  • Ooc: I'm sure he'll find one!! Don't worry!

    Nettledpaw-
    Nettledpaw followed the patrol.

    Witheringpetal-
As Witheringpetal finished her meal she realized that she should check her stores and check how the herbs are growing back. "I going out." Witheringpetal told her leader.

    Dappledheart-
Dappledheart wanted something to do. "I wish I had an apprentice.." He mumbled to himself.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px;][justify]Pinepaw nodded to Blizzardfur. So they were going to do some training together? That seemed fun. At least he wouldn't have all the attention on him for once; He didn't like being watched for long amounts of time, particularly whilst training on his own with his mentor. It put him under pressure. "Do you know if they're going to take long?" He murmured gently, looking back up to Blizzardfur.

/ Pinepaw could develop a crush on Nettledpaw as well and begin to act all shy when he's around her :3c Also, if Blizzardfur is crushing on anyone, Pinepaw could act as a little wingman at times xD

  • Ooc; ; lol, yeah, the wingman idea is cute ;D and Blizzardfur can help with Pinepaw's crush on Nettlepaw

Blizzardfur looked at the sun. "It shouldn't be too long now before they return." He reassured him. He got to his paws and shook out his pelt. "In the meantime, show me some of the fighting moves I taught you." He prompted the young apprentice, before sitting down and wrapping his tail neatly over his paws.

  • Bonedust raised his nose to the air and tried to take a whiff of what he had just seen. He decided to crouch like Ravengrace had done and started to creep forward. Bonedust stepped lightly on the ground beneath him, as to not scare away the possible prey, and leveled his tail with his body to steady himself. He started to inch ahead of Ravengrace and soon got to a rather large bush where the scent was very strong. Bonedust still did not recognize it though.

  • Badgerpelt continued to move through the undergrowth, making his pawsteps soft in the dirt, his maw hanging open, trying to pick out scents among the thick musk of the forest. Rat dung! There's nothing out today! As if I catch it if there was anything... He stepped into a bush and waited, seeing if he could catch anything off guard.

  • Nettledpaw-
Nettledpaw whispered to her mentor "I'm going to try and catch some prey!" Then she turned around sniffing the air and padded off quietly into the forest.

    Witheringpetal-
Witheringpetal padded into the forest. She sniffed the air to find out if there were any herbs growing nearby.

    Dappledheart-
Dappledheart approached his leader and asked "Is there anything I can do to help right now?"

  • [align=center]Ravengrace
Ravengrace kept her mouth open, "lizard or vole, I can't determine which because it reeks of both here." She breathed almost silently. Ravengrace leaned back to show Bonedust she would let him try to catch it. "I'll wait here if it runs this way." She slowed her breathing and positioned her stance to put her center of gravity in the center of her body.

  • Bonedust mewed quietly "I'm not sure," He glanced at Ravengrace "It smells like something else." He smiled a little bit, intrigued by something possibly new. Bonedust decided now was the right moment to jump forwards onto the creature. Instead of landing on the ground like he had predicted, Bonedust felt his claws sink into something much larger than a vole or lizard. Shocked and scared, the white tom leaped off of it. A thick furred dark grey creature loomed in front of the hunting patrol. A wolf.

Foxcloud watched her apprentice quietly go to seek prey in the forest when she noticed the commotion near Bonedust and Ravengrace, quickly the she cat perked up her ears and turned to call out for her apprentice who she hoped hadn't gone too far.

  • Nettledpaw-
Nettledpaw smelled a vole and pinpointed it. She quickly caught it and went to go find her mentor. She heard Foxcloud calling and quietly ran the rest of the way. She dropped the fat vole at her paws. "You called?" She said jokingly.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px;][justify]/ That'd be awesome! x3

He had to show Blizzardfur what he was taught? Pinepaw swallowed nervously. He hadn't done all too well in his previous training session, but at least this was a good opportunity to practice the moves again, right? "I-I'll try the one where I slide under my opponent and knock them off balance," Pinepaw stated, glad he'd picked one of the easier moves to perform. He inhaled a sigh and shuffled back a little so he could shift into a preparation crouch.

