Clementine Gabriel Harbinger.
A shiba inu with a strange name and a stranger life. She was a demon. A pure bred hellspawn of the one and only Nosferatu. God, it was f*cking weird think about. She wasn’t given any choice, she was just thrust into a world where mortals roamed and lived in fear of what she was. She was a monster. She had killed with no remorse before other a mere necklace that another demon had given her. She had taken the life of that Colouredclanner without a second thought. She’d just killed him. She was the reason that one family out there had to mourn over the loss of a son. Hell, for all she’d known, the guy could have been a father yet she snatched him away from his children. However, the worst thing of all? When she did it and even now she couldn’t care less. To her kind mortals were toys, just there to be played with and then thrown to the side. And every now and then an immortal has a temper tantrum and flips out, taking away a life that was important to someone out there. Yet they played god and took lives away.
A monster.
That was what she was.
A monster.
An immortal monster that could never die and would always plague the earth with her horrible actions.
But little did she know, her life was about to get a hell of a lot worse. She was going to become more than just a demon. More than just a monster.
The shiba inu wasn’t aware of how small she was. She was tiny compared to all of her friends. Hell, Caleb could put her on his head. That was how little she was. Clem was deep in thought about this as she made her way along the beach to her house, shoulders slumped and eyes focused on the grass that was started to turn into sand. She had ventured onto some dunes quite far from everyone else to think. The long blades of dry grass had begun to aggravate her so she was wandering back down to Sunclan’s main place. She hadn’t realised that night had settled silently over the place and it was about time that she went back to living life normally again. She would have to go back into civilization from the brief solitude she had been sat in and wasn’t sure whether she wanted to return yet. Oh well, she had already started so there was no need to stop.
The roar of the ocean was surrounding her as if she was on a small island completely surrounded by the water. She took a deep breath, ears pinning back to her head. The sound of the waves would be soothing to anyone else but not her. One of her biggest fears was to drown. To be plunged under those icy cold waves and be tossed around by the water like a rag doll. In a way the ocean was the equivalent to those immortal beings that abused their powers and ran rampant. It killed with no mercy and no second thought. Even though she couldn’t die, the mere thought of breathing in salt water and it just filling up her lungs made her feel like vomiting. Clem just didn’t want to drown. Then again, who would want to willingly drown? Who would want to be thrown into the water where they would be controlled and destroyed by the waves?
She shuddered, looking out to the sea of moving darkness, shaking her head and focusing back onto the twinkle of lights down the beach. As she walked she felt a sense of unease. As if someone had their eyes fixed on her petite form and were watching her. She took a shaky breath, not bringing herself to look around in mild fear that something would leap from the shadows and attack her. She just kept her head down and carried on walking. After another few minutes of the feeling, she chanced a glance and looked around. There was nothing but darkness. The only light around her was her gem necklace which had turned into a clear diamond, glowing and casting a faint, rather dim ring of light around her. She could swear that she caught a glimpse of red eyes though.
With this in mind, she quickened her pace, eager to be amongst those she loved again. Eager to not be where she currently was. ”Ooo, is little doggy scared?” a voice broke into the quiet. Clementine couldn’t help it. She froze on the spot and went rigid, muscles tensed up as she fixed her eyes on the ground. She heard pawsteps in the sand now and it sounded as if she was trapped. ”Now now, no need to be scared. I just want to eat. I am rather hungry and a little Clementine like yourself will most likely quench my hunger” the voice spoke as she saw paws in front of her now. They were white and splattered with a dark maroon substance which she assumed to be blood. It looked slightly fresh as she noticed the glimmer it gave in the light.
Her eyes slowly moved upwards until she came face to face with red eyes. The sclera was a deep charcoal black and she had to look away to prevent herself losing herself into those eyes. ”I-I killed you. And you want to eat me? W-What are you? Some sort of cannibal?” the shiba inu said shakily, gulping as she turned her hazel gaze back to those haunting red eyes.
”A cannibal? No, similar but no. I am a ghoul and I am going to take from you whether you like it or not. And I don’t just die that easily” Kosui barked, a sinister grin on his face as he stepped forwards, towering over the small Divine. She frowned, stepping away and snarling in an attempt to look fierce but it wasn’t that successful and resulted in the pure white husky laughing. His laugh twisted into something more. Something that made her unease skyrocket into the heavens. It was pure glee, ecstasy that he had found a meal. The shiba inu let an uncharacteristic whimper rip from her throat as she stumbled back, crouching and growling in another pitiful attempt to make the thing back off.
What the hell was a ghoul anyway? Her father hadn’t warned her about any of these *ers. And it was similar to a cannibal? This was all so surreal and Clementine didn’t like it. Before she knew what was happening, the ‘ghoul’ advanced and leapt forwards. She saw his jaws open wide, saliva dripping as his red eyes were hungrily fixed on her neck. Then it came. Pain. Pain like she had never experienced ever before. He clamped his jaws down and she felt his sharp fangs sink deep into her soft flesh. He tore at it with such urgent hunger as if he had been craving flesh for a long time. She let out a soft scream, not able to muster the strength to call out to the others. She was knocked backwards and rolled over, sand sticking to her now damp fur and getting in the bite wound. She looked at it and felt tears stream down her face, blood gushing from her neck and shoulder. Her attention was then brought to the ghoul that stood before her, shoulders hunched as they heaved, blood dribbling down their chin. Flesh in their teeth. Her blood. Her flesh. As Kosui breathed heavily, she noticed the grin dominant on their features. She took the opportunity to flee, getting to her paws and darting into the darkness, limping as blood trailed behind her.
”NOT SO FAST HEHE”
Clementine felt the wind rush past her as something whizzed past her head before she felt something stab into her back. She was dragged back, a scream tearing from her throat. But that scream was swiftly silenced as she choked on her blood, spluttering and coughing. Clem felt herself lift up and was left dangling in the air, something in deep in her back. She dangled upside down, eye to eye with the ghoul again. ”You think I’m going to let my prey go so easily?” he sneered, breath stinking like rotten flesh. ”Go and eat some mints you bastard was her icy retort, struggling with all her might before spitting her blood into his face, blinding him for a short amount of time. She had enough time to get away.
He swung his kagune, sending her flying off. She crashed into one of the dunes, blood leaking out onto the sand. A light moan came from her lips and she heard growling nearby. However, she had no strength to move. She would ‘die’ here. Well, she couldn’t die but she would be critically injured and practically dead. The husky loomed over her once again, fangs bared as he was ready to feast on her. He was ready to tear her limbs off and munch on her flesh as if she was some sort of banquet. She sobbed, weakly swinging her paw in a final attempt to ward off her attacker. But what could she do against a ghoul? Kosui would just impale her with his kagune again. That was until a blur flashed past and a scream sounded but was swiftly cut off. Before she could see what was happening, her vision blurred and then faded to black…

Clementine opened her eyes with a moan, going to sit up but not able to properly. She just flopped back down on the dunes and fell back unconscious. If anyone was to look close enough they would notice the stitches near some of her vital organs.
