Arvel ventured through the old, abandoned barn. If they intended to live here they needed to at least make this place livable. That meant places to sleep, places to grow and store food and water, possibly an armory or somewhere to put ammo and extra guns, and last but not least a few guard posts. Arvel glanced up towards the loft of the small barn. That hayloft door up there would suffice as a good guard post. They could use the hay and some fabric to make some mattresses until they got the chance to scavenge for some real beds. The stalls in this old barn could work as rooms for everyone. There were at least eleven stalls, maybe three people could fit in each? 33 people? That'd certainly be a large settlement. Arvel walked over to a stall, peering inside. It was mostly empty though the shavings inside would have to be removed in order for someone to be comfortable in there. He grabbed a shovel, rolled up the sleeves of his shirt, and set to work cleaning out the first of many stalls.ooc: Sorry for inactivity. Hopefully we can get this thread going again.

I stared at it bitterly, and Lia glanced at me, while Cia kept her tail down whimpering slightly. ``Whats wrong Cia, Erith?`` Lia asked gently. I stared softly at her, before glaring down at the house. ``This is the house I killed my parents in.. Or my house.`` I said bitterly. Lianza grinned at me. ``You have air hockey?`` I scoffed. ``Of course I do!`` And then we rushed in to play. Strange, two girls play while the others relax in a house in the middle of the apocalypse.
