stared blankly at Riverpaw,"maybe its a bad time," he meowed backing away. He turned around and spotted Icepaw. He bounded over to her and stopped right in her tracks. Gazing down into her eyes he greeted her, "hello there Love."

The black tom lock his paws on Hailpaw's shoulders in an attempt to know the apprentice back.

Sandfrost : Oh crap! Sorry I wasn't here, Christmas had me offline for a while, so I couldn't see Lionpaw's post! Perhaps we can still rp the situation? It's alright if you don't want to.))

IC: Riverpaw's pale azure blue eyes enlarged at the sight of Lionpaw, and the sudden realization of his words.
"Oh, come now Lionpaw, you know better than to flirt with a she-cat than to get to know her better," she purred, batting her eyes at the fellow apprentice jokingly. The blue-grey female let out a giggle, and fluffed out her tail to tickle the sunny golden tom's nose with.
"A hunt sounds great, though."

and I rped more about Hailpaw and Sandpaw but i'll re-write it here
also @Hivemind, so you are not confused this tom is a friend of Sand and Lion's father and was helping them run away from their old Clan

Sandpaw's ears twitched as he heard a twig snap. His blood ran cold and his muscles tensed. A large black tom leaped out of a near bush and locked his paws onto Hailpaw's shoulders in an attempt to knock him over. "Leave Honeyheart alone!" the rogue roared at the apprentice. Sandpaw's heart pounded against his chest as the black blur flashed across his eyes.

Lionpaw froze at the sound of Riverpaw's voice. He smiled at Icepaw and quickly excused himself, "errmm my shoulder was hurting but I can see you're busy." He lead close to Icepaw, "I'll visit later," he purred and then turned round and trotted over to Riverpaw. "I didn't mean to offend you gorgeous," he apologised as he pressed his nose against the she-cat's cheek, "I just thought a beautiful cat like yourself should feel what she is."

The bluish she-cat smiled gently, and her gaze met with the larger tom's.
"No need for apologies," she mewed softly, and brushed her flank against Lionpaw as she steadied herself to her paws.
"Do you want to go hunt now?" Riverpaw proposed, completely oblivious to the fight which was occurring on the other far end of camp. The blue-grey apprentice flexed her silvery talon-like claws, and stared out into the distant hunting grounds, tail perked high in eagerness.

ooc: the fight is happening on patrol ^.^'

Sandpaw snapped out of his frozen state at the sound of Hailpaw's demand. He glanced up at the black tom who had used his weight to his advantage to push onto Hailpaw. The older tom was clearly a more experienced fighter and Sandpaw couldn't leave his friend but then the words rang in his head, "leave Honeyheart alone" and he finally saw the black tom for who he was. "Smoke!" he called. The black tom lifted his head up to the call. "Sands?" he replied before looking at the apprentice. "Oh... sorry..." Smoke apologised to Hailpaw backing away. "Sands where's your mother?" he questioned. Sandpaw flattened his ears as he heard his rouge name He felt nervous around Hailpaw, "I don't know I went to go look for her." he explained, "this is Hailpaw. Hailpaw this is my father's rogue friend Smoke. He ermm... was helping us run away." Smoke puffed his chest out and grinned down at Hailpaw, "again, im sorry," he repeated.

Lionpaw's ears twitched at the notion. He turned around and padded after Riverpaw. He kept his body low and whispered, "how about we catch our prey and then I take you to this great spot where we can enjoy it together?" he suggested.

OOC: Gotcha!

IC: Riverpaw felt a tingle of excitement. While she loved the offer, she would have much rather prefer to hunt for herself.
Sweet, though.
"Oh, I'd like to hunt, though," she ventured, tail twitching slightly."But I'd love to share it with you someplace else."

Lionpaw licked Riverpaw on the forehead, "don't worry Sweetheart. I would have suggested I catch prey for the both of us but I thought you were a she-cat who likes the thrill of the hunt" he purred into her ear before bounding off towards the hunting grounds.

ooc: @Moonlight Lionpaw is terrible at hunting XD

Smoke chuckled at Hailpaw "I like this one Sands" he purred nudging the apprentice with his weight. He glanced around and then back to Sandpaw, "where's your mother?" he asked, "can I see her?" Sandpaw frowned, "she is not with us. Like i said we were going to look for her." Smoke hung his head. "If its alright with your leader I would like to help look for her, before I return back to my rouge Clan," he asked Hailpaw. Sandpaw's eyes widened, "ermm I rather we just look straight away. No time to go back and forth. You're a good tom Smoke, im sure its no problem. Right Hailpaw?"

Sandpaw pressed his head against Hailpaw's shoulder, "thank you" he purred. He then looked up at Smoke, "any ideas?" he asked. Smoke shook his head. He wasn't the brightest of cats and that had to be apparent to the apprentices. "When was the last time you saw her?" Smoke asked back. Sandpaw sighed, "last night. And my brother doesn't even care. Well he does but you know him and she-cats. Anyways lets search this way," he leader the clats towards the borders of the clan.

Sandpaw looked over his should, "we got separated in the storm..." he replied. "I am just hoping she found somewhere safe." Smoke frowned, "why aren't we calling for her?" he asked. Sandpaw ears flicked, "well because we're not really meant to leave the borders but I have nothing to lose. Honeyheart!" he called echoed by Smoke.
