Silence. Silence and pure darkness were all the girl could see or hear at the moment. She could feel something below her, soft and cosy. She was suddenly aware she was lying in her bed. Opening her eyes and stifling a yawn, she reached to her phone on the bedside table, checking the time. 5:00AM. She had woke early again. Well, all the better for making sure her beloved was alright. She sat up as her eyes adjusted to the light flooding in through her window, and took note of what was around her. A television against the wall, along with a desk and a computer. A shelf and wardrobe took up space on the opposite wall, and her pride and joy at the bottom of her bed. The shrine to the one she loved. Standing up and putting her usual school uniform on, Ayano Aishi walked over to the shrine, where four items lay there. First, the picture of her love, the one who first made her feel emotion. She flashed back to when she first walked into the boy outside of her home, the day when something awakened inside of her, the first emotion she had felt. Love. Then she scowled to herself as she remembered the loud-mouthed girl with him. Osana Najimi. Stupid orange hair in pigtails, stupid legwarmers, stupid girl. Ayano recognized the ignorance and denial in the girl. She was a tsundere, and everyone could see she liked Yamada. However, our little "heroine" wasn't going to let this happen. Ayano, with her black hair in a ponytail and seemingly quiet demeanor, was almost going insane over her crush, her Senpai, and she knew she had to use any means possible to get rid of her rival. And so, Ayano, or Yandere-chan, snapped out of her little trance. She gazed over the other three objects, a band aid Senpai had once used, an apple he had bitten, and his stolen toothbrush, and those objects gave her the determination to seriously plan everything out. She had done something the night before, and she was sure she had gotten rid of any competition. Ayano switched her TV on, just in time for the news. A forlorn looking newsreader sat in the studio, looking like he didn't want to say the next words.
"Last night, much loved schoolgirl Osana Najimi was found dead in her school."
A grin from Yandere-chan, showing teeth that glinted dangerously in the light.
"It appears that she had hung herself from the sakura tree on the hill in school grounds, the same place fellow schoolgirl Kokona Haruka hung her friend Saki Miyu after stabbing her."
A small giggle. That hadn't been Kokona-chan, although her fingerprints were on the knife.
"We have found the one responsible for the second murder, and a possible suspect to prove Kokonas innocence"
There was a knock on the door.
"Ayano Aishi, you are under arrest for double murder."
