    Topaz the kits silver fur rippled as she stalked the butterfly. Her brilliant blue eyes focused solely on the purple butterfly she pounced. she landed hard in a tangled heap of kitten limbs and watched the butterfly fly away. "phoo," she mumbled as she sat up and pretended nothing had happened.

    "Hi!" Stagdance meowed, the young tom kit himself wanted to play with others! "Can I play with youu?"

    "I'm Stagdance!" He meowed with a grin. "I'm only four moons, how about you?" The young tom asked. He was really eager to make a new friend.

    Topaz sat up sat up trying to look important, " I'm going to be five moons in a couple of days! " She smiled at the other kit, he seemed nice, "I was chasing a butterfly, but it got away... Do you wanna help me to catch it?"

    "You're gonna be a to-be soon!" He exclaimed with a small smile. Stagdance smiled when she asked him to help her find the butterfly she was chasing. "Okay!" He meowed excitedly. "I'll help you!"

    " Thanks!" Topaz smiled then glancing around she saw the butterfly, "There it is,come on!" She dashed off after her quarry, not waiting for a reply.
