"It doesn't even seem like we've been travelling with each other for very long yet we've established a psychic connection with each other," I chuckled. "So, where should we 'investigate' first?" I asked her, using the word 'investigate' instead of 'visit' or a word with the same likeness in definition just in case the secretary could stil hear us.

I smiled at him when he said that. It was nice to have someone around that just understood things like he did. It really was. " Well I think I heard there was a pipe leaking on the top floor." I stated and winked at him. We then got to the elevator. I pressed a button and we soon got in.
-
"You're better at this than I thought you would be for some reason," I commented to her behaviors. "Besides, we're not doing anything bad. We have no intention on going on a vandalism rampage, we just want to check this place out a bit. We'll probably find something wrong and fix it. With that in mind, we're not entirely lying about being maintenance."
-
" Why thank you." I told him. I slowly nodded in agreement to his words. " I mean, wherever we go trouble or a problem always seems to find us. At least we can always fix it or manage it." I admitted.
-
"Exactly," I commented. "We're more like the maintenance workers that show up before the maintenance workers are needed."
-
" I like that. It suits us well." I admitted. It really did. I pressed the button to get to the top floor. The ride was very fast. We were soon there. I got out once there. I looked around with a smile on my face

OOC; Don't know if you know this already but the BBCShop UK is closing down at the end of the month so all DVDs are 70% off and most all merchandise is 80% off. Might want to check it out. That is all.
IC; "It really does suit us," I agreed. "Now, where exactly do you think that leaky pipe was? Perhaps in a bathroom or a janitor's closet, that sounds like the most logical place to look first."
-
i already ordered a bit of stuff. Thank you for telling me though!!))
" I'll handle the leaking pipe. I heard someone talking about it in the main lobby. You go find the coolest place in the building. Meet by the elevator is around twenty." I told him. I then headed off. I quickly took care of the pipe, it being very easy to do. Then I went to the elevator.
-
OOC; No problem! Good to know that you found out about it yourself. It's too good of a deal to not at least check. Shipping for me is rather expensive but I'm getting a couple things that make the shipping worth it. Series 3 soundtrack, an encyclopedia (9-10 w/ Martha), and The Writer's Tale: The Final Chapter. Ordering it later tonight as I'm having technical difficulties. About $37 for me but so worth it as one of the books is $25 here. I'm actually saving money! It's going to take forever to get here though so that's a bit of a downside. Can't wait to read the books! (namely The Writer's Tale). What did you get? Probably a lot more than me considering shipping for you is free.
IC; "The coolest place, what would the coolest place be..." I trailed off in thought, attempting to answer her question under my breath after she rushed off to fix the pipe. "Probably the senate room itself, that's the coolest place I can think of and I already know where that is." Having made that conclusion, I headed back over to the elevator.
-
i have my bill for it printed back at my flat. I'm actually in Manchester at the moment. I don't know everything off the top of my head. I ordered some box sets and figurines. That's all I can remember.))
I saw that he was there before I was. " So did you come up with a place?" I inquired once I made it up to him. " And the pipe was an easy fix. Shouldn't have any more troubles with it anymore." I added on
-
OOC; Nice! I wouldn't be able to view the box sets, even though it would be an excellent price for them, I already have the ones that I want, and figurines aren't worth it to me. The books and the soundtrack are, though! Let me know the specifics, out of my own sheer curiosity about what you bought (he he, I'm not a stalker).
IC; "So that's all fixed, now we can go explore and know that we aren't lying about being maintenance," I commented. "The senate room itself is the most interesting place I can think of at the moment and I know exactly where that is. Does that spark any interest in your little human mind?" I asked. "No offense."
-
I got the figurines for some of my old friends back in America. One of their birthdays is coming up and they really wanted them. I will when I get home!))
" In fact is does spark interest. And I do not have a tiny human mind. That si rude." I frowned at him when he said that. " Well then lead the way, you and your "big" timelord brain." I put air quotes around big and looked at him after I crossed my arms across my chest
-
OOC; That's nice of you. Getting the things to give to others while they're at their absolute cheapest. The box sets are probably going to be great as well! I was really the most excited about the books! All the cheap books! There was one smaller one, just over 100 pages, that was .80 pounds! I decided not to get it because it would have been about 5 dollars and I didn't really want it and I can get it here in America for not much more so it wasn't that big of a loss.
IC; "It's not my fault that Time Lords just have a larger brain that is capable of containing more information than yours. It's not even me being biased with that, comparatively and scientifically, your human brain is smaller than my Time Lord brain," I stated. "Then that's where we will go!" I exclaimed before hitting the basement level button on the elevator selection menu. "Don't sit on any of the large black chairs though, members of the public aren't allowed to sit there."
-
My friends are really important to me. Especially these ones. They have helped me through hard times so they deserve it.
That's cool!))" I know but you didn't have to make that comment like that. That was very rude. Even you have to admit that." I stated. " I'm guessing those are for higher leveled members in society." I guessed. We soon got there and I stepped out of the elevator. I looked around with somewhat wide eyes.
-
OOC; Friends are just wonderful. It's also not like you have to pay 7.50 (pounds) for any singular piece of merchandise and 2 pounds for each additional piece of merchandise. You get free standard shipping. Lucky! If I had such privilege I would have gotten SO MUCH MORE! (pun intended)
IC; "No, not really 'higher members of society', those are the chairs that the senators sit in. It's viewed as offensive if someone other than the senator that the chair belongs to sits there," I informed her. "You could be the Duke of Manhattan but you still couldn't sit in one of the black chairs."
"Isn't it just beautiful, though?" I asked. "Ah, the smell of democracy!" I exclaimed but not too loudly, I didn't want anyone to know that we were in here when we shouldn't be. Worst comes to worse we could say we were checking the lightbulbs.
-
Yes they are.
cx))" That's interesting. In the parliament it isn't too offensive to sit in the seats. But I guess America is different." I admitted. I continued to look around the room. " Look at the work of architecture that they have done! The way they sculpted the marble is absolutely beautiful, don't you think?" I asked him. I couldn't help but laugh when he said, the smell of democracy. I grinned at that. " I would laugh if we got caught." I said truthfully.
-
OOC; Well... Didn't get to place my order yet and now the main thing I wanted is out of stock. Looks like I won't be placing an order then. I am now scouring Amazon for a new copy that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I just REALLY want this goddamn book! Curse me and my admiration for Russell T. Davies!
"I'd be able to flip up my psychic paper and we'd be saved but I don't exactly take pride in using it," I stated. "The more we can avoid getting caught, the better it'll be," I said. "This isn't really even America, it's just a mix of democracy from millennia ago, even more so than that, it's been billions of years since these systems were in place and they still work with modifications," I informed.
-
That stinks! I'm sorry about that!))
" Would anyone know of you here or no?" I asked him curiously. I honestly had no clue. He might've been just drowned out with other names that passed through headlines or the whispers in the streets bi listened to him speak and slowly nodded. " That's interesting." I admitted.
-
OOC; Ordered it elsewhere! Bit the bullet and paid a bit more for it. Read the Kindle sample of it and absolutely loved it, as well as learned about things that almost happened. Did you know that series 4 was originally going to have a companion named Penny?
IC; "Maybe yes, maybe not, I'm not the most sure of the current time and where it falls into my timeline of appearances," I stated. "If there is then only goodness will come from it. Unless they were heavily associated with the sisters of plentitude."
-
I did not know that. Wow the book sounds really interesting and I haven't even read any part of it!))
I nodded in agreement. I let a comfortable silence set in as we walked around. A light smile made its way to my lips. " Man I wish that people from our time could see things like this. It's really amazing." I admitted softly
