    He gave her a surprisingly warm smile,"Ah, but they show a man's soul better than anything else."As Adeline caught sight of the two from her temporary roust on the ladder, she quickly climbed her way down and stride her way across the deck, taking off her hat as if greeting ready to swat again,"Morninh Lizzie. Ares ain't givin' ye trouble again is he?"

    [size=7pt][align=center][color=black] Lizzie smiled as she saw the captain approach the pair. "Nah, just making up for the poor greeting last time, I believe," she laughed over towards Ares. "We were just talking and looking at waves," Lizzie said softly.

    Ares smirked slightly as Adeline replaced her hat on her head,"Ah, that's good to hear. I told ye he warm up to ye, I just didn't expect it to happen so fast."in response to her own smirk, Ares knocked the Captain's hat right off of her head, luckily catching it before it could get swept away in the wind.

    [size=7pt][align=center][color=black] Lizzie laughed and looked at the two. "You two act a lot like siblings, you know? Always fighting." Lizzie giggled and grabbed the Captain's hat. She giggled and slipped it on to her head, not surprised that it was a bit to big, making it slump over her eyes. "But taking your hat it fun," Lizzie said with a smile and a push up of the hat to look at the Captain.

    Adeline huffed and stomped her foot, intentionally acting like a child on the verge of a meltdown,"Gimmie my hat!"she demanded, though couldn't refrain from laughing,"I oughta hang yah for that!"That won a hearty chuckle from Ares. Being as they were both taller than her, Adelind might as well be the youngest sibling. "Ye wouldn't,"he cackled,"I won't worry unless you finally get rid of Silas."

    [size=7pt][align=center][color=black] Lizzie smiled and took the hat off, placing it back on top the Captain's head. "No need, Cap." Lizzie laughed softly shaking her head. Lizzie watched the two act like siblings, only able to laugh at how they were acting. "You definitely are a younger sister, Cap."

    Adeline huffed again, and adjusted her hat to her liking. Ares snicker quietly, walking back to his post at the wheel of the boat. The captain watched after him for a moment, before she started to laugh as well.

    She smirked, raising an eyebrow,"Yes I do,"Adeline said matter-of-factly,"I can't imagine ye'd like me stone cold and emotionless."

    She cackled again,"Ye'd be surprised, my friend,"Adeline smirked as she fixed the front of her hat again.

    Adeline gasped as Lizzy's gesture, though in all honesty she wasn't surprised. She righted her hat once more and scowled, though her eyes were gleaming,"I've got half a mind to hang ye fer that!"

    Adeline chuckled lowly and ruffled Lizzy's hair,"Yer quite a nice change to the ship, Lassy, there ain't many women willing to join a crew such as this one."

    Adeline smirked ever so slightly, but it faded somewhat as the sailer in the crow's nest called out in alarm. The captain spun around to face the horizon, where many others were pointing. The faintest speck sat on the water, at least three miles away, but it didn't take Adeline long to conclude that it was a ship of some sort. She withdrew from Luzzy's affection and snatched the scope away from the on deck look out, peering through the glass with intense interest.

    [size=7pt][align=center][color=black] Lizzie turned her head instantly, allowing her own arm to fall back down to her side. She ran over towards the captain and squinted to try and study the ship. "Great way to start my first day, don't you think?" Lizzie asked with a grin.

    Adeline chuckled as she handed the scope away,"If yer eager fer Navy blood, then aye, tis the best way to start yer career."Without more than a hand wave, the ship changed its course, the sail billowing wildly as it caught more wind, and part of the crew hurried down below.
