BlizzardBone dug into the tree burrow, trying to cease the vole within his claws, only to keep meeting dirt after dirt. The scuttling underground mocked him, so he kept on digging. Until finnaliy, His claws scored a patch of fur, then flesh. Soon he pulled the creature from its abode and snatched it up. This one would go to the Elders, Just like he had promised them. As the sun rose, the deputy remained on the rock she was sitting on. It was a rock, as tall as her, and she liked the view. Fawnpelt flicked her ears, seeing she was the only cat currently around. The deputy sighed, lashed her tail, and stood.

gozer slept peacefully on a tree branch just among the outskirts of the clan's territory. she snored quietly, her ears twitching from time to time.
redleaf came out of the warrior's den, yawning loudly as she had just woken up. she paused for a moment to lick her fur before gazing around at the other warriors. she sat down, wondering what she could do today.
patchfoot scented the air as he walked deeper into the territory. scenting a mouse nearby, he crouched, and waited for a moment before pounching. when the mouse just barely slipped out of his paws, he sat down, and sighed with defeat. hunting never was his strong suit.
swanheart was still asleep in the warrior's den. he dreamed of catching the biggest mouse in the forest. his pale green eyes opened for a moment but soon closed again. five more minutes wouldn't hurt... he thought, dozing back off.

He approached the entrance to camp and pushed his way in. A thorn scratched his fur, but he didn't mind. BlizzardBone noticed FawnPelt and smiled, laying down the vole. "Morning Fawnpelt, I thought you would never wake up." He teased, of course dipping his head afterwards. "Care to join me for Breakfast, I was just about to bring this vole to the Elders."[/fancypost]

Fawnpelt jumoed down from her rock when the tom spoke. Standing on flat ground she had to look up at him, sorta. She was a little on the small side. "Of course." She meowed.

BlizzardBone picked the vole back up and pushed on, his pawstep's steady on the grass. As he met the entrance to the Elders den, they called in welcome as he set the vole on the dens dry floor. One of the elders nodded in thanks, and he poked his head back out. Settling down in a patch of grass with a Wren in his paws, He finally spoke. "So whats the Patrol plan today?"[/fancypost]

Fawnpelt settled beside him. "Well, I was thnking you would take the sunset border patrol, with any one, plus taking the sunhigh hunting patrol. Redleaf can take the morning border patrol, i'll take the evening hunting patrol. Swanheart can take morning hunting patrol, speaking if which where is he?" She asked, looking around. Dismissing it she took a bite out of the wren, tail wrapped around her outer side.

"Well the early bird catches the worm, and you know GooseHeart would never be that bird, despite his name." BlizzardBone chuckled and bit into the prey. "I'm sure He will wake up soon enough, last night was exhausting anyway. I can go with him if he ever wakes up. And maybe an apprentice would go with me at the sunset Patrol." [/fancypost]

Fawnpelt chuckled before taking bite. "I suppose so, afer we finished this bird of course. I guess I can join you two aswell." She meowed, flicking her tail tip.

"Sounds great." Taking his last gulp of meat, He pulled himself up and stretched. "I guess I can wake him up now." He sprinted to the confined warriors den and called his name. "Swan! Wake up! Your going to miss all of New-leaf if you keep on like this!" Blizzardbone backed away shaking his head. "Bee brain, hehe.."[/fancypost]

Birchstar awoke to see that camp was up and running. The dawn patrol had begun to set out, and she decided to find something to eat.
-
Fawnpelt flicked her tail, padding to the entrance to wait on the two. She smoothed her fur, and stretched, sheathing and unsheathing her claws. She smiled, smelling the slightly cool air.

BlizzardBone hoped yelling in SwanHeart's ear was enough to wake him, though obviously it was taking a while. He Darted to FawnPelt and sat down, cleaning his chest.
Wrenpaw dropped the berries into the slot. The scents filled his nostrils in the den. Where ever his mentor was, he could wait.[/fancypost]

swanheart's dream was interrupted by the loud yelling of blizzardbone. "huh...what?" he asked, slowly raising his head off of the ground. suddenly realizing he had overslept, his eyes widened, and he nearly jumped out of the den. it wasn't like him to oversleep like this. swanheart padded over towards blizzardbone and fawnpelt. "sorry..." he mewed.
-
Fawnpelt snorted. "Its okay. Where too? Your leading the patrol ya know." She said, shaking out her pelt.

BlizzardBone looked to SwanHeart and chuckled. Though a raspy voice intterupted them.
Steamnose approached them."It would be great if you 3 kids brought back some new moss, my beds so damp my bones feel like twigs." His ear twitched, hearing the birds distant echos. [/fancypost]

[align=right][font=times new roman][size=10]The old white she-cat stretched her jaws wide open in a yawn as she stiffly padded out of the elders' den. She'd woken up with cold, aching bones and climbed out of her nest in hopes of basking in the warm rays of the sun to help with the discomfort. As she passed by a couple warriors and one of her fellow elders on her way to the fresh-kill pile, she just so happened to overhear their conversation. Her whiskers twitched with amusement but she continued on, not wanting to be rude and interrupt.
Windstorm sat in the remote corners of the camp, the tip of his tail flicking slightly as it suddenly came to him that he hadn't seen his daughter yet. An exasperated sigh fell from his lips. She must still be asleep, he thought, shaking his head. He contemplated going to wake her up but decided against it. If she didn't wake up soon, she'd more than likely miss her training and then hopefully learn how always sleeping in did no good whatsoever. Since he currently wasn't on any patrols, he shifted his position into a more comfortable one and curled his tail over his paws.
Whitepaw lay curled up in her nest, her long, feathery tail draped over her white muzzle. She was dreaming that she was stalking a shrew, although her usual habit of daydreaming decided to take over and distract her from the initial hunt. Her clear blue optics focused in on the shrew's interesting looking snout. It was long and thin and she found it to be rather strange. Maybe quite funny looking, too... she thought, adding onto her earlier observation. Her head tilted in wonder and fascination.
