    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; font-family: georgia;]Rabdael, unlike normal trainers, did not get a starter Pokémon; rather, he was gifted a young Sableye by a breeder in his hometown after completing some errands, and it became his first Pokémon. Similarly, it is to be noted that many of his Pokémon were not caught by him (and none of those in his team were), nor obtained in the usual ways, and that's what makes him so very odd.


    He found the Bisharp as a Pawniard, being ridiculed by children; it was untrained and confused, and could not fight back until rescued; he found the Charizard as a Charmander tied to a post 'round the back of a news station with its muzzle taped shut; he stole the Azumarill as an Azurill from a Pokémon daycare in revenge for the particularly high charge, seeing as the Azurill had perfect stats and he was feeling angry; he found the Alakazam as an Abra, wounded on the outskirts of Eterna City, in a grove; and the Lopunny was found as a Buneary in a bin in Eterna City, and he rescued it from there.

    Rabdael's choices are typically for a strong, neutral-offensive OU team that work together to break past barriers and destroy enemies as quickly as possible, with the Sableye as his stallbreaker and the mega Lopunny as his wallbreaker; he typically uses the Alakazam as a late-game sweeper - and often doesn't utilise its mega evolution - and the Azumarill as his top tank for essentially nuking any enemy that gets in the way. Mega-X Charizard is powerful, but he is always cautious when using it due to not having any grass-types to help soak up the attacks, and as it uses moves that have recoil, he tends not to overuse it. The Bisharp is simply there as a pursuit trapper, making it easy for his Lopunny or Azumarill to get in and deal big damage.

    Torch probably wouldn't even catch pokemon
    he'd just be like: Yeah dude, you can totally come along and help me out here.
    Though he'd have six pokemon just in case he ever got into trouble, six he's had for the longest time, and consideres family
