— saki kurosawa has never been a very tall individual. standing at five foot two, she is finally coming to terms to with the fact that she'll never be in possession of a physically intimidating stature. though her height is unfortunate, she has decided to spend her time toning her body and staying fit while she tries not to get eaten. ah, joy to the world. now, via running and climbing, she has gained lean muscle, speed, endurance, and strength. the last time she stepped on a scale, she weighed one hundred ten pounds. this number may have changed.

height and weight aside, saki considers herself to be very plain and average visually. her milky-pale skin is soft and smooth but prone to sudden waves of oiliness. in her opinion, both her sea green eyes framed by thick black lashes and her small button nose are boring. her ears, though normal in size, tend to stick out slightly and her full lips are too easily chapped. the silvery white mane of wavy, chest-length hair is easily tangled and requires much care. everything that she sees in a mirror or a clear pool of water could be made better, and that is why she never calls herself beautiful. despite her own analysis of herself, she is considered pretty by some.

saki has a couple scars from her childhood along with the ones that she earned fighting zombies and other people. she normally wears a weird dark gray clothing item that -- excluding the nonexistent sleeves and toe covering -- covers her whole body. on her arms, she wears long, dark gray gloves that almost come all the way up to her shoulder and have a hole on each for her thumbs to peek out. this outfit may seem inefficient, but it works for her and she's too lazy to find something else to wear. she sometimes wears a black cloak over the suit thing. after her tennis shoes got worn out, she had to settle for black combat boots, but she's currently on the lookout for another pair of tennis shoes. other than those things, she doesn't really wear much else.

— like some other survivors, saki keeps a belt around her waist. this belt has a pistol holster and a blade sheath as well as a medium-sized pouch in the back that holds her ammo, first-aid materials, and a pistol silencer. unknown to her group, saki also has a separate hideout where she keeps some extra supplies for herself. this is a precaution for if things ever turned sour.

— (warning: possible triggers) if you ask her about her younger years, saki will frown and tell you that she had a decent childhood before taking action to ensure that you don't inquire any further. you see, saki was raised on the streets; both her mother and father were homeless and unemployed. growing up, she either had to endure many days without a single bite to eat or fight other homeless children for scraps. her father was the typical worthless drunk who wasted his family's meager savings on alcohol because he was too ashamed to face the life he was living like a proper human being should. saki's mother was the epitome of a spineless, pathetic woman who had no idea how to live without a husband, so she stayed with the man who used her over and over again. realizing that she would never be able to rely on either one of her parents, saki seperated from them and managed to survive on the streets by herself. though it wasn't easy and she suffered defeat many times, saki was finally able to establish a place for herself in the world of the homeless and hopeless. unfortunately, things turned sour. once the apocalypse started, saki quickly decided that it would be best to acquire some pawns. gathering together some stragglers, she created group two and established herself as leader.
