[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width:350px;][justify][size=10px]The instant Will woke up, his mind went to the herbs he had collected the past few days. He needed to know if he had collected enough, then he could stop worrying about them for now. The canine padded to the academic room - it was hard for him to learn to call it the turtledove room - and looked at his storage. There seemed to be quite a bit. He was very tired lately, and had a thought once of asking Maggie to do one of the things he was supposed to do. That thought left him instantly even though she was learning what he did. He didn't want Maggie to do things she didn't have to. Like worry about him. He looked over to her list she made and chuckled at her hand - or paw - writing. It was cute, but a bit scribbly. From the looks of it, Will had the empire stored up on every herb he thought they'd need. He let out a relieved sigh and some of the tension in his shoulders released. Now he could focus on other things like seeing the empire, not this room or his own bedroom.

((Some action to start us off. xD)
Faith had been conducting her usual activities which consisted mostly of exploration and such. One thing led to another, and now she found herself in a spot of trouble; the kit was backed up against a large fallen tree trunk on the outermost grove in the territory, her attacker inching closer and closer with angered snarls. The fox kit had managed to do something to irritate the beast, and it had promptly chased after her. Chest heaving and right front paw held to her chest protectively, Faith realized briefly that she may not be able to get out of this one.

Awkward bump. xD

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width:350px;][justify][size=10px]//omg sorry! I've been so busy
Walking into the forest, Will heard shuffling nearby. Furrowing his eyebrows, the wolf glanced around. "Hello?" he called, stepping around a bit more before seeing the scene before him. A small, young female seemed to be being attacked by a larger red fox. He growled slowly before leaping a the fox, careful to not hurt the victim beside him. "Get out," he snapped with his voice deep and quiet, putting more pressure on the fox below him before letting it run, watching it's tail as it darted into the forest beyond. Exhaling slowly, Will turned his gaze back towards the female. "Are you okay?" he asked, blinking at her.
-
Faith watched the exchange with wide eyes, admiration dawning in her reddish brown gaze. When the confrontation had ended, the kit stumbled forward quickly, and ended up toppling over when she put too much pressure on her paw. Still, though, she was grinning, large ears perked with her excitement. "That was so cool! Thanks!"
-
[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width:350px;][justify][size=10px]The wolf stepped back a little when she fell, then realizing he should have stepped forward and helped her. "Sorry," he mumbled quickly, helping her up from her fall, gazing at her paws to see which one was injured. Before he could go on about healing one of those, though, he heard her excited words. Looking back up at her face, Will blinked for a moment, not sure how to respond. "Um, you're welcome," he ended up saying, briefly smiling at her before looking back at her paws. "What happened? Is one hurt?"
-
Faith's attention was then directed back towards her front right paw, and she flinched. Glancing down at the swelling appendage, she bit her tongue, before replying softly. "I might've sprained my paw or something... But it's fine!" she spoke hurriedly.
-
[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width:350px;][justify][size=10px]"Even if you sprain it, it's not fine," he spoke, a warning in his tone. He knew most people, like him, would deny needing help, and that was exactly why he was so persistent on giving it. Will was close to asking if she could walk to the turtledove room with him, but realized there were some herbs that
his roleplayer was too tired to look upwhere perfect for healing such injuries. The wolf quickly went to grab said herbs before he came back and set them down. "Could you not put any pressure on it? Lying down or holding it up will do," he said. -
Faith had been about to protest the help, but no words escaped, and she simply did as she was told, holding up her afflicted paw. The kit's muscles tensed automatically as she awaited whatever he had in store for the injury; experience said that this would most definitely hurt. "S-Sorry..." she muttered after a moment, before falling silent once more.
-
[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width:350px;][justify][size=10px]He began to squeeze liquid out of the plants he had just gathered. After this, he would most likely need to put a wrap on her paw to make sure the liquid would sink in and do its job. Carefully, Will dabbed it on, knowing that it would hurt a tad bit. He heard her apologize quietly and looked up at her, confused. "What are you sorry about?" he inquired, his ears swiveling forward.

Faith winced only slightly, attempting to tug her paw away momentarily before forcing herself to relax. Her large ears flicked at his question, and she shrugged. "I dunno... I guess that you had to come out here and save me..." the kit murmured in reply, tensing as if she expected to be harmed.

Bump + MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
-
[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width:350px;][justify][size=10px]Will watched her for a moment, wondering why she would be sorry for such a thing. It was fine, as he had needed something to do outside his rooms. He blinked at her for a moment before a warm smile appeared on his face. "That's fine, don't worry about it." Will then wrapped her paw in a leaf with the liquid keeping it together like tape. After he made sure it would stay, he looked back up at her. "I don't think we've met before. My name's Will Graham."
//Merry Christmas to you, too!
-
Faith smiled once more in reply, gaze lighting up at his words. "Okay!" her voice rang as clearly as a bell. The kit then pushed herself up into three legs, newly bandaged paw held up near her chest and fluffy tail wagging in the way a dog's would. "Nice to meet you, Will! I'm Faith!" she replied quite proudly, confident in her own name. Huh... She liked this Will character, maybe he'd become her first friend? Big golden-brown hues lit up at the thought.

Bump~
-
[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width:350px;][justify][size=10px]A quiet chuckle escaped his mouth as he saw Faith bounce up. There were a few others like her, he remembered. Lily was first, and then she turned on them. Then there was Maggie who was still here, though her innocence was going away slowly. Hopefully Faith, if she could, would stay like this for a long time. "It's nice to meet you, too, Faith," he barked, standing back. He didn't really remember what he had been doing before he helped the female, but he didn't mind too much.
-
Faith merely grinned the usual mischievousness flashing across her golden brown hues. She made the small mistake of letting her paw press against the ground, tired of holding the limb up. This elicted a grimace from the tiny kit. Wait! An idea! Since she very well could not walk... The femme somehow managed to pull herself atop the canine's back, and even went so far as to perch atop his head, a proud grin upon her expression. "Onward!"
-
[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width:350px;][justify][size=10px]He hadn't known what was happening before it was too late. At first, when he saw her wince, he was about to have her lean on him, but then the look in her eyes distracted him. There were so many things that could have happened. She could have lured him over to that part of the forest, knowing he was the turtledove, and have others attack the empire with no one except Maggie to heal. Or she could have others to capture him. But, no. His thoughts were on betrayal, though all she did was something far from it. And quite cute. Will leaned down a bit once he realized what was happening. Oh, wow, she was climbing up to the furthest she could get. "How's the view from up there?" he asked, hoping so hard that he wouldn't drop her. He could already see the consequences from this. His eyes looked up, but he didn't turn his head with them.
-
Faith kept right on grinning, settling down upon his head and curling her fluffy tail upon her paws, the tip falling down into his face briefly in a playful movement. "Awesome! I wish I was as tall as you!" the kit replied enthusiastically, large ears perked at every interesting sound that her advanced hearing could pick up. "Hey... Why were you all the way out here, anyway?" she inquired curiously soon after, tail flicking on interest and large honey-hued gaze wide.
-
[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width:350px;][justify][size=10px]As he listened to her response, he tried to blow the piece of tail out of his face. He let out a laugh, a grin on his face at her actions and words. "I wasn't this tall too long ago," he barked, his tail wagging ever so slightly. It was nice to be happy like this. His tail then lost it's wag as he went into thought. "I think I was finished with my work, which hasn't happened in awhile. I might have been out on a walk, but I don't really remember. You being attacked sort of made me forget," he replied, trying to look at her on his head.