The apprentice waited a few moments in his position until he suddenly burst forwards, running at tremendous speed towards Blizzardfur. Once he was about two tail-lengths away from his mentor he lowered himself to the ground and skidded under his mentor's legs, attempting to knock him off balance with his paws. When he appeared on the other side of Blizzardfur he did his best to get back on his feet but instead, slipped and stumbled forwards nose first with a small yelp. "Mouse-dung, so close!" He hissed.

  • Badgerpelt caught a whiff of something slightly familiar, kinda like a dogs scent, something he was familiar with from his life in the city. He started following that scent, confused on why it was so close to the clan. He heard a slight commotion of his clan mate, and he started bolting to the scene as fast as his short legs would take him, ignoring the instinct in the back of his mind to save himself .

  • Nettledpaw-
"What's Badgerpelt doing?" She asked her mentor as she watched him dash off.

    Witheringpetal-
Witheringpetal limped along. She heard voices ahead and headed towards them. She saw Foxcloud, Nettledpaw, and a few other warriors. "If I hadn't hurt myself that one time I might be standing with them. But No! I got myself injured and almost killed! And now I'm stuck with this job..." She grumbled to her self. She turned away from the scene and kept walking towards the spot that had most catmint. When she got there she saw that they were slowly growing back. "Good." She murmured to herself.

Ooc- someone hear Witheringpetal! Please! It'll be fun!

  • OOC: Might as well be Redpaw

IC: Redpaw scanned the forest. He had woke up earlier than most from a bad dream that he had awoken from, about his father. Like usual. He hated his parents. He hated most of the Clan alot of the time. They always thought bad of him. Always thought he'd turn on them like his mother and father.
He padded along the forest only to hear his mentor, muttering something about her injury. He gave an exasperated sigh as he turned and spotted Witheringpetal gazing at a patch of catmint. "Witheringpetal?" He called out to her.

  • Ooc: Redpaw is Witheringpetal's son? With who? :o :D

    Ic:
    Witheringpetal -
"Hello Redpaw." She said without turning around. After she finished examining the newly growing catmint patch, She turned and said "would you like to join me in my little walk?"

  • OOC: Sorry, I didn't mean Witheringpetal was his mother..

IC: Redpaw narrowed his eyes. "Sure." He mumbled. That was one of Redpaws habits. The eye narrowing. He was one of those cats who always expected the worst. The young tom didn't really "like" Witheringpetal. He thought she was weird, and he didn't trust her. But, Redpaw really didn't trust anyone.

OOC: Sorry that wasn't too much of a detailed paragraph.

  • Ooc: whew! She might have kits later on though... ;)

    Witheringpetal-
She glanced in Redpaw's direction only to see that he had his eyes narrowed. A lot of people didn't trust her. Only Foxcloud and their leader trusted her. She ignored it for now but it still made her a little sad. "Come along then." She sighed. She padded deeper into the forest to find more herbs.

  • [align=center]Ravengrace
Ravengrace froze, an unavoidable flashback took control of her.

"Run Ravengrace! Warn the clan! I'm not fast enough to run ahead!"

"Alright Owlflight! I know you can lose them!"

Snapping back suddenly, Ravengrace realized she couldn't help Bonedust if the wolf was fast enough. "Run Bonedust! Run like your life depends on it!" She hissed shrilly. "I'll fight it off!"

OOC: I was not expecting a wolf :o

  • Blizzardfur slipped and fell on his side. He scrambled to his paws and faced Pinepaw. He launched himself at him and pinned him to the ground. "That was good technique, stamina, and speed when you attacked me, but you put so much momentum into the attack that misjudged your ending stance. Try and time the perfect launch next time."
